A wonderful attachment accessory for the Milwaukee 2825-21ST cordless trimmer. First, the build quality is great! It's light-weight but very robust. The change-out from trimmer to pole saw is super easy thanks to the Quik-Lok design. Once assembled to the M18 power head is has great balance and is easy to handle. I selected the power saw to "prune" low clearance branches on the trees in my yard. I was using a bow saw or my cordless recip saw but with both you have to be up at the branch, a little too close for safety and sometime no room to work. With the pole saw I just set the cut area, squeeze the power trigger and done in a mere second. Just so easy. Great power, can't tell it's battery powered except for the lack of noise. Features I like include the larger oiler tank and it's location. The location helps to position the pole saw right up to the trunk for close cuts. I also appreciate the branch hook. It helps to easily grab a snagged cutting. Chain maintenance is easy and fast to make adjustments in the chain tension. Another well designed tool by Milwaukee!

A CHAIN SAW on a POLE; EASY STARTING; QUIET; WELL DESIGNED — The feature that I love about the Milwaukee M18 FUEL QUIK-LOK 10 in. Pole Saw Attachment (Tool Only) is that it is so easy to start, not like the struggle with my gas powered full-size chain saw. It is a much easier option vs. a manual pole pruner for removing lower tree branches. It is necessary to add bar oil (not included). I like the translucent bar oil reservoir so I can see how much oil remains. I like the cleverly-designed tether on the oil reservoir so you do not have to worry about losing the cap or getting it dirty. It has a chain guard that is easy to put on and take off. It is slightly heavier than a manual pole pruner but it allows one to prune much faster with little effort so the tradeoff is worth it. The 10" bar length allows large branches to be removed. The 3 ft. extension is almost a necessity to reach the higher branches that you might want to prune. The extension could also be used to make the hedge trimmer more useful. We used the pole saw to prune limbs on a dogwood which is a very hard wood. The pole saw cut through the dogwood limbs without a problem. And so much faster than with a manual saw. And it made a clean cut. It connects easily to the QUIK-LOK Attachment System, It has a branch hook for added leverage but I have not yet found a tree branch where that has been useful but it is OK to have just in case. The attachment includes a scrench for adjusting the chain tension.

Another great product from Milwaukee. This Quik-Lok pole saw attachment is a must if you are already have the power head for this attachment. The saw has almost instant response when you pull the trigger which is really nice when you are trying to hold up and cut down a branch. The added branch hook is super nice and gives you the extra leverage you may need while cutting branches. The 10 inch bar is a huge plus and lets you handle most limbs and branches. The quickness and sharpness of the chain is makes cutting through large branches easily. I was able to cut through a limb that was 7 inches in diameter in just a few seconds. I also think the translucent bar chain oil reserve is a really nice touch and allows you to easily see when you need to add more oil. Additionally, the padded grip also makes holding on to the pole saw nice and comfortable. Overall I think this is a home run by Milwaukee i just wish the extension was included within this set.

CORDLESS; EASY-TO-USE; QUIET — The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 8 in. Edger Attachment for Milwaukee QUIK-LOK Attachment System is a pleasure to use for edging. Our previous edger was electric which meant we had to string extension cords, and not just any extension cords but 12/2 extension cords to keep the unit from overheating. Since the motor of this edger is in the base unit, the edger itself is lightweight. It has a blade ridge and slots in the mud flaps to help align the blade next to the solid edge. It may take a little practice to get a uniformly clean edge. The depth of the cut is easily adjustable by changing the height of the trailing wheel. Since the edger is open on one side, it is easy to clean after use. This attachment includes a scrench for changing the blade but the holding pin is included with the base unit rather than this attachment.

The edger attachment is an excellent addition to the battery powered string trimmer. I was surprised to find that it doesn't have a guide like most other edgers have but it still follows the sidewalk just fine. The unit uses standard blades and no special tools are required for blade changes.

So easy to use. Does a great job.

Milwaukee has done a great job transitioning from tool only to lawn equipment. The pole saw attachment is my third attachment for the driver tool. It’s not too heavy, like a gas pole saw. Changing attachments is quick and easy. Best of all, no gas to mess with.

I've been using a Ryobi edger with battery converter for years. Got this as a gift and was excited to use it . The blade spins forward, opposite of the Ryobi, which causes it to jump out of the dirt and smack the concrete. It takes much of effort to hold the tool down so it doesn't jump out. It also eats through batteries more than any tool I've ever seen. I have a 50 foot driveway and a about as much sidewalk. So far it's overheated a 9AH, fully depleted an 8AH, and is unable to use a 5AH.

Works great. Battery life is really good.

Pole saw works great, 4 hours of used right out of the box, will be getting the extension pole next for the higher limbs.

Actually I did not take this home. Was confused and looking for brush cutter head which I did find and took home. It is like all Milwaukee stuff……great
