This grinder is awesome. Cuts smooth, plenty of power.

Have had this battery for 3 years now. Use this one interchangeably through multiple lawn tools. Charge is starting to dwindle after a few years but feel with the amount of use this battery had good longevity. I am able to get through edging and blowing yard debris with my yard on one charge as an example for duration. Good battery

Tool works great but the guard is a terrible design. All other guards I've ever used are 10x better and easier to use. I had to return this tool because the guard a fluke being made of extra thick metal and it would not go on or rotate. Other guards were fine but the design is clunky and kind of difficult. I'd take a simpler screw clamp style any day because they hold tight enough to stay put yet still loose enough to rotate when needed. Some of the same model have Rapid Stop and some don't.

I purchased the 8 cell and 6 cell 18v battery combo with free tool during the holiday sales and it arrived quickly and packaged well. The Milwaukee brand is made with high quality standards and I picked the brushless 4 1/2” angle grinder as the free tool. Overall great value and I am happy with my purchase.
