Needed a set of long shaft bits for working in indented areas. The extra inch helped a great deal.

We already know that Milwaukee is killing it, did you know that all of your other favorite brands (insert competition) are using Milwaukee’s patented technology which they pay Milwaukee for to stay in the cordless/corded power tool game!

This was very helpful I got this set thinking that I wasn’t going to need it but it came in very handy!!!!!!

The Milwaukee Shockwave Impact Duty Alloy Steel Driver Bit Set contains 55 pcs in a sturdy plastic box. Very organized, each bit has its own place. I found it a bit difficult to remove bits and put them back in as the pieces are close together and snap tightly into the plastic holders. Better than having them slip out and being loose in the box though. There are multiples of some of the bits, the more popular ones. These are made up of a special alloy to provide longer life, and have Wear Guard Tips. All the pieces seem heavy duty and solidly made. Will take some time to see just how long they last but so far so good. The bit holder and nut driver magnets are very strong and hold tightly but i was able to pull them apart without pliers as mentioned in another review. This set contains a good assortment and each is laser etched. Easy to read when out of the box but not always easily read when snapped in their compartments. I am happy with the selection and convenience of having everything organized in a neatly packed box.

Milwaukee if you are reading this , your bits and your customer support are horrible,crazy that ryobi and ridgid probides better support, Chinese garbage,it literally did no last 10 min on my jobsite, joke and embarrassment, you competitors offer better quality at a fraction of a price . You guys over price and under deliver , disrespectful to the American People to give us this junk to build our society! Back to the drawing board i dare say and have some shame and humility would do you guys good too , you reps thinks this is the best thing next the jesus , no need to be rude to you customers. Junk dont buy people !

But I'm not nearly as impressed with the bits as I expected to be. The main bit that came with all the hype, I can't even use anymore. Haven't even had this set 2 years, and it's not like I'm a contractor and they get used everyday. They don't hold as tough as I expected. And they start rusting very easily! The bits didn't get rained on, but condensation got in twice! That's it. And it looks like they were left out for 2 weeks. Oh, and ONLY the main bit is magnetic enough to hold a screw!

I received my order everything fine and great except I for some reason thought it was the big one but it’s a half of one …. If u kan see thru the photos of this combo it showed a big one on top of the pack out roller… but where it shows what’s included in the set you’ll see it’s a smaller version still good just thought it was the big one anywho any future purchaser who purchases this combo a quick heads up on what to expect! Ty for your time!!!

This is a quality 55 piece impact duty bit assortment that is packaged in an easy to use compact case. This is a comprehensive assortment of bit types and sizes which should fit into most of the screw head styles that anyone will ever encounter. All of the pieces have clear size markings for quick identification. I have used them for driving screws in wall cabinets and for assembling some outdoor furniture. All of the pieces that I have used so far have fit together perfectly and worked very nicely. I am very satisfied with the quality and performance of this product.

Bought this bit set for my husband for Christmas. Only a few bits have been used since. I used a bit today to put in a screw thru cheap lightweight wood and the end snapped right off!!

This Milwaukee Driver Bit kit worked perfectly on my first job with it. I’m glad I had the complete selection of sizes available in this kit. I used these bits to remove a wooden donation cabinet that was attached to a brick wall with screws. I needed a large square driver, a small star driver, and a small Phillips head driver to remove screw from wall and cabinet. All were available in long or short lengths, and also a socket to hold the smaller interchangeable bits. Job was done in five minutes! There were also three small socket sizes normally used on appliances in this kit. Milwaukee makes great products, and the quality of these bits seems to meet their standards. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

This set has every square and star bit you'd need as well as Phillips and with all the lengths you would need and multiples of those. So, especially for professionals, as you work, and bits break, there are replacements. That said, these are durable bits and I had none of them break. This set of bits is a great investment and value. The cases are made of a nice tough plastic.

Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE Impact-Duty Alloy Steel Screw Driver Bit Set (100-Piece) is an extensive set of impact and drill driver bits in various shaft lengths. The bits have standard ¼ – inch hex ends for use both in cordless hex impact drivers and ratchet screw drivers. The set comes with five tip end types: Phillips, Slotted, Hex, Square and TORX. All the bits come in multiples so you have several in most sizes. I use these type bits with extensions because I have mostly stubby one inch bits and prefer the longer shafts. The set bit shafts come in various lengths, some 3 ½ - inches to get deeper into spaces and stubbier ones, one and two inches long, as needed. For all the sizes, included is a 2 ½ - inch magnetic extension adapter to go even deeper. Magnetic extensions are a necessity especially when working with the small bit sizes. Extensions work well, but prefer long shafts that feel more secure using them with some tasks. The SHOCKWAVE tag has been around for a while and is designated for impact use as well as all other uses. Impact work is hard on bits and these are designed to hold up better than others. These drive bits have a shock zone in the shaft to lessen over torquing the bit head. Over torquing can snap the screw head. They absorb some of the twisting at high torque. This translates into longer lasting bits that don't wear as quickly, will stay sharp and hold screws securely. Another improvement is a modified tip design to extend wear, not as obvious. I haven't had them long enough to vouch for these claims. but have good experience with an earlier driver bit set by Milwaukee, and these are made even better. Finally, with all the small pieces in the set a good storage case and organizer is a necessity. The two driver bit cases included are redesigned to fit in Milwaukee's PACKOUT storage system and are made to last. The hinges run along the back and it has a positive locking clasp to keep the bits secure. This set is likely the last one I'll be needing.

I love these screw driver bits because I use them with my Milwaukee power driver for almost everything I do around my house and vehicles. The hard case keeps the bits in order and it secures closed with a good sliding latch. The kit includes drivers and screw drivers which you plug into adapters and extensions to reach hard to reach areas. It also includes socket bit holders for 1/2 and 3/8 inch sockets.

I would call these simply the best bit kit I have owned. The material is very hard but does not chip under heavy loads. The tips are partially machined to give it the perfect fit in screw heads. This kit has enough bits to last you a long time and dispose of the old ones which we keep around for the occasional odd screw head! I really appreciate the inclusion of very long shaft bits, which come in handy in many occasions, now extensions are not required any more

I got this driver bit set to use with my Milwaukee 1/4" hex impact driver. As soon as I got the set, I found it advantageous to reorganize the bits in the accessory case because 55 bits, bit holders, nut drivers and socket adapters are a lot of pieces to sort through when I need a particular bit, driver or adapter. · I do most of the maintenance on my cars, and the socket adapters and bit holder have been very helpful for removing and reinstalling bolts and screws. The T27 Torx bit was the perfect size for driving 1/4" lag bolts that secure the cleats on some floating shelves I built. · I have had difficulty removing bits from the magnetic bit holders due to extremely tight fit, but find that lubricating the bits before inserting them into the holder helps some. · In the past I’ve bought individual Shockwave impact-duty bits (Phillips, Torx) in packs of two to five bits and I’ve had good success with their durability and wear resistance. Milwaukee Shockwave bits don’t strip the recesses in the screws when tightening/loosening them with high torque. · The bit holders, socket drivers and nut drivers were made in Taiwan; the driver bits were made in China and Vietnam.

A positive step forward

These 100-bit pieces comes in two plastic boxes, one has a translucent cover, and the other is opaque. Both are piano hinged and include locking latch. With the bits seated the box can take a fall without scattering all the bits about. Unlike the smaller 54-piece Milwaukee set this has 3.5” bit which are great for getting into tight spaces and for also seeing the work area without the need for a magnetic holder. The Milwaukee magnetic holder has a built-in capture spring that will prevent the bit from getting stuck to the fastener, unfortunately it will also prevent the user from removing the bit from the holder. I had to use pliers to get the bit off, and finally replaced it with a magnetic only holder. The kit design is supposed to make it easy to organize and access the needed bit, which is why I was puzzled by the use of a small detachable box holding a mix of 40-1” bits. They were scattered all about and the only advantage the compartment provides is that it can be removed from the kit and used elsewhere. Still having through pick through all the pieces to find the one size needed waste too much time. The size of each bit is laser etched but because how they seat into the holder the label is always off to one side. The plastic boxes can be stacked but do not lock to each other. For my needs, I still prefer the Milwaukee 54-piece kit as it includes enough variety and duplicates to make it field useable all in one case and each bit has its own holder. Unless you have a need for the 3.5” bits I would opt for the better organized set.

Great bid with exceptional bite!

I've had this set for just a little over one year, never seen rain nor exposed to moisture, but all the bits are rusting..see the picture! I switched to Milwaukee from Porter-Cable and currently own around 20 tools/accessories. I'm very happy with all the rest, but these rusting bits are a huge disappointment. Something had to have gone wrong during manufacturing or got a batch of junk material. I have a few other bit sets (different various brands) that are way older and cost a heck of a lot less then this set, and yet none of them show any signs of rust. Adding insult to injury, after two online messages and a phone call, no one from Milwaukee has responded. It's been more than two weeks since I called... computer voice said I would hear back within 24 - 72 hours... still waiting! If this is what Milwaukee calls "Product Support", I may need to rethink buying any more of their products.

Nice lil drill bit kit. Needed a star bit to take off the tail light assembly on a 2000 Chevy Venture in order to replace the lift gate struts. This kit had the correct star bit and wasn't that expensive.

Had the set for about 6months... The half of bits got rust.

Used this bit once and the Phillips bit is already damaged. Seems like it is NOT impact duty. Maybe try something else. See pics.

Bought to go with my Milwaukee impact driver. The 3/8” socket adapter, while it is a quater inch hex, is NOT impact ready and will not lock into an impact. The straight shaft was made for a drill and will slide right out of an impact. The kit is great otherwise, but why not make the “Impact Duty” socket adapter and nut drivers impact ready? Dissapointed in these pieces. The socket adapter is one of my most used bits.

Set comes with a nice hard case that is stack able with other Milwaukee cases. Latch on the case works well and doesn't appear to be cheaply made. The bits themselves are high quality and I haven't had any cam outs, but have been mainly using Torx heads. After driving around 100 screws so far, don't notice much if any wear on the tips.

It worlked

Has far too many duplicates. Don’t even understand why they put in so many duplicates. It doesn’t even save them money. The bits do seem to be decently made I guess but I just can’t get over how many duplicates there are. In the photos the numbers on the bottom show that they are duplicates.

I use it every day I never know what kind of bit tip I'm going to need and this has me covered in all angles even the hexs I run across rarely but I utilize every single bit in this case. Highly recommend and highly satisfied with product!
