Disappointed

Inconsistent Connection
Connection drops consistently, a few times per day. Amber light goes on/off frequently. Had to use a different router which is working without issues.

Superb router, in all respects
I purchased this router to replace my old modem and router system. The transition with my ISP was seamless, and I got this thing up and running very swiftly. Now having used it for over a week, I am extremely satisfied with it. On the backend, there is a lot of excellent options for port-forwarding and the like, making specified usage exceptionally easy to program.
The function and range are both fantastic. It replaced a system with peripheral two nodes, and it doesn't skip a beat. I have had no issues with it since I have installed it, which could not be said for the old system within the same amount of time.
I highly recommend this router/modem for anyone in a fairly large single family home.

NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1750 Smart WiFi Router
Purchased this router in 2020 and it has consistently worked without any issues. This is a very nice router and was a huge upgrade for our home. It was very easy to install and has a lot of nice features and the Netgear Genie app allows you to monitor and control your router easily from your smartphone or computer.

Blazing fast and kind of fast
Our 5G immediately went past our service providers speed maximum when engaging the wireless hub. The other channel is running about 1/3 of that. We are currently waiting on a new cable unit from our provider to see if that remedies the situation. Overall the setup was easy, and software has been good. Updated firmware was much easier that our previous NETGEAR unit.

Not ideal but it gets the job done
The NETGEAR WiFi mesh extender works. It is not ideal but it gets the job done. Unfortunately however, it slowed down my network considerably from 450-500mbps to 150-200mbps. Hope this helps.

Good product poor infrastructure
The router when properly working (78% of the time ) consistently provides 115gbts wich is very nice the issue is that it seems to have plenty of flaws leading to random connection failures fairly often but when ran as the second router in a parallel circuit it seems to be reliable so some patience will be needed

Great Product

Wi-Fi now through out our home
This device allowed us to scatter the Wi-Fi over 4000 ft.² in our house. Great addition for an old house with lots of little nooks and crannies that often disrupts the Wi-Fi signal. But this device runs flawlessly throughout the house no Wi-Fi breaks anywhere.

Solid but won’t update
Router provides strong signal throughout the house. However, it refuses to update using the app. It also constantly stops working on certain devices while working perfectly on others.

Better than expected!
I located it in our metal-sided barn 300 feet from the router in the house. Now I have strong WiFi, even in the pasture!
