We have CM-AHD10W-BU-H cameras. Very crisp even in low light. Some of them had gotten so old they needed replacing. Unfortunately those cameras aren't being manufactured any longer so we bought 2 of these instead. The quality isn't as good as the CM-AHD10W-BUH cameras. Not terrible, just slightly.

The mobile app needs improvements. Shut off channels not being used. Recordings should allow to jump around time lines.

This is my second purchase of a Night Owl DVR. The first one was purchased in 2018 and is still in use at the lake house. One video input is not working after 4 years of use but we only needed 6 inputs. The system I just purchased is going to replace was to replace the past unit and it has the ability to use the door bell function along with the cameras currently in place. Moving the old unit to the shop.

We installed our Night Owl system in our church a couple of years and we love it. But about 2 or 3 weeks the church found out we needed another camera So if these cameras are the same quality as the system is we will love them too. But most of all we can keep our church family safe. God Bless you all.

I changed out my old analog cameras for the HD version and I love how clear the picture is and the built in spot light

I bought night Owl system 6 months ago after trying several other brands and found this one the best system out there

I was able to work with Tech Support and found that it was just the power supply for the camera's that went out. I received an RMA and sent it back a couple days ago.

they not the best but they work well for the price i might get more once i get the 2 i got up and working

Very good quality and great price. We have installed 100's of camera system and different brands. These do just as good and if not better than the most expensive brands.

Upgraded from just a wired dvr to a hybrid the downfall is that I can still only use my wired cameras due to the wireless cameras not being compatible with this device so I now have two wireless cameras I cannot use

I had an original camera go bad in a storm. I replaced with this model. I am glad to have a spare in case I have problems years from now if these cameras become obsolete and are no longer available.

I bought this a couple weeks ago thinking that one of my cameras was bad, it turns out to be just a bad cable. I’m keeping the cameras just in case I need them in the future. Delivery was super fast I got my package in 2 days. Very pleased with my order.

I purchased a NightOwl replacement camera for my Security System. I’m very pleased with purchase, picture quality is excellent, day & night. I would definitely recommend NightOwl cameras.

Bought 2 more replacement cameras , and these are very good cameras for the price, my system can connect 8 cameras but currently don’t need all 8. I started using 720p, but moved to 1080p, but looking to do 4K soon, but will need to purchase different system, because the system I have only can use 720p or 1080p cameras. But 1080p still good video quality, I have enjoyed my systems.

I bought this camera as a replacement for a FAILED camera. The old camera was 10 months old and should have been covered under warranty, but wasn't. I really like the Night Owl system, with the 8 cameras. Good Picture.

Works with my existing cameras and my new doorbell and night owl cameras

they are easy to set up an install . Love the fact I can watch my home while iam away from home. Also found it cheaper to buy direct than from other dealers shipping was fast.

Works well with older camera models. Easy to set up.

Ordered the HDVRC20X81, with 2 wireless cameras, the doorbell, and 4 wired cameras. Initially upon receiving everything I was unable to get a good signal, after some troubleshooting we were able to determine the issue was in the DVR wireless ports. A quick internet chat, and 3 short days later the new DVR arrived, and everything runs seemlessly, crystal clear, and exactly as I had hoped upon purchasing. The customer service was absolutely excellent they made what could’ve been a stressful situation very easy for me. I could not be happier with my new security system and would recommend to anyone considering a security system!

I bought this system a year ago..No issues other than 2 cameras out of 8 stopped working. Purchased 2 more cameras from Night Owl, all is good. No complaints.

It is good product, the new DVR purchased to change with old DVR which donot support online viewing. but it is not showing good option to view channel on connected monitor. I had remote control old DVR. It is not working with new HC20X DVR.

Replaced 7 year old non supported Night Owl unit. Works well with older cameras, set was as breeze. Instructions a little confusing on setting up the phone app, but figured it out

I bought this a couple of months ago, there great , but the only downside is the 1080 system will not let you view all cameras at once, like my old does for fast veiwing.

I bought a system more than a year ago, and I love how crisp the videos are, even at night!

Only issue I have is the LED lights are so bright I have to put something in front of it to prevent from seeing them..

I upgraded to add and expand my current system. Easy to set up. Adding the harddrive was simple and quick as was adding the wireless camera.

We have had a night owl unit for five years and it did great until recently with hard drive failure and other issues. So I priced this unit and a very good price for 16 channels offered. Bought and put into service..only been over a week now but seems fine. Only reason for four stars is because unlike our other unit on play back and recording on a memory stick, I could record and view all cameas in one backup onto the stick. This unit only allows you to record only one channel at a time...time consuming...and you can only view two cameras at a time when playing play back?...why not all like the other?......maybe you guys and tweek your software out to accomplish this like your other units? For the price and all the channels offered I would recondmend at this time.......only time will tell if it holds up?

Device was compatible and worked flawlessly with my existing coaxial cameras. Looking forwards to adding a wireless doorbell camera because this device supports both wired and wireless. Does need a new application for phone and computer. The new app does not allow remote management and device must be configured while connected to monitor.
