I had hired a plumber a while back to plumb up two new bathrooms in an addition that we had put on our house. He had to tie in the new plumbing to the old plumbing. He decided not to come back to finish the job after a while, so I took it upon myself to finish the job. The section of 3" pipe that joined the 4" pipe was hanging down a bit, so I felt that this spot could use a hanger. This hanger did the trick.

I received my 3 inch plastic coat galvanized pipe clamp today, this is a well made heavy duty pipe hanger. It's approximately 17 inches long with nine adjustment holes to make it fit with most applications. I don't work with 3 inch pipe but I will use this for other projects. I like the fact it can be bent to fit tight areas. This is a useful clamp to have in stock when working in attics etc.,

The 3" plastic coated galvanized DWV hanger is a versatile hanger that I used to hold a 3" PVC pipe to the side of my seawall as a bumper to protect my boat. The metal hanger holds the pipe better than plastic strap and being plastic coated it is protected from corrosion of salt water around the pipe. I screwed it into the concrete with Tapcon hex head screws that can be removed or replaced because a hole is drilled first. I concreted over the part that was attached to the concrete seawall.

These were easy to use. Could have been a little longer but that was my only issue, was still able to use them by attaching them to metal strapping.

Great holder, it did the job and I have no regrets. I will purchace it again for a simular use.

It was very easy to use and it worked perfect. If you have any pipe or anything else that you need to hang up this is a great product to use.

Needed a 1" hanger but this one did the job. Slipped foam insulation over the 1"pipe, then attached the hanger and it fit perfectly. No more pipe hanger banging noise when the heat comes on!

Worked as expected for supporting PCV pipe for a radon exhaust fan.

I'm not a fair test because although I bought these items, I have yet to install them.

I replaced my metal rusted 3" hanger with this new plastic 3" coat galvanized DWV Hanger that won't rust and wear out. This 3" hanger was super easy to install and I used a pair of pliers to tighten the hanger. I put a screw in one of the holes on the metal end of the hanger and attached to a supporting wood brace. This hanger is just giving extra support to a water pipe. This hanger is well made and can be used on many different projects.

I used this Oatey, 3 in. plastic coated galvanized DWV hanger on a three inch vent pipe for my basement venting system. It’s a good product and easy to install in almost any position, It has a extra long arm and the locking screw is slotted to make for a easy install around the pipe. The plastic coating on the metal should not cut into the PVC pipe if the pipe should shift or vibrate. The hanger seems strong enough to hang any type of pipe including cast iron. There are cheaper hangers but I would recommend this hanger for its quality and strength.

3 in. Plastic Coat Galvanized DWV Hanger, I like the size and ease of use for this hanger, Going to use to hold a air line off the wall so I can use air anywhere in my shop. I have had it more than a week. Seems to be well made. Easy to use. I would recommend it to a friend. It has meet all my expectations. Will buy again in fact I'm going to need a lot more.

Ok, let's not make a HUGE deal about this- it's a pipe hanger. It's not a precision crafted piece of machinery. However, it is a few things that are worthy of note. First, it's VERY long. This makes it very versatile for just about any application. Second, the support portion (loop) is plastic coated so it fits snug without scarring the pipe if there's any movement. I used it with a PVC waste pipe and it worked perfectly. It's also got many pre-drilled screw holes and a good sized nut/bolt combination for closing the loop. This is a lot better quality than I would have thought for the price.

This item just came in yesterday and I have installed already. I had installed a hose piece to hold up PVC piping and it has been fine. This makes the job look better and should do better in the long run. It has a larger opening than I need but it will work out just perfect for the sump pump plumbing that we routed along the ceiling behind a cubby hole area. The holder part has a nice rubberized coating on it to prevent wearing through the piping itself.

This three inch PLASTIC COATED GALVANIZED DWV HANGER, is a great product. Unlike numerous hangers I have used, this is of a very much thicker grade galvanized metal than I am used to. The black coating on the ring, which is of also a thick, and durable, texture would protect the piping. It also came with a good screw to secure the pipe. Several, nicely spaced screw/bolt holes ensure easy and secure fastening.

Great idea, but was sent the wrong size.
