easy to unroll and lightweight door mat. good way to absorb leaves and mud and not track into house. easy to hose off. nothing on fabric to peel off. nice deep black color. big enough to go outside of standard sized front door. I use this smaller one inside and the 2 ft. by 5 ft. outside. lies flat and keeps debris from your shoes so you don't track inside.

just unroll and put outside to keep mud out of your house. This is a good size to be the width of the front door. what's good about this fabric is that it doesn't have little pieces of plastic to break off over time that look like rodent poo. It holds up well to the weather. I guess you can use it as an inside mat too. It is flat enough to lay down after being rolled up.

This is a nicely colored gray carpet with a durable black rubber bottom. The bottom is very sturdy unlike some squishy bathroom carpet bottoms. I measured it with my tape measure and it measures 59 inches by 23-1/2 inches. I measured it with my calipers and it measures 1/4 inch thickness overall. I weighed it with my postal scale and it weighs just over 3 pounds.

My intent for this rug was to put it in front of our doggy door to trap some of what our dog tracks inside. It worked great but we discovered that the rubber backing was really good. We have plastic lumber decking and rugs slide very easily on it but this one stays put. My wife moved it in front of the main door and it works great. It traps the leaves and such you normally track inside and so far they have been easy to shake off of the rug. When we first got the rug it was rolled and I was worried about how long it would take to lay flat but after laying it out in a warm room for a day it was fine.There was some kind of talc like powder on the backing I had to brush off. At first it looked stained but it brushed right off

We chose the Ottomanson Lifesaver Collection red 2 ft x 3 ft utility ribbed indoor/outdoor runner rug to use in our master bathroom. One of our family members just had knee surgery and was having trouble in the bathroom while brushing their teeth. Our old rug would slide around and was not conducive to being able to stand at odd angles. This ribbed rug was amazing with this. We did put some carpet tape on the bottom of the rug, but the ribbing in the rug allows them to stand steady while brushing their teeth and washing up at the sink. It also looks great and matches our towels. Very easy to clean and I will be looking for more of these rugs!!

Nice thin skid resistant bottom with ribbed top surface is perfect inside my front door to wipe shoes off before entering. I appreciate that this run is thin so doors can swing over it. I like that it does not move on the floor (stone entry way in my case) when walked over or vacuumed. It catches even small bits off of shoes and yet is easy to clean with a vacuum cleaner.

These mats do a great job of trapping and holding dirt, debris, leaves, etc. They are also easy to clean. I'm using mine at the front and back doors so I regularly sweep them with a broom and occasionally hose them off. They look and work great. They have a nice rubber type backing that keeps them in place so they are non-slip and don't move around when you wipe your feet. They are attractive and work great as a welcome-entry-walk off mat. They come in a variety of sizes. I'm using the five foot wide size at my patio door and the three foot size at the front door as a "welcome" mat. I hope you find this helpful.

This is an indoor/outdoor utility rug. It measures 2ft 7in x 5 ft and is ribbed in a solid dark red color. It has non skid backing which is a definite plus. It is a runner that is a bit wider than most, which helps. It was easy to set up after taking it out of the package. Eventhough it was rolled up, it still laid flat without the ends flipping up.

I placed the Ottomanson 2 Ft. X 5 Ft. utility, ribbed, indoor/outdoor runner rug outside of a pool entrance where there is a lot of pool activity that includes people and dogs. I wanted to place it inside to help control water and other things from being tracked in but was reluctant to do that as when I unwrapped the shipping wrapper there was some sort of fine dust that came off of the rug. When I handled the rug, my hands felt like they had talcum powder on them. It won't work outside either. It soaks up pool water and is like walking on a mushy, wet sponge. It will never dry out due to the pool and rainy Florida. My plan is to take a hose and wash off the power which I assume is a manufacturing residue or since the shipping wrapping was open on t he ends, it could have been picked up in transportation. The product information says non-slip and seems durable. Once I clean and dry it I will put it back inside where I think it will help with traffic. I did rate it as average quality due to the dust issue.

I put this mat in my shed that is separate from my house at the front door and works as well as a mat should work. It has a rubber backing To keep any moisture from getting to the wood floor and a fiber carpeted top. The one thing that I did notice is the grass and sand does stick to the carpeted top so maybe not the best thing for a high traffic area.

We put this area rug in our kitchen in front of the sink. It stays put, no slipping or sliding, and the ribbed surface provides good traction underfoot. It's attractive and fits in with our white and grey color scheme in the rest of the kitchen. Easy to vacuum or take outside and shake. The other rugs we had slipped on the tile floor and almost caused a dangerous fall on several occasions. This rug stays put!

Great little rug especially with the dogs coming in from the backyard. It has a very good heavy duty backing so the rug stays put when you walk on it and when you vacuum it and does not get caught up in the brushes. The only minor detail is that the rug is red and not light gray as stated. However, this does not have a bearing on the quality of the rug. Easy to clean and the ribbing on the rug does catch a lot of what the dogs drag in. It's also the perfect size to use by the back door.

Ottomanson indoor/outdoor Lifesaver Collection area rug is a great find. The area rug is heavy duty and has a ribbed design. Great for high traffic entry way with anti-slip rubber backing to keep from sliding. Easy clean keep vacuumed and spot clean for indoor use. For outdoor use Spot clean or hose down and air dry. I find it a great area rug for removing shoes after entering the front door.

Between the dog, the five year old, and myself we track quite a bit in the back door especially during the winter. I have tried several solutions at the back door and they have been either too small or get caught under the door and cause issues. This mat is thin enough to fit under the weather seal on the door, long enough to help catch debris and moisture and has a grippy enough backing to say in place. The surface is also soft enough that it feels nice on my bare feet. Another nice feature of the length is having enough room to stop the dog and dry her off before letting her back in the house.

This type of mat is frequently used as outdoor mats near doorways. This mat is much smaller as a larger is preferred. This fits the width of the door and if there isn’t a lot of foot traffic or where entries are smaller this should fit the job. The rubber back prevents slippage even on a smooth tiled surface. It does attract debris since it is a fibrous mat. It will sweep or vacuum easily but some debris always remains on these type of mats. Some debris shows easier since it’s a dark mat. Overall it performs well. It can be used in or outdoor. Our use is more as an outdoor since more decorative or seasonal mats are preferred indoors. The quality is nice yet average when compared to other mats of similar construction. This mat doesn’t have a rubberized border as some which can assist with staying flat and/or in windy areas prevent the mat from blowing around. This mat comes rolled and with the back side exposed yet it laid down easily and flat when removed from its plastic covered packaging.

Love this utility ribbed indoor/outdoor rug rumnner, in fact I will purchase another. I put it in the garage from the outside to inside. It has kept all the outdoor grime, fir needles, leaves etc. from coming into the house. I had a runner there but this one is sooo much better. The ribbing traps all the dirt from shoes and paws and keeps my home cleaner. It cleans up easily also.

This Ottomanson carpet runner is red ribbed pile with rounded corners and has a nice supple rubbery backing that will not skid. It looks like a commercial grade runner, but is not quite as thick. I’m using it on hardwood flooring outside the mud room which leads to my living room. It’s durable and feels good under foot, not too coarse. I’ve paid more for runners that weren’t as nice as this one. Very happy with it.

I was searching for a small mat to go just inside our kitchen door. This one was the perfect size, not too thick so the door still opens & closes and doesn't slip at all with a nice rubber backing. It arrived in great shape, shrink wrapped and no damage. I just unwrapped it, "reverse rolled" it to get the curl out and make it lie flat. Set in on the floor by the door and done! Looks great too!!!

This is a nice entryway rug for both indoor or outdoor uses.It is brilliant red and the pile is soft to the touch. The backing is made of a rubber or rubber like material so it will protect what is under it from moisture, in my case carpet. We are using it as a step-in rug at a doorway leading in from a patio with a hot tub. It will work perfectly for that application. This was packaged nicely and was easy to open and apply to the ground. The rubber backing keeps the rug in place with minimal slippage. It seems to vacuum easily. I would not hesitate to hose it off if a coke or mud was on it. Only negative-ish comment is that it looks a little industrial but that was expected. .

You can cut to fit this rug to suit many purpose. IT is very cheap. It is ribbed, thin, and stays in place. I found a good use for this rug in my SUV which came with a hard plastic to protect the cargo floor area, and where items in the cargo area kept sliding on the floor. This rug keeps my items in the cargo area in place. Removal and cleaning will be much easier. A great solution at a very very low cost.

This light gray 2 ft. x 3 ft. rug is inexpensive but is a nice quality. We used it in front of our garage door where there is heavy traffic. It is ribbed so that it picks up a lot of dirt. t has a non-slip backing so that it will not move around. it is made of polyester and is advertised to not shed. This is a very nice utility rug and can be used in many areas.

Definitely a indoor/outdoor rug. The backing is rubber so the rug does not slide across the floor. Another benefit is the rug won't leave water stains on the floor from being soaked through due to the rubber backing. The top is berber and is good for wiping feet. I like the 5 foot length as you can remain standing on the rug as you close the door so you do not have to remove shoes before closing the door. The rug is polyester and rubber so it can be washed saving money on having to replace it so often. Stylish enough for the entrance and rugged enough for a mud room.

This indoor/outdoor carpet doesn’t have a super heavy rubber backing that adds a lot of weight, but enough to keep it in place and it stays flat so as not to be a tripping hazard. Nicely made of tough black ribbed carpet on the top face, its attractive looking pretty much anywhere you need to protect your floors. This rug is perfect for wet or snowy shoes and boots in front of our French doors off the screened in porch going out to the back yard. We go in and out all hours of the day especially taking the dog out back and need a rug that will absorb blowing snow, rain and dirt that we would otherwise track in on the dining room carpeting. I had originally planned on putting it in the garage alongside my car for when I’m getting in or out of it on wet or snowing days, but it just looks too nice on the porch.

The quality is really impressive given the price. Under side is sorta ribbed so they will hold position without sliding around easily. I was a bit surprised when the black one arrived as it was rolled up backwards so it would not lay flat to begin with and wanted to curl up when placed with felt side up. The red one came rolled the correct way. No problem though because once I rolled the black one out it was laying flat after a couple of hours with no worries. The sizes are not consistent; Black one is 22 3/8” x 36” and Red is 23 3/4” x 35 3/8” and not a true 2’x3’.

I would not label this size rug as a runner; typically, runners are longer than 3 feet. However, it is a nice rug for an entrance way and does come is longer sizes. It has a rubber backing that keeps it in place and has a low tight pile that holds up well to my cat, who loves to sharpen her claws on rugs. The rug vacuums well or can be hosed off as needed. The price and quality are good.

The front entrance opens into a large room that needed a defined path from the front door to the rest of the house. I wanted a rug long enough to run the distance of the couch and a bit more. This size fit the space very well. It has a rubber backing that keeps it in place and has a low tight pile that holds up well to my cat, who loves to sharpen her claws on rugs. The rug vacuums nicely and the quality is good.
