Very dependable, works quickly. The whole base of the pot lights up when you turn it on. I especially like that it is glass and I can see how much water is in it. My mother has a metal electric kettle and always has to open the lid and look inside to see how much water is in it.

It’s fast and I like the blue light. Because it’s glass you can see if there is any calcium buildup and you know when it needs to be cleaned. Definitely makes you realize that you should use filtered water only in these kettles.
