Since this was over my head, I appreciate the 4 foot sections, much easier to install than the 8 foot ones I used in the walls.

Bought this insulation for sound deadening between office spaces but found out later that Lows carries a better insulation for sound than Home Depot. It's white, stiffer and more dense.

As expected these batts expand to basic shape rather quick...
As expected these batts expand to basic shape rather quick and made install relatively easy. Maybe I had a good batch or they all are much less irritable to my skin, time will tell with 48 more bags to install.

Hi David, thank you for your review. Sometimes a smell can occur, described as a burnt sweet smell, due to the process for cooking the insulation binder.
