Great product, RUMBLE STONE is the best product for this kind of job! I did tons of research and HD has everything you need. I purchased the stones separately (not in the kit). Much cheaper. the benches turned out perfect! No cutting or grinding. super easy to install. just took sometime to lay out each section.

Purchased the Pavestone 72 in. Bench "Kit" No.1 (RSK50977) after reviewing the Home Depot Product Guide Book displayed in the Pavestone area in Home Depot. Once I received the 72in. Bench "Kit", it did not have the 72" wood bench. I thought it would ship later. Wrong, the No1 72in. bench "Kit" does not come with a bench. A bench "Kit" without a bench. Very False and Misleading. Second the cost of the "Kit", $288.00, is double the price if you purchase the stone product separately at Home Depot. I cannot call this a "72in. bench Kit", when it does not include a bench. After I found the bench was not included, placed back on the pallet and returned to Home Depot for a refund. The young lady at the Return desk and the young man who off loaded with the Forklift were very helpful. They both agreed there should be a Disclaimer in the Home Depot Pavestone Product Book the bench is not included.

The add for the “kit”. misrepresented the product. I could have bought the bricks for a lot less. No wood was included, no adhesive included. This was not a kit. It a pile of expensive bricks. I considered this to be false advertising. Although the add said in small print and you had to scroll

Not what expected, too expensive for a few pavers that doesn’t include the wood for the bench, be aware n read the email letters... I builtes one similar at a fraction of the cost of this one with pavers that weee on sale for $.22c each paver..

This is very deceptive because the wood is not included. Description states 72 in. but there is nothing 72 in. long because the wood is not included. My fault for not reading the 'fine print' and all the reviews. Even the HD associates spent a long time looking for wood that didn't exist for this item. I echo what many others are saying "This is not a bench kit."

Great Product Fun and pretty easy to assemble.. Too bad Home Depot did not have the Wood. I used Really Nice Red Cedar but had to souirce it elsewhere then HD Other than that, this was really good

When a product description uses the word "kit", it suggests that all parts, pieces and components are included in the box. Such is not the case here. All you get are the blocks and nothing else. The assembly instructions are on the HD webpage for this item. Further down the page on the HD site showing this item is the information indicating that the wood and other materials are not part of the "kit". It would be much clearer if the word "kit" were omitted. I found that I could buy the blocks separately cheaper than the price of this package.

So, I liked the finish product but gave it 3 stars for the directions that listed the stone amounts incorrectly. I did not buy the kit but rather took one reviewers advice and bought the pieces separately based on the directions. 32 large stones will make 2 benches! 32 small stones are not enough to make 1 bench! You need 16 large stones and 40 small stones for 1 complete bench. Rather than return the extra 16 large stones I went and bought another 48 small stones to complete the first bench (8) and build the second bench (40). Also, the directions do not list a 2x4 for the end cap but you can see in the picture it is needed. Again, nice bench - product list sucked.

Be forewarned. The pavestones are delivered on a pallet and the larger stones are a bit heavy. The pattern to assemble was very easy to follow. We chose to buy cedar for the bench seat, and it looks fabulous. However, don't make the mistake we did. Assemble the brick and place the 4X4s , then measure for your end pieces. We had to have a second set cut when the 14 inch length was off by less than an inch at each end. Couldn't buy the 1X4 in cedar for the ends of the seat at Home Depot so had to go elsewhere.

It should be made obvious this is only the stone and no lumber is included.

Once completed, the bench is beautiful. Please know the instructions are poor! It was difficult to know the correct pattern to place the stones. The "kit" does not come with the lumber not the construction adhesive necessary to complete the bench.

Very easy to install. Use the picture provided to set each stone properly. Very comfortable for seating.

Very easy project to bring beauty to your backyard. I bought two kits and made an L-shaped bench for the corner of my patio. Directions online were easy to follow. You do have to purchase the wood separately though.

Description and photograph indicate a "BENCH kit," but the wooden bench part is NOT included. This should be clearly indicated in the product description and photograph, NOT only in the fine print. I plan on returning the Rumble Stone for a complete refund.

As the descriptions states this is a KIT. I ordered this item along with others and much to my surprise it does not include the wood to complete the KIT. I called customer service and they shared with me the fine print at the bottom of the description online. If the picture shows it with the wood pieces to complete the KIT, then the description should read, RUMBLESTONE 72 in x 17.5 in CONCRETE GARDEN BENCH KIT (DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY WOOD WHATSOEVER) so technically WE should NOT CALL IT A KIT. Very misleading, not transparent.

Once the boards are stained, it takes only about 25 to 30 minutes to put together. It looks great for a cheap price.

This kit makes a nice bench for the yard or patio. Pavestone makes a quality product. However this kit does not come with a wood bench. You must purchase the bench materials separately and build it at an extra cost. The bench kit comes only with pave stones to make the stands to support the bench. For the price without a bench its not a good value. I purchased the materials to make the bench i.e. the pave stone, lumber, nails and wood stain for much less than the price of the kit at my HD. So if you want a bench, purchase the materials at HD separately and save some money.

Very easy to put together you can get everything you need at home depot

Not only do you need to buy the boards and assemble them separately the directions on how to assemble the stone and get the bench seat really aren't that well described. Mostly given in pictures. Also, when the stones were delivered eight of them were broken and I've had a hard time getting replacement stones to even begin assembly. Two weeks later and still waiting.

Hello, I read through the description of what IS and IS NOT included with this item. And so my project worked flawlessly. Good solid pieces of rumblestone. My wife put this together in mere minutes. The wood is of post-cut lengths so no cutting is required after purchase. Every HD store in within my area carried this lumber. Don't give an item a bad review because you didn't read the product details and description.

I'm honestly not a person who ever writes poor reviews. But very disappointing to order a "Bench Kit", have it delivered, and find all I was sent in my "Bench Kit" were the stones. I had to go out to Home Depot and buy the bench part (wood) separately. Had to have it measured and cut. Then came sanding and staining the wood pieces before I could put it all together. Once it's all done, it looks very nice. But my expectation is that when I buy a "kit", all the pieces are included. Not to mention the added expense to the project.

All of the pictures, as well as the directions, show that its a complete bench kit. The boards do not come with this order! Further, you wont be able to find the bench boards anywhere to buy. Totally worthless and amazed that Home depot would sell a product with this kind of customer confusion. A total hassle.

My wife and I are redoing our backyard and decided we wanted to install a fire pit and a bench. Rumblestone offered both without needing to rent a stone cutting saw. The design is great and both look fantastic in our yard. I have three suggestions: 1. Buy the pieces separately, HD has a brochure explaining each piece you need to purchase and it is much cheaper than buying the kits; 2. The pieces are heavy, if you decide to build multiple projects like I did, plan on a few trips (bench and fire pit required two trips with my Tacoma); 3. Assemble the bench where you wish to have it placed permanently, I made the mistake of building the bench in my garage (wanting a level surface and not thinking to total weight) and it ended up being too heavy to lift. Overall, the results are fantastic and it's really easy to build.
