This remote is total junk. It would not initially connect with the wifi. After trying several times to get it connected, it still won't work. The remote itself will not work, there is a blue light on the remote that should light up when a button is pushed, and 80% of the time it does not light up and the remote will not connect to wifi or the lights. This remote is absolutely useless and a waste of money. Philips or home depot should reimburse customers gas money for having to return this horrible product to the store. Home Depot needs to take these off the shelves and stop selling them.

It is unbelievably hard to sync. Abandoning the hue bridge component for this strip is mind boggling - AND YOU NEED ANOTHER APP!!! Wouldn’t recommend.

When I opened the box, it was empty. So I had to take it back for a refund, which, thankfully was no problem.

Be nice if it could work all at once.

Easy to install, works well w/ Hue Bridge. I control this for theater accent lighting w/ a Lutron Aurora dimmer switch (battery powered) allowing it to always be available at both the wall and via the app.

Works perfectly... I like this proudct better than have the app at my phone because everyone at home can use the control any time..

Easy setup, working in seconds. Ties to app to set color presets and includes a night mode button as well as brightness control.

This is the strangest thing. The remote worked one day on one Phillips wifi light bulb. It would not pair with the second Phillips lightbulb in a different room on day 2. This is a great concept but a terrible user interface. It would be nice if some type of upgrade can be made for the remote to work properly. The worst part is that the remote overheated. This is concerning because it was very hot. This made me think it could start a fire. It will be returned.

Easy to set up. It works when the app doesn’t.

Bought two remotes for our WiZ home and one has stopped working after about 2 months, and the batteries are getting hot, like a, dead short inside. It's possible this remote goes haywire with low voltage conditions, but overheating should not be a failure mode for weak batteries. Also, the rounded back of the remote makes it impossible to set the device on a table and use the buttons. Version 2 needs to have a flat back and revised circuit/firmware.

Good, but need another couple presets

Super fast easy setup, worked instantly and can quickly change which light it controls within app as it can only be assigned to turn off, on, dim or brighten one light at a time. Mountable or comfortable as hand held. Good if you don't want are unable to use your phone for those features.

1 star because the branding is confusing. I didn't realize not all Phillips products work with the Hue system.

Little disappointed that you can’t curve the strip around the TV to use. Colors are awesome but it would look the heck of a lot better if it went around the back TV and not a straight line.This is a waste if going for that look. Too many other options that actually curve. The only way to get this one to do that is to buy a bunch of extenders - cha ching.

Linked up fine but buttons do not work as you would expect. Dimmer only dims, even if you choose to brighten. Basically, it is only good to turn the lights off and on.

You have to add it to your Wix app on your phone via WiFi. The remote will not connect even though the app is working fine and so are the lights. I thought the remote was supposed to work without WiFi.
