It was exactly what I wanted. Looks great and is much brighter than my old light with the same number of bulbs.

These lights are very pretty and give off just the right amount of light. We installed ours facing down and like the effect it creates.

An amazing difference! It is elegant and beautiful, I am very glad that I replaced the bathroom vanity lights in my home.

The overall design is quite nice, and the ability to install it two ways a cool feature. BUT, the CFL bulbs that require a special socket (not standard so other bulbs you may have...like LED or even specialty bulbs) have to go. Now I have to buy three new standard sockets (screw in type versus the CFL two pin push-and-twist) and modify the thing. Why wasn't that in the selling features? Very disappointed that Home Depot would let this go through without an "obvious" notice. Oh, is it still true that CFL bulbs contain mercury (poison)?

Over the years of working in New Construction and remodeling, I have installed hundreds of over the mirror lights in bathrooms, bedrooms etc. This light is very well made. Sturdy, easy to install, heavy wires, bulbs included, all around a real value. I chose this to install in my own bathroom remodel and downsized from a 3 foot open light bar to a 3 light 24" light. I was worried about the amount of light the new, energy efficient bulbs would produce and couldn't be happier, I have about twice as much light, using 1/2 the amount of energy. I installed this light with the globes pointing up and get a great reflection off the ceiling, which I painted bright white over a fresh coat of knock down. I installed them this way due to switching from just a mirror to a flush mounted medicine cabinet. These three little light bulbs light up the whole 6' x 12' bathroom with plenty of light to shave, apply make up etc. In fact in the middle of the night, I turn on a smaller can light just to keep from blinding me. Great finish on this light as well. Matches all the other brushed nickel in the bathroom great.
