I have no idea why this product has such negative reviews.  Over the years I have had to throw away so many paintbrushes because I could not keep them clean.  On a whim I purchased this and it has completely changed the fate of my arsenal.  It is a simple concept that gets paint from the bristles base which had always been my issue.  I have now used it dozens of times on the same brush and the brush is in exceptional condition.  In fact, since I've used it, I have not thrown a single brush away.  I could not disagree more with the negative reviews, and highly recommend this product.  For the price, it is a worthy addition to any homeowners toolkit.

The comb is very light and sturdy. It is very helpful in cleaning any brush, however if you leave the brush go too long without cleaning this comb is necessary for cleaning. Brushes can be very costly and it hurts if you have to throw one away. This comb really helps to save those brushes. It also helps to remove paint faster in cleaning a brush under regular circumstances.

Is good, but the opening between the cleaning nails is to spread.

This comb worked very well for cleaning my expensive paint brushes. The tines are sharp so that they cut through the bristles of the brushes very well, and they are stainless steel so that they do not rust. I first soak my brushes in paint thinner with them hanging upside down, with the bristles pointing down. (Never place paint brushes in a container with the bristles pointed down. Always hang them.) Then I comb them throughly with this comb. Then pat them down with a paper towel. Then hanf them by their handles to dry. This comb is help keep your expensive paint brushes in good shape.

The cleaning prongs were too far apart. Little help in cleaning brush.

This is a must have for cleaning any and all brushes.

I wasn't impressed initially, but that's because I thought this was a comb that you can paint with. Once I realized it's to clean the paint brushes, it turned out to be great. I'll save so much money not having to buy paint brushes as often that I'll be able to buy lots more paint, or other things.

MUST HAVE for any paint job with a brush. Loosens up guck embedded in the brush and helps wash away paint. Extends the life of paint brushes.

Great tool to use, it’s better than using your fingers to separate the bristles. Used several times as I’m repainting my baseboards. An inexpensive tool that paid for itself in saving time during cleanup.
