Quick, accurate nailing...
This nailer works just like it should. Magnetic seat inside the tube holds nails in place, easy to control with pressure, and maintains nice and even striking when nailing. Like any palm nailer, it can only get in so tight to a corner, but overall is pretty compact. Depth setting works well, going raised, flush or in dented. Used it today to drive 9010 D nails for stair stringers. Did each one flawlessly running off of a Dewalt pancake compressor.

Ignore my last review on this. Terrible hose
This hose was great at first. One of my favorites but it got caught in a corner like all hoses so but this one burst. I figured it happened in the middle and on the packaging it said mendable so I bought a mending kit and put it on. It didn't make it through the day before it burst again but in a different spot 8 inches before the mend. I've had junk husky hoses take more and keep going. Pressure at the regulator was 110 and just running trim guns on it. Went back to my Dewalt hybrid hose

One of best hoses I have purchased
This is for sure one of the best hoses I have purchased so far. Everyone knows the newer, thinner poly hoses are generally crap when it comes to staying straight and not curling into a mess. Rubber hoses lay straight but are heavy and stiff in the cold. I unrolled this house and straightened it the first time and have been dragging it behind me all day without single issue. It is light, it doesn't curl up like those other hoses do and it just works. If you're a trim guy, buy this hose.

I bought one of these nailers and noticed the off center hole (see pic). I picked up another, today, and it is identical in that regard. I am curious as to why the hole is this way and whether this is a defect.

After watching some YouTube vids on deck building did I learn about the mini palm nailer. Faced with building my first deck I tried to learn as much as I could about tools and techniques. I had some worries over having to hammer in nails in tight quarters. When I saw this I had to get one. Of all that's out there this one brand stood out as the mid range price offering and had great reviews. I can't imagine not having this tool! What a fast and easy way to attach 3.5 inch nails with rapid ease! And no bent nails either. I highly recommend this RIGID palm nailer to anyone who builds decks or framing. What a great little tool!! Easy to maintain and use. JUST MAKE SURE you load the nail with the pneumatic hammer shaft facing away from you and never palm hold the nail as you load it. Load it like holding a cigarette, two/three fingers. The unit starts hammering as soon as you exert slight pressure on the nail inside the hammer shaft. Just follow common sense and safety guidelines in the booklet. You will love this tool.

This is a good palm held nail driver. It is made nicely and the cost is a plus. I used this to put up pickets on a fence. The palm nailer was ready to use right out the box. It does come with lube as well. It does have several different settings for how far you want the nail to be driven. Once you determine the setting you want to use and air pressure, this makes driving nails so much easier and saves time significantly. Occasionally some nails turned, but I had a hammer handy and pulled them out and kept going with the palm nailer. I was very impressed with this palm nailer and definitely see myself using it in the future for DIY jobs.

I loooove this tool, it made constructing a deck much simpler. The sound is fun, it's light and super easy to use! Driving nails is simple in awkward places a regular hammer won't cut it.

Dont forget to register within 90 days or else you will have a paper weight.
My RIGID Palm Nailer R350PNF worked good until it broke. If you forget to register within 90 days you get to pay an exorbitant price for their repair parts. The cheap $1 broken stem in the picture now cost $25.31. Having a cascade effect the cheap broken stem then destroyed the $51.51 Cylinder. Considering a new Palm Nailer cost $59.98 it now becomes a paper weight.

Had this hose for a week now and it lays out better than my 100’ hose. Like the color orange and the protective rubber ends at the fittings. Also like the covering of the hose feels like cloth. Rolls out and rolls up very nicely. If you use your compressor, you want this hose.

I have used about every air hose type manufactured over the years including many in my machine shop. Many claim to have superior features but this hose is probably the best I have used for the handyman. When they say it lays flat they are spot on. Many times I have tripped over an air hose that was curled up enough to catch my foot, this one really lies flat and stays flexible in hot and cold weather. The flexibility is superior and it weighs less than 4 pounds. Great for the job site air supply and easy to store.

This is a great air hose. It would also be better to call it an anit-kinking hose based on the way its made. I have two other hoses that I worry may kink, but not this one. The braiding on the outside of the actual hose looks like it will let the hose lay flat and not kink while dragging the hose around the shop. Now to see how it does when the weather gets cold.

The Ridgid ¼ in 50 ft. Lay Flat Air Hose is an amazing piece of engineering. The design from tip to tip is very different than the standard air hoses on the market. Ridgid has spent a lot of time listening to the users of their products and applied them to this air hose. Both ends sport 360-degree spindles that keep the hose from coiling and knotting up. Both ends have guards that keep the hose from kinking and working in conjunction with the swivels keep the hose lying flat on the floor. The hose makeup is such that it won’t catch on objects in your shop and the fabric design makes for a no marring and lightweight product. i highly recommend this product as a great addition to anyone's shop.

This RIDGID 50 ft. x ¼ in. Lay Flat Air Hose is indeed Ultra-Lightweight, and Flexible. The fittings swivel 360 degrees, though I don’t think that matters when using quick disconnect fittings, which swivel in themselves. The Bend restrictors fit tightly preventing them from sliding back and forth while connecting or disconnecting. This has always been an issue with my old rubber hose, making it a bit of a hassle to push the quick connects together. As for the “Lay Flat” claim, I’m not so sure about it. As the photos below show, it got a bit wrapped up in itself just while coiling it on my hose hangar. As I said, it is Ultra-Lightweight. So light in fact, that the weight of the female connector is enough to pull it down and tighten the coils around the hangar. That’s kind of a hassle for me. To prevent it, I have to connect it to my air chuck hanging on a hook above the hose, which I’m not crazy about. I don’t like leaving tools connected when not in use, and that air chuck will have to be disconnected to wrap it back up (or using other tools). This alone may make me go back to my rubber hose. I don’t know how abrasion resistant the hose will be. The description says its “field repairable, but one might need to keep repair fittings on hand for this to be a benefit. Additionally, there is a warning to discard it if it comes in regular contact with gasoline, so it might be a problem in some shops (not mine). Overall, this looks to be a pretty good hose, but I don’t know if it’s worth the $45 price. And, I would really like to see MADE IN USA.

This is a very heavy duty hose that allows the end fitting to rotate when attached to fittings. I installed this in my shop with my air compressor and i noted that the hose does not bind up like other types of air hoses that I own. It is made of heavy duty rubber type compound and is ribbed for easy handling. It is 50 feet long and reaches most places in my shop.

The Ridgid 1/4 inch I.D. Lay-Flat 50 Ft. air hose is an excellent product. This air hose sports all of the normally found features on today's air hoses like 300 PSI max operating pressure and quality brass fittings but it also has swivel fittings on both hose ends and a real nice woven fabric covering on the hose. I haven't seen that since my first 1980's era air hose that came with my old compressor. Looks cool and feels great! Also this hose really does lay flat when uncurled and ready for use. It's very supple and flexible. Perfect for snaking your way into and around works in-progress. I liked this air hose a lot but it is pricey and for the price I feel that it should have included the quick-connectors already installed on both ends. After adding your choice of quick-connects you will have spent over $50.00. Also I would like to see a 3/8 inch version offered. 1/4 inch air hoses work very well for small to intermediate size air tools but larger tools like framing nail guns, sanders and spray guns often need more CFM of air than a 1/4 inch hose can supply. This hose works great with brad nailers, finish nailers, air brushes and similar devices but don't rely on it for bigger stuff. Overall, this air hose is excellent and even though tools don't have to look good this hose is attractive!

I install flooring, so when the crew gets multiple polyurethane hoses going they seem to always get intertwined. Then, I introduced them to this hose and we all love it because it's not a trip hazard like other hoses. It lays flat and makes the jobsite less chaotic. It's a little pricey, but definitely worth it, so far. Looking into getting a few more.

The Ridgid lay flat air hose is a light weight 1/4 inch 50 foot air hose. The hose has a tough woven outer sheath with 360 degree swivel connections allowing the hose to move freely in use. The hose is kink resistant and tangle free. Both ends are protected by a rubber casing that prevents kinks at the connections to the air supply and at the tool. You can easily roll the hose up without twists and knots. With a maximum pressure of 300 psi, this hose will fit all my needs.

Few instructions came with the palm nailer and they were not very helpful. Fortunately, I had watched an online video before I made my purchase and had some idea of how it might be used. I was able to figure it out, but it did not seem to work well until I raised the air pressure to over 100 psi. Then it drove a 3-1/2 inch twisted nail into pressure treated wood quite easily. I was pleased to find that there was almost no vibration in my hand, the tool was easy to manipulate, and the nail could be placed accurately. It is also convenient to be able to use an appropriate nail for the job--in this case galvanized--and still be able to drive a large number of nails quickly and accurately. I had trouble getting the nail head to end up flush until I figured out that this is adjustable by twisting a black dial just above the driver. With the proper setting, I was able to drive the nails flush consistently. I was building the base for a small shed and after making a quick job of the frame for the floor, tried to use this tool to nail down the plywood floor. I used 1-1/2" ring shank nails, but these had a tendency to bend while being driven, perhaps because the head is relatively small. I got frustrated and just drove them in with a hammer instead. So maybe this is not a good tool for every nailing application, but it is small, versatile and affordable and I am very happy to carry it with me when I am undertaking a project. I also like the fact that it will fit into small areas where swinging a hammer would be difficult or impossible. It also seems very safe as it will not fire a nail unless it is in contact and some pressure is applied to the tip. It's probably safer than my hammer, which has "got" me a few times over the years.

I removed a wall at a hair salon that had a cold air return in it and there was 3 joist spaces with no floor that I had to repair. There was no way I could have added support for the new subfloor without taking the entire cold air return apart in basement which was no easy feat because of drain and waterlines, but I was able to easily reach the palm nailer into cold air return through the holes cut in floor and add nailers to install subfloor. Saved me easily a half days work! Tool paid for itself just in this first job! Highly highly recommend this tool!! Great for tight spaces and awkward positions

            Love it.
I love this palm nailer. It is definitely built well. Performs as expected. I did get oil on my hand coming from somewhere inside the tool. Not sure if its normal. It comes with a bottle of oil and an allen wrench which tells me oil is part of its maintenence but hoping to find out if it is normal for it to get on my hand during use.

Very Solid and works well but very loud.
First thing I want to note is how loud this unit is. Please make sure you wear hearing protection. Now that I'm done with my public service announcement, what a well built tool. This is fairly heavy for its size but it does exactly what it is suppose to and will drive nails with no effort on your part. It is small enough to drive nails in pretty tight places where a hammer wouldn't fit. Keep in mind it is only to be used with larger head nails. I was playing with it and had a large finish nail and I managed to jam it so make sure you are using the recommend 6d nails and it works.

Simple to use, efficient and effective
This nailer is handy for getting larger nails into tight spaces where a framing nailer will not fit, or for mid-sized projects that brads are not right for. It can be used right or left handed. The male coupler is attached and it's ready to use right out of the box. The drive depth can be adjusted to set the nail as deep as required, although selecting the depth setting is not very clear based on the markings on the tool. It took some experimentation to figure out. There are two magnets in the driver to hold the nail, which do the job. Setting the nail properly and driving it straight into the work surface takes some practice. I had several in the beginning that went in at a terrible angle, got bent or went in somewhere I did not want them to. This improved with use. I tried all sorts of nails in the beginning to get used to it. Finish nails are not appropriate; you are better off with a brad nailer. I was able to fit roofing nails in the driver for use, and found such larger head nails to be best suited for the tool (such as common nails

              Super Fast
I’ve never used a pneumatic palm nailer before getting this tool, and I have sometimes struggled with hand nailing in very tight inside corners, where limited clearance makes it impractical to use a traditional air gun or swing a hammer. This thing is terrific, making very short work of driving nails. The magnetic guide easily grips common nails, though it can take some practice to drive them straight (see picture), -- because the nails are driven quickly, there’s little time to “steer” them, as you might do when hand nailing. The swivel air connector does a fine job of keeping the hose out of the way (see picture). The weight and the grip felt comfortable for me (see picture). I noticed a small hissing sound and a little air escaping through the palm side of the nailer – not sure if this is “normal,” but I did not encounter any problems driving nails. I use a lot of pneumatic tools, so I have a 26 gallon, 5 HP compressor which was more than adequate for this small tool. Not sure if the performance might suffer somewhat with a smaller compressor due to the small passage of air at all times. For me, it’s a fine tool to have to conquer space restrictions.

Haven’t used it yet, but I’m not expecting much. All these new 1/4” air hoses look super flimsy compared to the 3/8. Had to replace my small 25 year old side stack compressor and bought a new rigid compressor, this hose and accessories. I’m just not expecting a lot. After I use it a few times, I will come back and edit my review.
