Works exactly as advertised.

This item is terrible right out of the box! Cannot remove the plastic cellophane from the back, and when we finally was able to get one piece off the back and applied it to the bottom of the rug, it still slipped. Better off getting two sided sticky tape, this is worthless and is being return.

The carpet still slides around. I used the entire roll on this one runner. On a positive note, at least this product sticks to the carpet. The other two anti-slip products I tried would stick to the floor but not the back of the carpet.

I washed 3 of my matching rugs and 2 nearly lost all of the latex backing. After tearing everything off and drying them I searched for a backing to be able to continue to use them. (There is a large 6 x 8 under my kitchen table! I am thrifty and don't want replace everything!). I was hesitant due to the reviews here about the tape. I went to Home Depot to physically examine the tape. I selected two boxes for 4 x 6 rugs and made sure the adhesive seemed to cover edge to edge on the two rolls. I cut to fit for both a runner and a 2 x 3 using all the tape. The rugs are down now and seem to be holding. I am sure as we stand on them the tape will be pressed in more securely. I think it was well worth the 10 dollars plus a roll. The small rug alone cost more than that! I hope to get another year out of my matching rugs!

1 roll will not cover the 4x6 rug. This is all that it covers buy following the directions on the roll

Everything fit well and was easy to use the tape holds my runners in place well !

First, half of the "sticky" side had no adhesive on the back at all! Only one edge of my roll had an adhesive, sometimes 1/2 the width, at some places only 1/3 of the width, and it was very weak. What did stick to my rug was no help whatsoever in keeping it from sliding around the hardwood floor. Completely useless product.

This tape works better than any I have ever used.

I received the tape and put it on my area rug . It works great and keeps the rug in place . Exactly what I was looking for!

Glue not sticking very well when attaching on the back of carpet. We’ll see how long it will stay.

For the price, you’d think it would actually somewhat work. It doesn’t. You can’t peel the cover off the adhesive without fighting it. It doesn’t! Tried numerous cutting numerous pieces. Finally manages to get one to peel away. Affixed to the area rug and to no one’s surprise, it doesn’t stick to the underside of the rug! Now if they could make a product that sticks as well to the tape adhesive… Don’t waste your money like I did.

Wishing I didn’t put as much on my rug as I did. Would have, should have returned it. It didn’t work to keep the rug from sliding on my wood or tiled floors. Package states adheres to all mats and rugs. This was true. Pkg also states for use over all hard surfaces. Sad that it made no difference in the rugs staying in place.

Bought this for a carpet in my entrance that is on my hardwood floor. I used the stuff that looks like the mesh shelf liner that works great but my cat kept pulling it out from under the rug to play with. The carpet feels secure when you walk on it (big plus) but does move around a bit with my vacuum robot at night. I am willing to straighten the carpet once in the morning so I don’t have to look at that pad sticking out from under the carpet all the time. Would have considered a higher rating if it weren’t so difficult to separate from the backing before applying to the rug.

I have rugs on a vinyl floor. I don't want them sliding around, but the dog has other ideas. Enter this product. I applied it per manufacturer's instructions. The adhesive seemed to not work well at first, but once I went over the tape with a J-roller (a key tool for good tape adhesion) the tape formed to the rug backing and stuck nicely. Once completed, the rugs want to stay in place, and the dog can't slide on them across the kitchen. I like that I can easily pick up and move the rug too.
