The saw is good so far. I don't use a lot. Just for small diy projects. It worked well for me. One misleading part is, I was thinking it has led cut line, but it just has a light which gives a little more light on your work surface.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tool for a home owner who likes to do DIY projects. The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t collect the saw dust very well, so there is a lot of clean up after use.

I have other Ryobi tools and am happy with them. This is the second Ryobi 10” miter saw I’ve purchased. Both had issues right from the start. The first one had a stripped screw when I went to align the fence, so couldn’t adjust it. It must have occurred at the factory. I replaced the saw (for the sake of a one cent screw). Now, I’ve made one cut with the new saw and the knob attached to the saw guard flew off along with the lock nut. (Another one cent flaw). I can’t attach the ring as it appears that part of the cheap plastic nipple has been shorn off as well. So now I have a saw that’s already falling apart and am now deciding whether to return this one and buy another brand or cross my fingers that nothing else happens.

Any where from 20 to 45 degree cuts both ways, blade adjustment being a breeze and the cutting being so swift. This saw is perfect for any pro or beginner alike. I didn’t receive this product free in return for a product review but I wish I did, I love it. It’s dependable and sturdy. I’d happily write reviews for free product, please ryobi put me on that list!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this three days ago to easily cut 4x4s and quickly build a new work table. This really does the trick.

I bought this yesterday. The saw is good. Cut a 4x4, 2x6 and a 5/4x6 with ease. The reason I gave a 4 stars is because of the saw bag which collects absolutely nothing.

I would have spent double to grab one an entrynlevel from any other major brand. This was a no brainer. Additionally, my miter saw came completely calibrated out of the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to quit borrowing my brothers “yellow” one. Does everything his does at 1/3 the price! The led cut line is fantastic! Much better than a laser. The 25T rip saw blade is good but I have a 40T ordered for a cleaner cut. I did a job in our bathroom with the 25T blade see photo. Cuts are spot on. Only one suggestion the blade break is slow to stop blade. Other than that it’s a great saw!

I chose to go with Ryobi again and I wasn't disappointed. The new saws LED is a great marker for making an accurate cut! Another great Roybi tool!

I went to the process of squaring everything, but the blade to the fence and to the miter table and it was square. The saw was easy to use for cross cuts and miter cuts. Great little saw for a fab price. I just finished my first project, an outside farm table with the help of my new 10" Ryobi mitre saw. I'm excited to collect more Ryobi tools for future projects.

I've been using a Rigid chop saw for years but obviously couldn't make accurate miter cuts so I broke down and bought this Ryobi one because I use Ryobi for everything else. The Rigid saw isy husband's and it was time to get my own. It's user-friendly and functions really well, and I understand having the need for the safety guard, but its awful. I struggle to see through it because it's more opaque then clear and I'm constantly tipping my head to the side because I want to see for myself where the blade is. I got used to working without one and having that guard is a hindrance to my view which to me defeats the purpose, so I find myself using it just for miter cuts and running back to the old guard less one to do the things I'm not supposed to do. At least they made it easy to pull the guard back with one-handed ease when necessary. I use my thumb to hold it up right next to the power handle and still have a free hand to position the wood.

I was cutting some firewood into chunks for my smoker. Blade caught in the wood and the force snapped the fence in half. After the fence snapped it hit the saw support and cracked the back of the table, Looking at the metal it is all cheap cast aluminum, which has basically zero tensile strength. I assume somewhere in the manual it says not to cut short pieces of wood, but a saw should be built strong enough to react out it's own forces. It's not like I dropped it, I was cutting a piece of wood.

Even if you only do small projects, you will not regret getting a Ryobi miter saw or any Ryobi product. I also got a brad nailer and I am impressed with both. I am a novice and I can use these without issue.
