NOT WORTH THE MONEY. It is VERY DIFFICULT to get this thing to work properly. Most of the time, the grass just piles up in the bottom of the tube and the whole thing gets clogged. The tube also tends to slip out of the basket lid, and the plastic is very weak. We've only used it about 5 times, and part of the connection at the bottom already broke. I'm super disappointed and wish I had just rigged my own bagger out of trash cans and plastic tubing.

It's usable with a few things can be improved. The tube is very easy to be clogged ; The cut grass always go to one of the bag and another is empty even the first one is supper full and heavy already. Sometimes one side is so heavy that the whole bag structure tiled and the tube came out of bag then my back was covered by grass; The little small yellow wheel outside of tube is supposed to spin when the tube is not clogged, but I've never ever seen it spin even the tube is clean.

Weak assembly instructions but awesome.
The provided bagging blades create a lot of wind current to push to the bagger; I have leaf drop year around from evergreen trees and I no longer need to run a blower after moving-- the grass clippings and leaves all got sucked in. Between the mower and bagger, I reduced my lawn care time by 75 percent!
The assembly instructions are cryptic; loosen the blade nuts by turning the same direction as the arrows on the blades. When assembling the mover cover, loosen the elastic first and flip the lid frame up to make it much easier. Insert the upper tube into the lid first, elastic inside the cover. Maybe all that is common sense to others but the diagram for socket direction (figure two) shows installing blades, not removing. They do tell you counter clockwise facing the bottom of the mower deck but 600-650 foot lbs of torque can make you second guess the relevance of figure 2:)

The lower tube does not match my mower. Maybe I ordered a wrong one? My mower just came in, it’s a 38 in. 48-V electric. Any idea?

Top dollar price but after install and use I can confirm good design, well made, and good function. The bagging/liftblades cut and mulch well. When doing autumn leaves it is a two step process. #1 disconnect bagger and replace tube with the original mulch deck discharge cover. Mulch leaves & cut at 3 or 3-1/2 inches. Then lower 1/2 inch and bag. At first I thought bags too small but the design fills them both well. Suggest slower drving speed when bagging a lot if material - - prevents discharge pipe clogging. The one install challenge is getting fabric bag unit cover onto the hinged frame, but once done can appreciate the durability etc. This mower cuts well and as manual suggests, does best with left turns (because of blade offset). I only bag for leaves cleanup.

Recommended wih caveat
The bagger is simple to install and works well. It should be noted that it widens the overall mower width so it will no longer fit through a standard 42 inch gate. However the bagger is easy to disconnect if needed. The blade change is more involved and will require a tourqe wrench. Overall I’m satisfied with the purchase.

30" Bagger for all electric
This worked well during a cut of my BY from abt 7-8" of grass to 3.5". It does fill the bag behind the riding position first then overflows to the bag on the chute side.
It saved me a stop and an unloading vs my old single blade 30" fueled, riding tractor.
Only downside is you need to watch the tube attachment, as it makes things wider, and it can be knocked loose if you hit something with the bagger chute.
I'll try to update my review this Fall after I use the 30" all electric to mow up the first leaf fall.

Seems to work well, but a bit tricky to assemble
This bagger picks up grass clippings cleanly, so I am assuming it also will handle leaves. The bags are lightweight and easy to remove and carry but are on the small side, compared with others I've had. The chute has a handy indicator to tell you when the bags are full. Bagging blades come in the package, which is a nice touch. Assembly took a while, with the hardest part lining up the rubber sleeves on the bag holder with the top of the frame. I would recommend removing the cutting deck on the mower and flipping it over so you can get to the blades. It's easy enough: just remove three hitch pins and unscrew two electrical cables. They easily reconnect when you're done. Be aware that you will need a 15mm, 9/16-inch, or 19/32-inch socket or wrench to remove the blade nuts, and also a block of wood to hold the blades in place. You might also need an extension on the wrench to apply enough torque to get the nuts loose. I used a 1-inch piece of PVC pipe. The instructions call for torquing the nuts to 600-650 in. lbs. But I don't have a torque wrench. So I did them hand-tight and gave them another twist or two with the wrench and pipe, so that they felt as snug as they were originally.

Is it worth $300? Absolutely not. But it does the job and it is the only option if you want/need to bag your clippings with the new Ryobi 30" rider. I have a young lawn that can't be mulched yet so I bought this product.
The bagging blades it comes with are sharp and create a powerful suction. Swapping the blades was a bit of a pain because the factory tightening of the stock blades was incredibly tight.
Overall 5 star product but 4 stars because of thre price/value of what you get.

Light weight and easy to use. The only difficulty we had was changing the blades out to the ones required for the bagging attachment. I absolutely LOVE this mower and it has made my life so much easier!
