Seems to spray instead of fogging. Noisy

I'm sure the machine was heard in New York from California. I NEVER USED IT. THE SOUND WAS THAT OF A TREE MULCHER OMG! RETURNED IMMEDIATELY.

A bit over priced. Not really a fogger. It sprays a mist but not convinced it penetrates bushes etc, all that much. Still glad I have it, but I was expecting it would make some, well fog. Also, only used it about 5x (between last summer and now) and when canister was almost empty, it started leaking on my hands just now. Might be my fault for tilting it. Other than that, I love it. :)

This fogger is total junk. I got it as a gift so I don’t have a receipt. Used twice. Leaks badly. I’m using the cutter fogger. Leaks more than it fogs. The email address Ryobi asks you to get in touch with them with does not work. It says undeliverable. Stay away from Ryobi and this fogger. Total useless junk.

Used this fogger twice and it started leaking badly. I used the recommended fogger from Home Depot and it ain’t cheap. Spilled more on the ground than what goes out as fog. Don’t buy this product.

The fogger/mister worked very well. It is a bit loud and looses suction at extreme up or down angles. Its ease of use allows for quick and efficient application. Easy cleanup.

Unit works well to disperse Organic Insecticide around my Home. i have a little over 10K sqft area, and the Battery lasted the whole time. Easy to load mixture and dilute. the Spray could be more Uniform and it sputters as it gets low. does not FOG well, but does Spray and Sputter well for Disbursement.

Personally I returned this device as it did neither fogging or misting correctly. I ended up going with a standard pump sprayer for mosquito control. The pump sprayer has a larger capacity and is silent, this thing sounded like a reciprocating saw.

Bought this to get rid of mosquitoes. Nothing but air comes out, even with just water. Unless I shake back and forth vigorously the entire time (even that only gets some fog out), nothing but air comes out. Huge bummer.

This seems way better than a a heated propane fogger. The solution is expelled in a fine mist instead of a fog that just blows away. this means is stick ro the shrubs that it comes into contact with and stays there.

Bought this unit no one in the store can tell me what I can use in the unit to kill mosquitos. I don't want all natural garlic crap.. I'm not service the bugs dinner I want them dead. Ryobi should have this info available on thier site and they do not!

This is exactly what we were looking for to knock down the flies on our small acreage farm. We can easily apply fly spray to a few head of cattle that we have and also fog their stall. Mixing is easy and works great around our small acreage farm. Would recommend this for anyone needing some help with fly control through the summer months in and around some livestock. Also just being able to knock down the mosquitos and other pests before sitting on the deck for the evening.

Clogged easily worked like crap

I wish I would have read more of the reviews before I wasted my money. So loud it may scare the insects away, but does not actually fog. Very dissapointed!

bought this a couple of years back, clogged after 2 uses, repair shop quoted a diagnostic fee higher than the cost of the tool. useless tool, useless warranty. I have been loyal to this company for 15 years, their hand tools have done well. Extremely disappointed with warranty service and quality of their newer tools. Chat support is a joke, just refers you to a company to charge you money to diagnose a problem that they caused by shoddy toolmaking.

Upon removing the fogger from the box I expected the same result I have had when purchasing my other Ryobi products. To put the fogger in service I charged the battery, mixed some expensive highly concentrated chemicals, filled the tank to the fill line, replaced the cap onto the pressure tank, dawned my PPE, aimed the device at my garden, pulled the trigger, and air only came from the device. Returned for a replacement unit and get only some fog output if I vigorously move the unit. Don’t buy!

This small machine carries lot of weight. I am very satisfied.

I purchased this fogger last year and it worked great. This year I started using it and I set it down and my wife noticed it was leaking from the top of the tank were it connects to the fogger. This was not worth the money if it’s gonna break in under a year.

Great product for our purposes. We did have to purchase an additional machine to have battery time. The entire machine was less money than just a battery so we now have two Fogger/Mister machines.

Yes it sprays. But does it get rid of mosquitoes? Maybe for about 30 mins. There is no point to purchase this.

I didn't know how well this would work. I'd looked at more expensive ones and decided to try this first. It has worked so far. I don't have any mosquitoes. And we had a ton last year. We live by a body of water and there is a lot of grass and plants next to our house. It feels like not a lot of liquid is coming out, but it is. If you move it back and forth as you spray it sprays a thicker mist. It is hard to spray low, like on a lawn or low plants. That's the only problem I have with it. Also, it uses a large Ryobi battery pretty quickly. So if you get the one with the small battery, it will do a small yard, but not a big one.

It worked OK for about three uses. Maybe sprayed 3-5 minutes each time. Then it started leaking the high dollar mosquito solution out the top of unit, apparently where the pump is located. When tank solutions get below 1/3 tank you have to hold sprayer a certain way to suck the solution from the tank or just blows air.

Fogs very, very little, mostly just squirts like a squirt gun which means it’s not going to get under any grass or foliage like a fog/mist would. I had a couple of different liquids that I tried and they had the same results, fog about the same amount of smoke as a lit cigarette and squirts liquid. Had to continually jiggle the tool to even get it to do that! Walking around squirting this around is a waste of time and energy. Disappointed by this item, can’t possibly recommend.

After the fourth or fifth time using this it started leaking all over the place when it was used. There seems to be a push-on connector that does not seat on the rubber hose properly. This will be returned.

The fogger started leaking on first use. I then had to take it to a warranty repair facility. after waiting weeks to get it back, it started leaking again after only a couple of uses.

This is my second fogger that leaks really bad. Like the other reviews state, I think it leaks more than it fogs.. :(... I need to look for my receipt...

One use test and that was enough. Fog output volume was minuscule. The tank is a half gallon and over half of an acre I struggled to get it to release half of that tank. Had to try to shake it to broadcast enough to attempt to make a wet spot on anything. Also sine you can only use water thickness liquids it rules out the quality product for larval and adult insects. I will be going to buy a stihl backpack Fogger today and just make the investment into something that works.

I bought this for spraying my small orchard. It sprays water fine but will clog instantly if you try to spray captan or sevin. I even ran my mix through a paint strainer with no luck. Wash it out and it sprays fine again. It is might be great for disinfectants but listing for herbicides, fungicides and insecticides is a bridge to far.
