For my double garage door I needed two kits. The foil needed to be trimmed which was simple with a pair of scissors. They provide small double sided adhesive pads that are supposed to be placed in the corners and one in the middle. I found this part to be a little tricks as my door has braces that the foil goes behind. I also used to silver tape for a couple of spots due to the nature of my doors. The job took a couple of hours and looks pretty reasonable. It is pretty hard to determine how well the reflective foil works. The garage seems to be cooler but how much is due to the foil and how much is weather I don't know. Since I installed it, there has not been much direct sun which is really what heated up the garage. But all in all if it helps it's worth it.

Cheap product but expensive for what it get. Do NOT recommend it at all.

Didn't quite fit a standard garage door. The panels were too narrow.

Can’t imagine that those little pieces of film could make much of a difference. I will be returning them.

Hopefully i will notice a difference in the summer.....

Would probably help keep garage cooler if the sun is directly hitting the garage door, otherwise it doesn't make much of a difference Wish I had researched a little more before I bought it.

The double sticky tape did not work of stick to metal door. I sued a spray adhesive that worked perfect

The "barrier" is only a thin aluminum like foil that does nothing to reduce the heat. Infact my garage temperature may have increased after I installed this. I wish I can get my money back to put better insulation. I had to give this one star only because I was not able to post this without the required field.

Installation was not difficult. Garage temperature does feel less hot here in FL. Good value for the cost.

If your garage gets too hot from the sun beating directly on the door(s), this inexpensive, easy to install product is well worth buying and using. The very next day after installing on my double (16') garage door in Arizona, the late afternoon temperature inside the garage dropped from 136 degrees without this insulation on one day down to 112 with this insulation the very next day - same daytime highs both days.

it works well and it was easy to install. I put it behind the Styrofoam insulation kit, so I expect it to work better this summer to block out the heat. the two combined make a really nice kit.

I just installed this product. I don't know how well it will work yet; but, I can tell you that the dimensions listed for the product are incorrect. The specs say the product comes in 24" by 48" panels. They are actually 22.5" by 48". As a result there was not enough product to cover the area they indicate that it should cover. Home Depot was good about this and provided a gift card for my trouble.

Very simple to install. Ideal for garage doors not thick enough for rigid foam insulation panels.

The Reach Barrier Garage Door Kit was easy to install, and it seems to be working as advertised. Our garage door faces west and we live in Central Texas, so with an aluminum door that's a lot of heat. These panels are helping keep things cooler. We did follow others reviews by augmenting the sticky squares with two sided tape.

They never give its R value of insulation. The product is so thin that it only covers the face of the garage door metal. Metal conducts heat and there is so much metal around the panel radiating heat into the garage. Virtually impossible to get the shiny aluminum foil flat so whole of inside surface looks crinkly.

Easy to use, goes up quick and made a big difference. Drop day time temp by 20 degrees.
