First my wife likes the rocking chair feature. It is narrow 36" is all width not seating area I have total of 2" on each side from hard wood frame. But does feel cheap if you use the arms to help get up the pads will come off without much pressure and you will fall. This is my 3rd lazy chair in 6 years 2 from different store brand same put together setup with put together hinges in back 1 of the 2 slide-in clamps breaks. Now to be fair I am tall and heavy at 315lbs .

TERRIBLE! THE BACK IS SHORT AND THE SEAT IS HIGH SO MY FEET BARELY TOUCH THE GROUND AND MY HEAD EXTENDS WAY BEYOND THE TOP OF THE BACK. I AM NOT SHORT BUT ON THE TALL SIDE. THE LOWER PART EXTENDS EASILY BUT WON'T GO BACK DOWN - I HAVE TO JUMP OVER THE SIDE OF THE CHAIR AND THEN FORCE THE BOTTOM TO CLOSE - WORST RECLINER I HAVE EVER SAT IN. THREE WEEKS AND NOT IMPROVING
