I purchased this unit for installation at 8500ft elevation. Unit works fantastic.

The water heater is easy to set up it’s a no brained all around good product

Just installed my second on a rental house, the one on my house was easy to install and has worked perfectly for 3 years. It needs to be wired to a 110 circuit to function. The remote is nice but in my case I never change it and would just as happy with the old style heater. The interior is full of large circuit boards and is much more complex than the 27 year old Bosch it replaced, but much more efficient without a pilot light.

I get cold sandwiches in the shower all the time. I don't know what the issue is. Rheem needs to fix this shi t.

We live out in PG&E land where electricity is very expensive. That being said, when my plumber suggested to me, after a water heater failure, that we look into a tank-less LP unit I seriously looked into it. It was a bit more expensive than a conventional water heater but I feel that I will save enough on my electric bill to more than make up for that. A conventional water heater runs almost constantly, on and off keeping that large tank of water hot and ready. A tank-less only burns gas when you open up the hot water faucet. I would have given this unit an Excellent but it takes the water a couple of gallons running to get hot. Everything else about this water heater are wonderful.

I replaced a Navien brand with this Rheem and couldn't be happier with the huge difference. Not near as noisy and water heats faster and hotter at the factory setting/

Installed single handed at remote cabin in about a day. Straightforward install, works great, all per instructions. Even runs off small (2 gal) LP tank. Only minor issues: Elect. J-box is way small, and knockouts just under size for PVC conduit.

This is the second one that I've used and I'm happy with the overall performance. And for the money, just over $700, a solid value.

Love these! I have a series of small cabins that we rent out and we use these for the cabins. 1 unit runs 3 cabins. I have 5 units. Love them! Easy to install (if you know plumbing and electrical), they work wonderfully, I can't say anything bad about them. I started with 1 unit, two years ago and now we have 5 of these. The $$ savings over traditional electric hot water heater have been huge.
