Metal rod with cheap plastic moving parts.
Had to return for a second time, both rods came with the same defect. The plastic pulley on the end of the rod has a broken tap not allowing it to stay in it's place. For a almost $300 rod, if the piece was not cheap plastic but instead metal it would a 5 star product.

String broke after less than a year of use
String broke inside the rod after less than a year of use. The break is inside the rod, so there really isn't any way to repair it. Based on what I see on the Rod Desyne website, this product does not come with a warranty, so we are out the cost of this thing. Absolute piece of junk, and they know it, hence why there's no warranty.

Instructions for changing it from a center draw to a right-to-left-side draw gets a 0. Terrible instructions for that!
