This is a pretty decent little shed. It took me about 3 or 4 hours to build a base and build the shed by myself. The directions are a bit lacking but most will be able to get through them without too much trouble. If you've got a buddy to help even better. The box is pretty large and a bit heavy but I maneuvered it by myself without issue. I recommend putting it on a platform for good measure and to add some weight to keep it from blowing away. I plan on build a proper shed in the near future so this only has to least a year or two but is handy given to footprint but overall storage capacity.

Most storage area with out being taller than our privacy fence. Went together quite easily in about 2 hours. Only complaint is the sliding door would hang up and not slide back which is a problem when you need to reach in to pull the door pin. Some shimming and trimming took care of that though. Overall worth the money.

Makes a good chicken coop
We bought this shed to make into a chicken coop. It is working well, and our guinea keets love it. Cutting a hole in the side was tough - we used a saws-all, because the wall is double thick, with air gap. The floor is not strong enough to support a person if the shed is raised up on cement blocks, so we put a line of supports down the middle and only go in there for cleaning.

This is the second Slide-Lid Resin Shed I have purchased. The first one about 7 years ago came with a door handle. This one did not even though the install holes were on the door. I called Rubbermaid and they say there is not a handle for the door. I ordered the door handle (part T) from the Rubbermaid 5' x 6' large vertical shed and it fit perfectly. Now I am happy with the new shed. The original shed I bought is still in great shape.

We've had this shed for about a month and so far are very happy with it! My husband and I assembled it together. The instructions were easy to understand and everything went together easily. The only additional help we needed was our very kind neighbor and his pickup truck. The shed comes in a VERY large box and weighs 177 lbs. Too big for a midsize sedan and midsize SUV.

Product is a good design concept but the lid catches and you have to lift up on the back to slide it open. Also the a couple of pieces were dented. The packaging needs improvement to prevent damage by the packing straps being to tight. You will need to set it on an anchored foundation preferably of wood so the anchoring screws with secure it and the floor does not bend do to being on an uneven surface. This product will blow away in strong winds if not anchored to a base.

Don’t underestimate assembly time and use two people. I spent time leveling the ground before starting and it paid off for me. Assembly isn’t “rocket science” but don’t expect it to snap together. It is the perfect solution for my yard and needs. Also, this version does not have a visible handle where it would be expected, but you really don’t need it... finish with a padlock and you’ll have a nice shed.

The size quoted for this shed (6' 6" by 5') is flat out wrong. Whether that is accidental or deliberate is a matter of conjecture. The actual size (from the assembly instructions) is 55" by 75" and those are the outside dimensions. Might not sound like much, but those 3 to 5 inches both ways very much limited what I could fit into it. That was especially true about the width. The product itself is decent, it fits below the sightline of a 6' privacy fence, so I didn't need to involve my HOA. It also works without extensive foundation preparation. The assembly takes a lot longer than you might imagine. It took me over 4 hours and I'm an engineer with carpentry experience. There are lots and lots of screws to install as well as some utterly bizarre directions, particularly as it concerned the back roof assembly and the support brackets. Glance ahead to the next page to see how they ultimately want those to look. Finally, you will need to drill out the holes before you set the screws and it's a good idea to assemble the floor in your garage or on some other flat, hard surface.

Fits a lawn tractor perfectly!
Bought this to store a John Deere 42” lawn tractor. Fits perfectly with about 8” of space on the side for extra tools to fit. Assembly is fairily easy just takes time and extra help to hold things in place.

Door Hinge Fracture
I bought two sheds last year. All four door hinges on the top snapped. I redesigned the hinge pivot plate, increased the top wall thickness and printed them out of polycarbonate. See photos for broken hinge brackets and new brackets.

I love this little shed. It fit perfect and serves it's purpose. I did however find a flaw in the manufacturing...one of the slide roof pieces was made slightly too small so I had to cut away some plastic to make the metal pieces fit. And I have to lift the the middle of the roof to slide it open, but I just look at that as extra security. That being said you will need some patience to put this together.

Gave only 4 stars because I had to cut a roof part that wasn't molded right, but other than that this shed is awesome! Super easy to build. I recommend instead of a drill bit for pilot holes, I just kept my Philip's bit and used it and friction to put a pilot dent/hole, then the screws went right in. I built it by myself and never got to a part where I need help, I bet even the bigger ones could be done by one person.

I bought is about a month ago for my lawnmower and gardening tools and equipment. It has worked great for me. The instructions were step-by-step and excellent. I am a 62 woman and I assembled it by myself in about 5 hours. The rollback roof is great for giving access to the inside of the shed. It is a robust, well-designed shed.

Nice looking, poor quality
We bought this shed a couple of years ago and have had to replace hinges constantly. They are always breaking! (see photos). The roof never slides easily and this year it completely came apart and now does not line up properly (see photos) I am so disappointed with this product.

Roof is warping
I have had this for a few years now. Over time the corners of the roof have begun to warp upwards. This places downpressure on the middle of the rear of the sliding roof, making it very difficult to push the roof back. I had been able to push down on the corners which would allow the roof to slide, but it is beyond that point now. Shed is level.

Extremely rugged
I began using this shed in 2014 as a place to store power tools on site while we were building our home. Not only does it keep things dry and secure, it survived a glancing blow from a very large tree that fell, and kept thousands of dollars in tools safe. It was moved to a new spot in the yard to house my lawn tractor, and this weeks blizzard dropped another tree on it. Not only did my tractor survive without a scratch, but my tools and tile saw are unscathed. The shed is a little more beat up this time and won't take another hit, but this is by far one of the most wonderful products I have ever owned. I'm including photos of the latest incident. Thank you for making this!

Nice thought - poor design
I bouth this at this beginning of spring last year.
The good: It looks NICE in the yard - doesn't look cheap or plastic, "hides" or blends in well. I like the IDEA of the roof sliding back to be able to easily access things in the back. It was fairly easy to assemble with some help to hold the pieces together tightly and properly aligned while I placed the screws. It seems to keep rain and snow out well.
The bad - It has now been approximately 6 months of ownership:
The doors no longer align with the hook to ensure it stays shut without quite a bit of finagling and playing with the sides. And yes I have this on a level surface. I could put up with this knowing that it is plastic, but...
The UGLY: And I mean ugly. Within approximately two weeks of ownership, the roof of this shed was visibly sagging which...prevents the front piece from sliding backwards. I knew that this had been a reviewed problem and so read through the intended solution on the website first, that the two pieces had to be aligned a certain way or the sagging would occur. I'm sorry, but I followed these directions to a T when assembled to make sure there were no gaps and that it made the correct angle -- and this sagging issue still occurs and blocks me from using one of the main listed features of this product and one of my main reasons for purchasing this shed over a tin/metal one. I should have listened to the others on this site. I wouldn't purchase until they've redesigned the roof issue.

I like this shed and am very happy with it now. I did find it more difficult to install based off of my space limitations. I had to build in place and had very little room. I would add 2 inches to the width of the shed to account for the roof if you also have space limitations. I had to cut some of my fence post to get the roof to slide (far left side of picture). I also had a couple issues where certain holes that were pre-drilled were not big enough for the bolts that were designed to go in there. It feels sturdy and i haven't had any leaks or anything even with a lot of snow on it. I have quite a few items in it. I have had the shed installed for about a month (1/20/2017).
