The doors won’t shut properly, they rub together when trying to shut them.

While I was assembling this cabinet, I found that the holes in the side, back and door pieces where the assembly poles slide through were not totally stamped out and I had to pry most of them off with pliers. All the parts are held together with these poles on the 4 corners and most were difficult to slide in (I used a rubber mallet). The poles also act as the door hinges which make for a lot of friction when opening or closing the doors. Once assembled, the doors do not align evenly and do not stay closed completely unless you put a pin through the holes in the door handles. I was disappointed because the Rubbermaid name was on this product.

Seems solid and functional. Assembly directions would have been good, the pictures don't let you know that the solid shelves go at the bottom and top, for instance. Had to un-assemble to change out bottom shelf.

Just purchased my second Rubbermaid Full Double Door Cabinet. I have had the first one for several years and needed more storage so purchased a second one. Putting it together is easy. Nice strong cabinet for storage in my garage right next to the first one.

This is the perfect cabinet for the shed we are building. It is super sturdy, great quality and has such a sleek design. It will organize all kinds of tools and my gardening supplies. It is huge on the inside without taking up a lot of room in the shed. The ability to lock it is an added bonus. The Rubbermaid brand is so reputable that I have no doubt that it will hold up for many years. It can't dent or rust. There are shelves that are tall and deep enough to store items in a variety of sizes/shapes. The easy, no-tool assembly makes this the perfect cabinet for a garage or other storage area. It is so attractive that it could be used in the house. I highly recommend this cabinet to keep your storage area looking neat while organizing your essentials inside.

Very easy to assemble and stronger then was expecting. Took about 15 minutes to assemble, would recommend using a rubber mallet to tap the poles in. Pretty strong and stable for being plastic, the shelves are stationary and give the unit more strength and stability. The thickness of the shelves can hold a decent amount of weight. It can be locked but would not stop a determined thief as the area around lock is thin plastic.

This Resin full double door cabinet was easy to assemble. There was two of us to make the job easier, but I am sure it can be put together easily by one person that is handy. The items are stacked nicely in the carton and easy to identify. Instructions have step-by- step instructions that make it easy to assemble. It says no tools necessary but we did find it useful to have a mallet on hand to get pieces together easier. It looks great and is very sturdy. It works great for storing my small appliances to free up room in my kitchen cabinets and giving me more storage for supplies.

This cabinet is LARGE with plenty of storage space. It is made with self- connecting panels and poles; even the doors connect by sliding on a pole. The only tool I used was a rubber mallet which I needed to get the poles through some of the panel holes which are stamped cut outs and some are very rough. I was able to assemble it by myself in about 60 minutes. There are 4 shelves approximately 14 inches apart. The only adjustment I will make is to add a make shift shelf to split one of the spaces into two 7 inch spaces for smaller items.

This has got to be one of the nest plastic storage units i have ever used. it is loaded with plenty of space for most of my tools. A whooping 27 cubic feet of space. Shelves are included. The doors shut very nicely and you can put a pad lock on it to keep the kids out. Easy tool free assembly. Guaranteed not to rust. This is a very sturdy unit considering it's size. I would recommend this to my friends any day of the week.

I needed more storage for my tools but this cabinet made a perfect place to store all of my kids' outdoor toys. 27 cubic feet and four shelves in a 36x72x18 cabinet make for a lot of storage for toys and games and balls and outdoor equipment. I like how it came easy to assemble without tools, and is resin plastic so that i do not have to paint or maintain it. It looks great as it is and will not rust or degrade and is even lockable. Highly recommended for anyone who needs reliable storage.

Does anyone know where I can get the hinge replacement?? I moved it and the hinge snapped off. It’s still good just that the door won’t stay put cuz the hinge broke.

The door hinges collapse making it hard to open. Each time I open the doors, there's binding and I'm not sure how long it's going to last.

Earlier today I assembled and reviewed a base cabinet which is the same as 1/2 of this unit and was unsatisfactory. The other one had several torn holes for tube installation ( I suspect that someone else returned it and Rubbermaid pawned it off on me) which causes faulty door operation. I had better luck on this unit. Some holes were off center and I had to recut them with a pocket knife but all in all this unit is satisfactory. Reading the other reviews it is clear that there was a production problem making the holes and Rubbermaid decided to ship out junk rather than going to the expense of reinspecting them or selling them as flawed at a reduced rate. I really expected better from Rubbermaid.

We have two rubbermaid cabinets that we bought several years ago and we were very pleased with them. About a month ago we bought two Full Double Door cabinets and we are extremely disappointed in the product. First of all when assembling them, there was no instructions which door should be on top or bottom and which door should be on the right or left ( not sure if that would make a difference or not). The main issue is the doors do not open smoothly at all, they are very rough and creaky and it takes several attempts to open them completely.

Bought this and returned it right after we opened it!

Overall the cabinet works for what I need it for (storage on a pool deck). The doors don't open and close as easily as I had hoped and the ability to lock the cabinet is weak at best.

Hinge holes apparently drilled off center! had to modify sides so doors cold open!

This finally got my tools in the garage organized and assembly, even for someone as mechanically challenge as me,was a snap.

Bought this a few weeks ago and just getting around to assembling it. Upon unpacking, finding that it was poorly packaged and some pieces are damaged/cracked. Also, no instuctions in the box and Rubbermaid.com has no instructions online. So, hopefully you can figure out how to assemble by looking a the photo of the assembled product.

I bought this particular cabinet for $200+ and it's missing pieces and it's not aligned. I am not happy. I hope that Rubbermaid will help me to fix this problem. Also Some of the pieces are bent. You can see a white line through the door like it was bent badly.

I bought this item because my parents have had theirs for almost, if not, over, 10 years. It's a great, durable product. We love it in the garage for car wash items and gardening stuff. It is quality made and easy to put together! Box did come damaged, but that may have been delivery guy.

Works for reason it was purchased but shoddy plastic finish and fits. Doors do not open smoothly. No comparison to Rubbermaid cabinet purchased 15 years ago.

My granddaughter put this together using the instructions on the outside of the box.

I bought one where the bottom fit perfectly but the top was out of alignment regardless of how many time it was put together . After contact with Rubbermaid and submitting photos of what was wrong, I received a replacement one within 1 week. This one went together perfectly with no problems whatsoever.

I bought three cabinets for basement storage. They do not require tools for assembly, but the assembly was not as easy as they made it sound. The pieces didn't fit together well and had to be forced into each other in some places. The plastic got bent pretty easily as well. We got the cabinets put together and they do seem pretty solid once they are assembled. The hinges are not smooth though, the pieces are rubbing against each other so that opening and closing is not as easy as you would think it would be. They will serve their purpose for us but I don't think I would buy them again.

I like the four doors and the fact that it is American made.

BOUGHT 2 OF THE LARGE CABINETS AND 1 SMALL. WHEN THE BOXES ARRIVED THEY WERE PRETTY TORN UP. THE BOXES PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE REINFORCED CORNERS AND EDGES. HOWEVER, THE RUBBERMADE CABINETS ARE STRONG AND THE RESIN IS VERY TOUGH AND THERE WAS NO DAMAGE. UPON ASSEMBLY THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON THE BOX. ONLY PICTORAL, NO INSTRUCTIONS. TAKES SOME STUDYING AND PATIENCE. WENT TO TOGETHER EASILY WITH A RUBBER MALLET. A LITTLE TRICKEY TRYING TO ALIGN THE MOLDED HINGES ON THE DOORS WHEN TAPING IN THE TUBES. A LITTLE TIME AND PATIENCE AND ALL GOES WELL. THE SHELVES ARE INCREDIABLY STRONG. ABOUT 2 INCHES THICK WITH SORT OF A HONEYCOMB DESIGN AND ARE INTEGERAL WITH THE CABINETS. NO CLIPS OR BRACKETS TO LOOSEN OR FALLL OFF. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THEY ARE NOT ADJUSTABLE. . THE DOORS ARE VERY WELL MADE WITH INTEGRAL HINGES. GREAT, NOTHING TO LOOSEN AND NO METAL TO RUST. HOWEVER, THEY DON’T SHUT TIGHT SOMETIMES. THESE CABINETS ARE NOT WATERPROOF SO FOR INSIDE USE ONLY. A REVIEWER STATED THAT BECAUSE OF THE STACKING CAPABILITY, THE TOPS HAVE OPEN AREAS AT THE CORNERS THAT COULD HARBOR BUGS. I MADE CARDBOARD COVERS AND GLUED THEM ON THE OPENINGS. WISH RUBERMAID OFFERED A SET OF CAPS TO DO THIS. ALL AND ALL I REALLY LIKE THESE CABINETS A LOT AND FELT THEY WERE A GOOD CHOICE.

This is our fifth Rubbermaid Full Double Door Cabinet. We have been very pleased for years with how well they hold up to storing products in the garage. This one we ordered for our son, and it arrived with a cracked and broken edge in the top shelf. Needed to put it together right away, so we did not want to return it. Maybe the plastic has been made thinner than before, Don't know. Otherwise, a good cabinet.

I purchased this cabinet for outside on our deck. It's larger than the previous one we had, but it is certainly not waterproof. I opened it up yesterday, only to find water on most of the shelves. It's nicely built, but we will probably put plastic over it to keep the inside dry.
