It didn't have a connection for the battery, so as to be permanently connection to battery.

no good if battery is low to begin with.
works fine on a fully charged battery but no good if battery is low to begin with. can not bring motorcycle up above 12.7 volts which is not enough to get my yamaha to turn over.
