I Got it July 2023, water started leaking on 2nd usage from the bottom of the pump in Dec 2023. Repair Co APW replaced the water rings seal and mentioned that heat could be a culprit if the machine was run without water, which wasn't the case, and found no issue/damage with the actual rings or pistons. Simpson doesn't warranty water seals irrespective of usage period. Simpson CS reps would not let me talk to a tech nor did they address the unreliable & sub standard product. I am really disappointed with Simpson.

I was impressed with the quality of the unit. The power and the various spray heads should meet all my residential needs. Initially I had a problem with the pump pressure cycling on and off. Contacted Simpson and they ask me to check the pump inlet screen filter. I checked and the screen filter was about 30% blocked. I clean the screen filter with a toothbrush. That solved the problem. Tech support said that’s typical when using city water. After that the unit worked behind my expectations.

I've had this washer for around 1.5 years of very light use. Today I went to stat it up and found several cracks in the pump manifold around the water inlet. Very disappointed, would not recommend or buy another Simpson product.

One of the best power washers ive seen. cleans patios so fast!!!! Siding is a cake walk for this unit.

I bought the SIMPSON MegaShot (Model # 60551 / MSH3125) just over a year ago on April 23, 2022 and used it only TWO times last year. It has been sitting in my garage since then. Today (May 20, 2023) I pulled it out to clean my back porch. When I connected the water supply to the water inlet, water started leaking everywhere from the pump outlet line. On close inspection (see photos) I could see a crack in the pump outlet! I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! This was a waste of $750 of my hard-earned money and now I'm stuck with a worthless piece of junk and an unfinished cleaning of my porch and I'm probably looking at a pricey repair if I decide to fix it! NOT RECOMMENDED!

Purchased about 2 1/2 years ago. Except for the fact that I periodically crank it and run it since its a gas engine, this thing is barely used. Went to crank it recently and when I attached the water hose, I noticed multiple pin holes spraying water. Of course the warranty has expired. How convenient. Disappointing after investing money into a Simpson machine. Will not spend money on a Simpson brand replacement part. I imagine the only quality part on this machine is the engine, which is Honda.

Light weight, powerful little monster, i can pick up and transport machine with no problem.

So far, so good. I've used this unit several times and it has performed flawlessly. This is my second power washer and this one is more robust with a heavier frame and tires. I've added a few features to save any strain on the pump housing while moving the washer around as you see in the picture. Also, use pump oil on a regular basis...

I searched over a month for a pressure cleaner, specifically for the ones with HONDA built engine, i would not buying any other unit or brand without Honda that's just from my experience with other units in the past. This unit is light to roll, durable it did the perfect job to clean my drive way and soon the roof and side of the house. This unit speaks for itself when you see close to 5k reviews V/S other brands & models you know it's a beast.

Make sure to read the manual and use a pump guard if it drops below freezing. I have used mine on the deck, siding, fence, sidewalk and multiple cars. Just make sure you use the correct nozzle or attachment and it should get the job done for your average homeowner. I had a manifold issue which ultimately came down to user error and they went above and beyond helping me out. Their customer service is top notch; give them a call if you have any issues.

Bolts broke out of pump after the second use. Had maybe a hours use and then the pump blew apart.

The pressure housing is so cheeply made that after 4 uses the casting developed multiple pin holes and won't hold pressure. See attached photo

I have had this pressure washer for a couple of years now and the pressure washer works great but it is extremely difficult to start. I'm the only one that can start. The problem is that the pull string is located a poor position. I can barely fit my hand in the small space. I often bang and cut my hand when trying to start it. The other thing is there is no place to brace the power washer while pulling the pull string. This result in the power washer moving instead of the pull string coming out. I have banged and cut my hands many times trying to start this. There are time where I cannot get it started. I'm not sure why they would put the pull string in such an awkward place.

This unit has served me incredibly well. I purchased this washer a couple of years ago and have washed for countless hours with it. It’s incredibly simple and easy to use, the Honda GC190 motor is unbreakable, maintenance and upkeep is a breeze and the interchangeable nozzle system works wonders. You can easily do anything from washing a car to restoring decades-old concrete in a flash. This unit does not come with a soap/detergent tank, it does come with a siphon hose for running detergent through the soap nozzle which is easy enough. I’d highly recommend purchasing a surface cleaner from Simpson if you’re planning on washing large areas of concrete, like driveways, patios and porches. Having a surface cleaner will shorten your washing time astronomically. A coworker has the exact same unit and has been using it for years, without error, as well. As far as residential work, this is top-notch performance. I’d recommend this unit to anyone.

I got it in April used it on the weekend, I loved it, didn’t have the oil issues in the packaging other reviewers had. I put it in my shed, went to use it this past weekend and had oil all over the stand and on my floor, I haven’t reached out to Simpson yet, but by some of the reviews I’ve read from people who have it doesn’t sound like it will do any good I’m hoping they stand by their product

New in box purchase. When unpacking the unit, the box, manual, unit and packing were covered in oil. Apparently, from reading other reviews, this isn’t uncommon. Haven’t used yet but will be looking for oil leak as well (based on other reviews). Somewhat disappointing based on “top rated” status and price point but we’ll see. Hope to hear from someone at Simpson regarding issue.

Brand new unit and oil is leaking from the engine. I am disappointed to say the least. Birthday present that has now become a hassle, not sure how to fix but for the price I don't think I should have this issue.

This unit run and cleans on a spectacular level. It arrived having leaked oil all over the unit, including the paperwork. Given that the unit is supposed to be shipped without oil, I wrote this off to them making a mess when draining the the oil to prepare for shipping. It turns out there was at least good 3oz left in the engine, and 1oz of it dripped all over the unit. I cleaned it up and used it three times. It started up, and cleaned very, very well....but it does have a slow drip, and that drip is in spots all over my pavers, not to mention the top of the frame where the engine sits. If i had to take a guess, I'd say it's leaking from the bolt on the oil pan. I tried to tighten it, but it only tightened minimally, and seemed very tight already. Very disappointing, given I spent the extra money on a Simpson so I WOULDN'T have these problems, and would have this unit for a very long time. Will take back this weekend, and hope this was just bad luck with a very good brand.

I have a Simpson pressure washer, owned for two years and used 3 -4 times for likely less than 10 hours. Yesterday, the pump blew apart! bearings, springs, etc all fell out. Called the mfg and was told a replacement pump could be purchased for $210. Once its out of warranty, they will not stand behind it! Stay away from Simpson pressure washers!

I love this thing. It has the power needed to do whatever pressure washing needs around the house. It cranks in a few pulls just have to make sure choke isn't pulled all the way out. Easy to maintenance and does a great clean on my driveway and fence. I definitely recommend and would buy again if needed.

After one year of use (5 hours run time), the pump housing developed pin holes and all the pressure escapes. Tried to resolve this obvious manufacturing failure with Simpson but the pump is only under warranty for one year. Noticed that this is a recurring problem with other reviews on the Simpson website. Buyer beware - this is a disposable pressure washer - you'll need another one every year. Simpson refused to post my review - I don't think they want this manufacturing failure to come to light.

So far so good. This is my first pressure washer so I’m still getting used to it. I did some cleans on my some of my fence and it worked very well. I also used it with floor accessory to clean my driveway and side walk. As a first timer it took me sometime to figure out how to start it and keep it going, but I think I’m doing fine now that I overcame that.

I did a lot of research & this appeared to be a great power washer. After an easy assembly, I put in the oil, gas & hooked up the water supple. I had a lot of trouble starting the unit. It was on & the choke open but after many pulls of the cord it finally kicked over. Finally!! I was power washing my deck for two minutes when the engine started shooting out flames. I ran inside & grabbed the extinguisher & put it out.So much for a “great” Honda engine. I brought it back to Home Depot & got my $409 back, I’m still upset by this experience.

Bought this a few months ago and used it to power wash my deck. I can't get over how well it worked. We were talking about redoing the entire deck, thank god we didn't! It looks brand new. We did replace the railings though.

Works amazing! Very easy to use, extra nozzles are firmly secured. Gentile enough to wash my car yet tough enough to make concrete look new with one swipe. Solid product, would recommend..

I've bought this pressure washer about a month ago and have used to two or three times. It's all the power I need for residential use. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that if you pull the choke all the way out then it will not start, but will start on second pull if choke is pulled 3/4 of way out. It will start on first pull once engine is warmed up. Does not leak on any of the water connections. Use pump saver everytime so no problem with pump as of yet. I would recommend. Make sure not to run engine for more than a few minutes while not spraying water otherwise it will run hot. I added a longer spray nozzle to operate surface cleaner without bending back.

Enjoying my Simpson power washer with the Honda engine. Excellent power and cleaning capabilities. My only criticism is the low handle which makes it a little difficult for taller people. I like that the handle can be removed for easy off season storage
