The door handle was purchased as a replacement for a broken handle that was cheaply made. The one I purchased and installed was of better quality than the one I replaced. It was very easy to install. The only thing that I had to do is see a locksmith and have it rekeyed, which was easy to do.

Outstanding product! Exactly what I needed and was hoping for. The lifetime warranty is is frosting on the cake…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I just changed all the locks on my house and added dead bolts to match . I practice what I preach as I install locks for customers and Schlage is always my go to product ! Easy to install, very well built and good looking as well !!

The levers are excellent quality, and was convenient to find them at HD so as to match the rest of the house. The downside is, product is advertised as two sets, however it is only two levers, not two sets of levers.

This lock auto unlocks if you open the door from the inside of the house which isn’t what I was looking for. It was easy to install and looks nice though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last week. The only thing I had an issue with is using it with a child safety device. When unlocked and the lever is pushed down from the outside the lever on the inside moves with it. This makes it impossible to leave a child safety device engaged without locking yourself out of the house with it. I know this doesn’t apply to everyone but just food for thought. Great product otherwise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve bought a lot of these over the past five years for three different properties. The last one we bought is in different packaging (cardboard box instead of plastic). It didn’t install as easily. It was very fiddly with thing not lining up. Due to looser tolerances? I remember installing 20-30 of these before relatively quickly and not having as much trouble with any of them.

The new door handles were installed in all three exterior doors (all being replaced) in our home. They look great, and they all share one key! Let Home Depot do the re-keying part for you as it's kind of tricky. I had professional door installers on-site to do it for me, but just doing an in-store pickup and simply asking for this during checkout or while browsing should suffice.
