I’ve been in the process of repainting, remodeling and upgrading light fixtures/fans etc. Although I have not redone the roundabout I had the opportunity to get this very attractive light. The brushed pine appearance is nice. This is one of the easiest lights I have ever installed. Ground wire, black (hot) and white (neutral). Once you mount it to the box there are two screws which extend, once adjusted in length, through the back of the fixture and has two chrome caps which tighten it to the wall. Simple, love the design and it uses a standard type “B” bulb. Should you desire a very affordable and attractive addition or upgrade this will be quite nice. It is 12” tall, 7” wide and 6” deep.

First of all, right out of the box I was disappointed. There are no glass panes with the sconce. Unfortunately that was hard to tell just by looking at the picture. It is a metal frame that has been painted to mimic rustic wood. However unless you’re standing far away from it you can tell it is not rustic wood. Second, the sticker that they put around the tube that holds a lightbulb is impossible to get off without leaving a residue all over the tube. And you can’t leave the sticker on there because it looks terrible. It would have been better had they just used a paper tag with the string tied to the metal tube with the information necessary. Lastly, when taking the item out of the box, it is wrapped in a plastic bag. As soon as I took the item out of the bag there is some sort of sand or dirt or other debris, (not sure what it is), that got all over my floor, my kitchen counter, in my kitchen sink. Every time I would tip this thing over this debris was falling out everywhere. I also noticed a pile of it in the bottom of the plastic bag that was wrapped around the sconce. I’m afraid this is one product I will not be able to use, nor can I recommend it. For the price of this item I expected much better quality.

Easy to install. Very sturdy construction

It took me awhile to find the right place to put this fixture, but once I did, it's received more "where did you get that!" comments than any other fixture we have installed. When you open the box you'll notice it's packaged well, and built just short of military grade. IT'S SOLID. You'll want a well installed J-box to hang this on. Installation is a snap. They provide the color matched nuts so as not too detract from the painted finish. When we are working on properties, we spend a lot of time looking at higher end model homes to get design, appliance, cabinet and fixture ideas. I was not surprised to see this fixture in several $2,000,000+ models. This design is trending and it's easy to see why, it's clean and the perfect balance of light and presence. I used a warm LED bulb at first but switched to a bulb just short of daylight to not washout the hand finish. It looks beautiful. I am going to give this one five stars across the board. Well packaged, solid build, high quality wiring, beautiful finish and easy to install. I'll be buying more of these, I can see them in a lot of applications.

Poor quality and even worse service from Sea Gull Lighting. Save yourself time and money by buying something else.

The Moffet Street 1-Light Washed Pine Sconce is a nice light fixture overall and if you are considering this there are somethings that you need to know to make an informed purchase decision. The light fixture is made of steel with a finish that makes it look like washed pine. The item is NOT pine! The description on the HD website for this light is contradictory as it's listed as "damp rated" and '" dry rated" so which is it?? I imagine that it's OK to use this light for protected outdoor use as there are no glass panels that will protect the light bulb and socket from the elements so, unless this is under a porch or a large and deep eve, I don't recommend this for outdoor usage where it will be exposed to the elements. Clearly it can be mounted indoors however this is a rather large fixture and it uses the smaller E12 candelabra bulbs so be aware of the overall proportions of it and plan accordingly. I thinks it's a rather expensive fixture in my opinion considering that there are no glass panels and the bulb is exposed.

Very nice sconce. Note that this is an open sconce, no glass in the frame. It's good for a "rustic" feel. The main con is being open with so many corners and edges, it is no doubt a dust/cob web magnet. But that is to say a very small con right? Very easy install, basic electrical. Obviously recommend someone who is familiar with electrical to put it in.
