Quiet, picks up nicely on all surfaces, long cord, good value at $199 sale price.Better roller sticks and needs manual manipulation to engage at times, cord can get in way, filter removal ackward.Unit pulls you along.

It is light weight and the suction is great

This vacuum is frankly a bit of a disappointment. While the suction is wonderful, the design is not so great - controls are clunky (on/off button not on handle), the power beater jams easily on area rugs, button to remove the dustbin is tiny and hard to find and the vacuum is heavy.

This seems to a good small vacuum built well out of good materials but it needs a little longer hose.

Wow! This vacuum has some power behind it! I actually have everyone that visits try it. They have all been impressed.

Awesome vacuum! Maneuvering is super easy and lift away is substantially better than our original navigator. Attachments are also upgraded and practical especially the dusting wands.

We like even better than the first shark that came out a few years ago

My wife and I tested it with a pile of corn flakes. Sucked the pile down with 1 quick pass.....we are extremely impressed so far. I have 3 long haired daughters at home so I really like how easy it is to get to the roller so i can remove the large amount of hair.

As an extreme allergy sufferer, I typically fear vacuuming since it launches all the things that could cause issues into the air. This vacuum does a fantastic job of actually filtering what it stirs up! Additionally, it's incredibly quiet and does an amazing job of getting dirt up!

Have to clean the brush rollers every time after, very difficult to use on stairs even with lift away.

We've had numerous vaccum cleaners from Dyson to Shark by far this is the best one so far only had it for a month keeping our fingers crossed that this works for a long time

Very powerful! And I love all the different modes (handle, wand, lift away) that make it so easy to clean every nook and cranny! With washable filters, I also save a lot of money!

Just used it a few times but love the way it works for all my needs.

It was awesome the first few times I used it but now my daughter was vacuuming and accidentally sucked up a sock in the machine and I'm day two of still trying to remove it. I called customer service and the solution they gave was to get a wire ( wire hanger ) I'm guessing and push it through. Well that may work if the hose didn't have a bend on it and wasntvdo long. I don't even know what to do at this point I'm so frustrated my whole house needs to be vacuumed and getting more perturbed by the minute.

Pros: - Powered/tilt head makes vacuuming a snap - front light for seeing into dark places - lift away vac for small jobs/car detailing - significantly better suction than our old Dyson - Easy access to bristles to clean out hair/string - dual action carpet/hard surface switches from top of handle - extra cleaning tools and accessories Cons: - Accessories do not attach to vacuum - dust canister seems to fill up very quickly, could be bigger - non-retractable cord Overall: - big step up from our old Dyson and 1/2 the price ... 5 stars!

The instruction book says to clean the foam filter after 3 months. I did only a very small section of carpet. When I emptied the dust container, the foam filter was loaded with fire dust. This baby is so powerful it just HAD to have a new, clean filter. Fortunately I had bought a set of filters the day I ordered the Apex, so I could go forward without a hitch. With the new filter, a week later I cleaned the same small area plus a small area of wood floor, and the foam filters were just as in need of cleaning. Since the foam filters protect the motor, I plan to check and clean them each time and maybe clean them. My old vac gave up awhile ago, so I expect it will be some time until I'll feel safe waiting 3 months between clean foam filter changes. Go Shark Apex!

Great suction. Lighter and has more maneuverability than my old SHARK vacuum. Absolutely love the floor cleaner bar.

This vacuum is powerful and the duo clean technology cleans my ceramic tile floors very well. Excellent on my carpet. Love it!
