It cleaned my floor quite well and the best part is that it doesn’t take forever for the floor to dry like with standard mopping. It’s also very light weight so easy to take up and down to other floors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to review and am very pleased. It it very lightweight and easy to use. The swivel head is great and it pulls itself as the roller turns. It really did a great job on all my hard floors. I was surprised at the color of the dirty water as I didn't think my floors were that dirty. I really like the self cleaning feature. Just set it on the base and turn it on and it cleans the roller. You can take it out to clean it you prefer too. Shark products never disappoint! I love this awesome machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HydroVac. The Pros: This item was a breeze to set up. Basically 3 pieces that went together in a very logical and straightforward manner. The instructions are nicely attached to the handle and since there are only two modes it was nice to have the reminder of whether it was a rug or bare floor. The clean water tank was well made and didn’t leak, again it was intuitive to take out and put back. The dirty water tank was also well made and easy to clean. The HydroVac moves very nicely along the floor and reminds me bit of a self-driving lawnmower in that it pulls itself along as it cleans. It did a great job pulling dirt from a rug that had just been traditionally cleaned with a beater-vac. The Cons: Maybe it’s just me, but I was of the impression the HydroVac would be a replacement for my traditional vacuum, but that would not be practical in my situation. This is very much an “in addition to” vacuuming device. There are no hoses or attachments. I also found the cleaning solution to have a very strong oder and though it dissipated eventually I couldn’t help but feel like I was putting a chemical coating on all my floors and rugs. Overall a 4.5 star rating. A more neutral chemical smell and a more clear marketing description would give a 5 star rating. If sold as a light-duty rug clearer/floor scrubber this would be a solid winner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not like housework especially cleaning floors, but the Shark Hydrovac makes it a breeze. It is lightweight, easy to use and smart. The first time I used it it stopped working. The blinking light indicated the clean water tank needed to be filled. I love this feature, it also blinks if the dirty water needs to be emptied. I was shocked at the amount of dirt, mostly cat hair, that was removed. My laminate floors lokk so much better. I love the Shark Hydrovac.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical at first, but as it turns out this the Shark HydroVac does a nice job at cleaning floors. I used it on my hard wood floors and the unit worked. I was concerned that it would be too wet. But there's just enough moisture to clean the floors and they were dry in no time.

I bought this item because I wanted a simple one stop vac/sweep alternative, that replaced the need for broom and mop! I am amazed and pleasantly surprised at the work the Shark Vac performed on my multi-surfaced floors. I was able to vacuum my rugs, hardwood and ceramic floors then easily switch parts to cleanse! Great item for multi surface floors and does a really good job! I can now perform vacuuming/sweeping and moping in a short period of time without use of mop and broom and extras needed to do each job! Happy with purchase!

I used it on my small area rug we keep at the front door and it got up all the stains from my kids running in and out and tracking in all the dirt! Happy to add this to my cleaning arsenal!

It has a powerful suction. This one is corded and has a 25ft cord. It has a antimicrobial brush roll that helps prevent odor and bacterial growth.

I tried it out immediately on my hardwood floors and area rugs. My floors now shine and there are no streaks left like some cleaners leave. It vacuums and mops all at once so definitely is a time saver. It's self cleaning which is also a plus. I'm impressed with it.

It is a one-step process to shiny, beautiful floors. We use it on hardwood and laminate and it works great on both. The cleaning solution makes the house smell so good. It comes with a stand to keep the floor dry where you store it. It’s easy to clean—I clean it each time I use it. Such a great vacuum/stream cleaner!

A Golden retriever and two cats keep the floor a constant struggle to keep the hair and smudges at bay. It was always sweeping and then some kind of wet mop day after day. This Shark HydroVac takes care of the mess in one operation. Good product that we really needed.

I use it for a spot cleaner on my living room carpet since I have a toddler and it tends to collect stains a lot from juice and food. It does a very good job of cleaning stains! I also use it to “mop” my kitchen floor when I don’t feeling like manual mopping and it cleans my plank floors excellent! My only complain is if you have pets like we do and long hair the roller does clog up pretty easily even after you do a cleaning cycle on it. So you do have to clean the roller a lot but it’s definitely worth it.

I’m still getting through the user manual to learn about all the features, but so far I’ve tried out the vacuum. I’m a big fan of shark vacuums and this one didn’t disappoint. The suction was great on both hardwood and carpet. Long cord made it easy to maneuver. I have a shark steam mop that I sometimes use which I really like so I do have high hopes for the mop feature on this one.

It was taking ages to do my chores! I tried the Shark HydroVac and I'm very pleased. It was very simple to assemble. The directions were very clear. Once assembled, it was very easy to get it up and running. I did my kitchen first and WOW!! Such clean floors. It picked up all the debris and mopped right behind it, getting all the tiny spills we made with our coffee. There were some tough spots, yet the hydrovac got them up as well. As for afterward and cleaning it up, it was easy! All you have to do is pull one piece out, pull the filter, dump the debris, and then wash it out with water. The roller is super easy to get out so you can give it a clean as well. I love this and I sure wish I'd had one when we were growing up!!! Oh, and it's better than others when it swivels, because it doesn't take a lot of wrist movement to get it to move in tight spots!!! It's easy to maneuver with just one hand as well. I love that it does a self clean, too! That also makes my job in the house so much easier and done so much faster! I'm ENJOYING doing the sweeping and mopping NOW!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this floor cleaner. I have used other replacement floor cleaners time and time again. This Shark Hydrovac is absolutely amazing. Filled up the water and solution. Started off in my back hardwood floor and then moved to the timed front basement floor. Went to clean the reservoir catch and OMG. The dirty water said it all. My floor WAS A MESS. It pulled up stuff that I never knew was there. Supper easy and really an easy unit to maneuver and the self cleaning function is the best part of all. So great.
