Hellu Mb21, This is Colin from Simpson Strong-Tie. Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to see your experience with our interior grade JB26 did not meet your expectations. The stirrup for this top flange hanger measurers 1-9/16" Wide and from the bottom of the seat to the top bend line the Height is 5-3/8". Above the bend there are " strength embossments" so that a kiln dried 2x6 joist (1-1/2"x 5-1/2" should rise about an 1/8" of an inch above the bend line and approximately flush with the top of the embossments.
