Great and Bright little light worth the money

It needs both batteries to operate, don't think this a rechargeable battery with an extra battery. It isn't.

Bought this because we were told how good they were. The light is super bright but a set of batteries only lasts like 3 days. I’m not even using it constantly. Batteries have all been the recommended batteries

Make sure to read the ‘programming’ instructions to get the modes you want. Excellent product with considerable attention to detail in the machining and finish. The ‘High’ brightness is obnoxiously bright but what I want for it’s purpose. Caution: it is not a shirt pocket light—a bit big. I have its sister, the 600 lumen and it’s excellent too with a smaller overall body.

Killer lite just needs to be rechargeable. Thought I got it with charger but it didn’t have one .

Its a Great Flashlight the only regret I have I should of bought the rechargeable one, actually I thought I did.., buy extra batteries if you use it everyday. i only have had the light for a week and already used a set of batteries (not cheep) $11.00bucks for two..

This is the best light for its size. Awesome candela. Great when mounted to a belt or put in a laptop bag. A bit large to fit in a hip pocket, but could work in a cargo pocket.This version is cheaper but I'd get the one with the rechargeable 18650 Battey if I could do it over.

Poorly designed as it is very difficult to get it to change modes or to stay lit. In the process of assembling and trying out the continuous high, low and strobe modes the flashlight became hotter and hotter -it was too warm to hold in just a few minutes! The instructions state many times the high risk of explosion with what seems like normal use. This product is not worth the high price and not worth the risk of the batteries exploding.

I have been using a Streamlight ProTac 2L-X daily for nearly three years now and have been very happy with it. The ProTac HLX is twice as bright and not much larger in size. I use a 18650 Li-ion battery in each flashlight. Run time is exceptional and I charge the batteries usually once per month.

Yes I use the light daily for my job. Home Depot had it at the lowest price around.

This is a great light and even better when it's on sale. I had no problem changing the programs even though I'm older and my hands are a little numb. After trying all 3 programs I went back to the default as I want high beam on the first click. I do wish it had a 4th program of High-Medium-Low, more useful to me than the strobe, but this is a tactical light for police, military, home security... so I think their default program is the right choice - and did I mention it's easy to change.

Very good flashlight, own different light from streamlight , I like the programs easy o program desired intensity or modes ,very bright at over 27000 candelas , can’t go wrong with it for such a small package

This is a very well built flashlight and very bright for it's compact size. On those two points I would rate it a 10. But that's where the accolades end. I own a number of Streamlight products and they're great. But this one is a complete design disaster and I'm referring to their "Ten Tap" programming design failure which is why I am rating it 1 star. The light is shipped with factory light beam setting modes of High - Strobe - Low, as opposed to Low - Medium - High. Given that each "program" allows only three light intensity settings, it would seem to me that 95% of the people on the planet would opt for the Low- Medium - High modes. So why not ship it that way? More importantly, their "Ten Tap" system does NOT work as described. Why? Because it's t impossible to tap the button ten times in less than 1/2 second between taps while holding the light in an awkward position. If your finger move even slightly off center, you're done! I know, I've tried getting it right for a week! THAT is supposed to be the way to reprogram the light to ones own preference. Steamlight really messed up on this one! It's gone back..
