Requires plastic screw covers! It pulls away from the wall EASILY.

Bought this gate for top of the stairs for my granddaughter. Relatively simple to install however decided to mount above the trim work at the top of the stairs. This is mistake, my granddaughter promptly crawled right under where what we though was too small of a gap. Moved it down using the spacers supplied and so far so good. Looks great and easy to use.

Great look and easy to use. Glad I bought it. Set up is a little involved but super strong with the right fasteners for wall or doorway type.

When installing this, make sure the connector peice is higher (off the floor by about 1/2 inch) before installing so that the mess is even and doesnt wrinkle

Our Maltese scratched at it and went under it. Cost almost $100 and it’s not useful.

This product should not be sold. This gate is not only a danger to babies it is the most inconvenient gate I have ever used. I have 4 children, my youngest is who we purchased this gate for. We wanted something that would reach across our oversized opening to the living room. Big mistake, this gate rapidly retracts slapping the plastic into you (hurts too). It is an absolute pain to close and open, and it can come open on its own with enough pressure. The screen, does not retract right, and ends up creasing and wearing in that spot after less than a week of use indicates that it will eventually tear. I am very disappointed in this product as we will, no doubt, have to buy a different one. Do not waste you money! Or energy.

Easy to install, durable materials. It's a little hard to pull and clip, and when it releases you have to be sure to hold it or it will retract very quickly and can snap you.

For the price I'm slightly disappointed. Seems our gate wasn't fabricated correctly. The retractable portion wasn't rolled up square so now the top of the gate has a handful of "wrinkles." I've tried pulling the gate all the way out and back in but it's still slightly off. If it was square I would've given it 5 stars.

Although this is a spendid idea, it is not sturdy, and does not work at the stairway if there are not two walls. Had to return.

This was easy to install and good quality

Not difficult to mount but closing the gate occasionally results with a loud bang as it doesn’t easily fasten and then slams shut on its own.

Excellent product. It gives you the ability to not have a full time gate but still the functionality to keeps kids and dogs off of the stairs.

Love it! Worked perfect to gate my dogs :).

It helps to have an extra set of hands when installing this, but the installation was easy and straightforward. Both our puppy and new granddaughter will be well protected.

Very Good Unit. Easy to install, worked well. I purchased this to divide the kitchen from the living room for when my grandchildren, 1 and 3, where coming to visit for a week. Very easy to install and worked smoothly. Very effective barrier for the children, their little dog, not so much, little sucker could squeeze underneath even though i had it all the way to the floor. As far as the children went very effective, they could still see through it and it was able to hold up to them pulling down on the top of the netting without it detaching from the locking post, or damaging the unit till we got them trained not to do that. The 1 year old quickly learned how to open the locking tab, but could not depress the release switch, to release the tension of the netting, so the safety worked well. So overall i would recommend this unit.

This retractable gate, was very easy to install & easy to use. We Live it!

I had got this gate to replace a different gate. For the location where it was to be installed, it proved too hard to open with one hand. If you have a base board, this comes with spacers.
