It's built similar to the old Sunbeam humidifier I grew up with. That one put out really great moisture, but yes, if you didn't monitor it would saturate. This is the same with the disc inside. It puts out decent moisture and does not over saturate. However, I did wish it put out a bit more, & was a bit bigger to hold more. For the price & size it's perfect for now though. I haven't found any other that I really liked.

Example: I bought this a month ago and am so happy I did.

Was not as powerful at spitting out mist as my daughter’s 20 year old one but was a heck of a lot quieter - a good trade off! BTW, hers was a Sunbeam also.

Bought 1 a year ago and another a month ago. With a split level house, one is in the upstairs bedroom, the other in the downstairs family room in the driest time of winter. Keeps the house humidity at around 35% even when the weather is -19 degrees outside, with the furnace and the AprilAire running fulltime. There is some white noise when running these, we tune it out. Easy to refill, cleaning as per instructions. Definitely more comfortable indoors with these running. We have great tap water, if not use filtered water of some sort.

Not very small as expected, loud, not quiet. Bulky..thought it would be more quiet, have an on/off switch, u just plug in to run. Disappointed

It really works the it is suppose to . my wife needed it to help with her breathing at night and it helps her to sleep better at night .

I bought this product about a month ago and it works. But the air coming out the top is super heated. No warning labels to say that it does. Burned my hand bad on the top. Be careful when around this product

Just bought this and thought maybe I set it up wrong because there is no misting....until I read the reviews and everyone said the exact same thing! It's also noisy! I will be returning this! Not even worth the money

I bought this a few weeks ago and it has worked just fine. It is a little noisy but I don't even hear it most times. We have it on an end table between our two couches, pretty close to us, and even watching TV I don't notice the noise. It kicks out a lot of vapor and I refill it about every two days, but that doesn't bother me and was expected due to the small tank. I will say that the top gets a little hot, so when you go to refill it, unplug it for a bit first before you touch it. Overall, I would recommend.

I just got mine for my younger daughter, but it seems that there's no mistake coming out or its too little... I don't know how I can make the mist came out tru the entire room? Please help.....

I've had units similar before. They would go thru their water in one night- which is a good thing. This unit, and I have 2 of them, takes several nights to put out the same amount of water.

The product worked good at first and had a 1 year guarantee. It stopped working and not sure how to get it replaced as the place where purchased would only give a 30 day return.
