I purchased 26 of these bulbs for my new home. I haven't moved in yet but I have been able to install the hub and play around a little bit with them. Right now I have a few bulbs that have lost their connection to the hub so I need to figure that out once I move in but overall I'm quite happy with the bulbs. It solved my wife's major dilemma of what temperature light to have in various common rooms. Plus I like the idea of being able to program the bulbs with my hub and alarm system to have the house turn on all the lights and turn them red if the alarm goes off. There are so many things you can do with these bulbs. The attached photo was of me testing in my current home before installing at the new house.

Great light, Super easy to setup with Wink Hub. First impression, out of the box, looks like another light bulb. Has a little weight to it like most good electronics. Plugged it in and within less than a minute it was set up on my Wink Hub 2 ready to go. Much easier than many other products I have installed at my house. Full color and brightness control through the hub without the need for any other third party application. I am very pleased with this light. Also works with my Google Assistant, could ask for it to be any better. Zigbee is the way to go. No messy wifi settings or confusion. This is simple and easy.

This was my first foray into a Smart Device and there was a bit to learn. As with all network devices, communication is the key. Smart devices typically work on 1 of 2 protocols: ZigBee or Z-Wave. Granted, some Smart Devices work on Bluetooth but that's an inefficient use of a protocol intended for dedicated data streaming. ZigBee and Z-Wave are meant for the lower capacity and bandwidth needs of smart device management. This is definitely a bulb you don't just screw in and flip the switch. So, picked up a Samsung hub and installed the SmartThings app on my iPhone. Configuration was a little clunky but turning the iPhone on and off helped, as was just putting it aside for a few hours. That single hub can control hundreds of different devices. So once set up, you can add a multitude of different devices to do many things from thermostats, water/leak detectors, appliances, garage doors (did I close that door when i left?), etc. Anyway, once set up, the bulb is pretty cool. As a white light, it falls in the cool white category (2700k). With the app, you can pick any color you want: red to pink, green, teal, blue to purple. Each color dims so your greens, for example, range from light to Kelly green to a forest green. Schedules can also be set up; we currently have the light set to come on at sunset with a light blue and fade off at about 11. Fun toy.

Selected this SMART+ ZIGBEE FULL COLOR BR30 LED SMART LIGHT BULB as our initial foray into smart home lighting and with a bit of perseverance and help from our tech savvy kids, we were able to incorporate it with our Amazon echo dot and is now active and operational. Requires a compatible hub (we decided on a Wink hub) and of course an App download to my smart phone and voila, it works great. It has 3 different 'mood' colors to choose from which in my opinion is a nice ambiance selective option but I'm not sure it will be used as often as we like. Will definitely add more smart bulbs throughout our house as it becomes more and more normalized living in today's homes.

I ordered the Sylvania Smart+ LED light bulb from HomeDepot.com, and it arrived on time and was well packaged. This light bulb is pretty cool. First off, it's 11 Watts which is equivalent to about a 60 Watt Incandescent bulb, and it needs a hub to talk to. We have the Wink Hub in our house that we already use for the garage door and the main entrance door. Once connected to the Wink Hub, I can remotely change the color of the light, and I can dim and brighten the light. I can also choose the warmth of the light, from a warm yellowish reading light to a bright white Daylight light. This little bulb is pretty cool. Also, connecting this light bulb to our Wink Hub couldn't have been easier. Once screwed into the light socket and turned on, all you have to do is launch the Wink app, and follow the directions for adding a light bulb.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a way to connect my carport light to my smart home system and was pleased to discover the Sylvania Smart BR30+. The bulb is a flood light, but fit perfectly in my fixture. Instead of using the android app that was recommended in the instructions, I decided to link this bulb with my existing smart home system so that the functionality could be integrated into my established routines. I use the Wink app and it was a breeze to add the Sylvania light into it. It took about 30 seconds, the light blinked a few times, and then it was ready to go. I had Alexa discover the new light from Wink and could control the light with my voice as well. I was very pleased to discover that no only could I turn the light on and off using Alexa, I could also control the color! "Alexa, set side door light to pink," was all it took. Of course, the kids discovered this ability and it's like a case of the fairies on Sleeping Beauty (make it blue; make it pink). I also used the Wink app to set up some routines with the light. It turns on and off automatically with daylight hours, when it senses arrival of our phones after a certain time of night, it turns on at changes to red and dimmed (so as not to wake the kids with a harsh, bright light). I am overall very pleased with this light. I can't yet speak to the longevity of the bulb as I've only used it for a week, but it seems like we will get great life from this smart bulb. This is definitely a light that I would recommend. This was so much easier than the other smart lights that I own that involved changing the light switches and 20 times faster to install.

The product is not very responsive. Bulbs will not always change colors when prompted to. Had to replace product with better system

Doesn't work as advertised!

I was not told at the time I ordered that I would need a hub for this particular brand. The hub cost more than the bulb and I have just not had the funds to purchase it. I wish I had known going in that this was the case. I didn't and had not my due diligence, so, I consider it to be my fault as well as the manufacturer for not making it more clear. So, I am left with no clear experience of the bulb. I'll post more after I get the hub for the light. Fortunately the hub handles several of their devices.

Apparently this only works with an Apple operating system, and we have Android. Soon as I find someone with an Apple iphone I will post another review. They reportedly have a full spectrum of color and I would suppose they work like the ones I have seen in the past. Download the app for full control over the color spectrum and intensity, Maybe I will go but an Ipad.

This light has the potential to be very cool and offer energy savings benefits. This light is dimmable and multi color and has the ability to set on a timer or even access from anywhere. My major issue with this light is it is only able to be accessed this through a hub. If there was away to circumvent this and use through Apple homes or Alexa without a hub would be a game changer for this light.

Wow... I like this bulb a lot. I'm a seasonal type of person so I replaced this over my kitchen sink. At night I'm able to schedule the bulb to be a highlight color according to season. It's almost St. Patrick's day so it's green. East I'll set it to a pastel and then something patriotic for the summer holidays, not sure yet. Was easy to add this to my Wink app and go! Great Bulb!

Connected to my Echo Plus on the first try. With the Echo Plus, there is no need for a hub. The bulb can be turned on, off, dimmed and the color changed all via Alexa or the Alexa app. I find that the colors of these Lightify bulbs are richer (deeper) than those of the popular brand. This bulb fades in and out similarly too when turned on or off. I don't use scenes from Lightify or from the other bulb brand I own so I can't speak to which is better in that department, but setup and use via Echo Plus is easy.

I didn't realize a hub was required, so I returned it. I'd probably go with Phillips is I were to install a system.

To use the app, you need the hub to scan the QR code before you can create an account. I have Samsung Smartthing hub so I can bypass the app and add it to my Samsung account directly. With that, it works with Alexa as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy and simple it is to operate the SYLVANIA SMART+ BR30 Full Color LED Bulb. You can change the color and it makes for relaxing mood. I find it easy to use with the Wink hub which you need to connect with and download the app on my iPhone so as to be able to operate the light remotely. It has different colors and can be changed easily. I think it is a great light bulb and I would buy this product and I found it to be a better product than the regular light bulbs on the market. I had not heard of this bulb before I was offer it by Viewpoints sampling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this bulb in my hallway wjere the is not a lot of light. Im so glad i did. It was brighter than the typical light bulb i usually use. It does not put off a lot of heat. It is a great bulb.

I like the color changes as well. Its awesome. I would buy this for sure and it is great. I was not aware of this bulb before i got this one. I would definity recommend it
