All I needed was the one side of the connector for three of my trailers, every other store you had to buy BOTH SIDES!

A purchased trailer usually comes with lights and the needed plug, that's different with some bike racks for the trailer hitch. In my case the bikes obstruct the lights enough that I wanted to install extra lights. For that I needed a 4 pole flat plug. The 12 inches of wire are not enough to reach anywhere, so you have to extend them. When you split the flat wires, you will find that on the center two the insulation rips off, rather than splitting in the middle. To prevent this from happening you have to cut with a razor blade between the wires.

I have 5 trailers of various sizes that have these 4 way connectors. They all get used often, sometimes heavily, so trailer connectors are usually replaced on one of them every year for one reason or another. This is a good quality ends and connector with enough wire to easily replace an existing one. I always keep an extra around. This one is a winner.

This is your basic four-wire trailer connector for running brake, parking, left turn signal, and right turn signal lights to your trailer. Nothing fancy here with purpose, but quality is very good. the connector seems sealed very well from weather and the wires are well protected from the elements. I wired mine up to my truck's collapsible soft top third brake light. I wanted to be able to plug in the brake light fast and easy when using the top, but not pulling a trailer. Very quick and convenient!

It’s that time of year again. Time to drag out the trailer and make sure all is well. This four prong flat connector was necessary. It is a one piece molded plug. The wire connections are tight. No need to worry about that. The wire is about twelve inches long. This is typically enough length to get you where you need to be. This plug is a solid option and priced competitively. I would recommend it to a friend and maybe more importantly, I would buy another if I needed it.

It worked great. It was compatible for my rig easy easy install no issues at all.

I got my trailer lights back working again.

Could be longer but it was all they had.

Mark at the Home Depot in Durango was beyond helpful in demonstrating and explaining the process to fix the wiring for the hitch.

This is by far the best 4 pin trailer connector ever. It's pins insert almost effortlessly, yet command the friction to ensure a secure connection. The tinned copper ends on the wires are like little jewels just waiting to be secured to the harness. All in all, this thing is fantastic.

The connection to the truck is easy and perfect. My old connector that cam with trailer had a broken green wire that eliminated right passenger lights and right turn signal. I tried to repair the one wire but couldn't and didn't want to rewire entire trailer so took a chance, had to cut "all" wires and splice them. Worked great
