The carpet squares I took out of the box bore little resemblance to the lush, but understated squares depicted on the front of the box. I was sorely disappointed to find only the drabbest colors and patterns in that box -- not cool and fashionable, but strictly corporate grays and browns. No fun muted patterns, but cold office-type fare. The quality seems good enough for my situation, but I won't find out for certain because I'm returning it. It's a sad, but not unexpected attempt on the TrafficMaster company's part to even try to fleece their means of support, namely: the purchaser. Don't bother.

It was easy to install. I love the patterns. It looks great in my garage. Lots of compliments.

They are exactly 24"x 24", everyone of them. Come is several different colors and styles. Could have more colors actually. Some have a rubber back, some a plastic back and some no back but all need more tape to hold them down. Each comes with only 2 thin strips of tape to hold them down. If the cut size it right the tape may get cut off. Buy some 2 sided carpet tape, several rolls and use it well. Our room took 2 rolls. Good product but could be better. Worked for what we needed and looks great installed. We purchased 7 boxes and opened them all and spewed them all out to pick and choose the right color and design of the square we wanted. They went in a arts and craft room and the idea is if a square gets paint or glue or something on it we can simply replace the square. Would buy again.

This was an easy to install solution to the ugly concrete floor in my rental house basement. I loved how easy it was. You do need a sharp knife with extra blades and some double sided tape. I do wish I had some knee pads. I was sore the next day. It's been a week and I'm seriously considering using these in another room. I will definitely buy again when the time is right. A great value and fun look.

We opted to use this TrafficMaster assorted carpet tiles in our Class A motorcoach since we still appreciate carpet for looks and feel. Incredibly easy to install and easy tile replacement if one ever gets damaged.

My wife and I were searching for a way to warm up our ceramic tiled basement at our Northern Minnesota cabin. We came across these interesting carpet squares. It met our desire for an economical improvement that we could do ourselves. We are NOT professional DIY'ers by any means, and felt this was a bit daunting for our skill level. We decided to go for it, and boy are we glad we did. We purchased a good carpet cutter with extra blades (learned that always having a sharp blade made any necessary cutting much easier and more exact), a "t-square", and two sided carpet tape (used sparingly to give us peace of mind in the higher traffic areas). The end result was that we added some warmth and charm to our otherwise plain, cold basement. Hindsight being 2020, some knee pads for this '50 something' couple may have been a good choice!!!!

I had this installed. The hardest part was deciding how to arrange the squares. My handyman used extra tape. I think the floor is great for a basement playroom. The floor has been down 1 week today. Most of the tiles are neutral. Not much variation in the few color tiles.

My unfinished basement project includes these. Great idea. I laid them without sticking them first. We are painting first but i just wanted to see what the 5 boxes would have. Unfortunately, I got quite a few blue pieces and one bright piece. You don’t know what you’re going to get so don’t base it on the photo. Plan on a lot of neutrals and blues

The floor tiles were simple to install and easy to cut. Make sure you find the middle of the room to start. At first when I opened up all the boxes I was nervous to see at the different colors and textures of carpet but as I was putting it down it just made the room look like it just had a color explosion exactly what I needed. Make sure you have good carpet razor. I did buy a few rolls of double sided carpet tape and used it when needed. Vacuums well overall I am thrilled with the out come. and the best thing if something gets spilled you just pop it up and put another down!

We put these tiles down in 3 bedrooms, a hallway, and a living room and I couldn't be more pleased with them. Out of 24 or 25 boxes, only maybe 8 tiles had a pile height too tall to use with the rest. That's okay though because we used those tiles in a closet that was built over an old porch foundation so the sub floor is 1/4 inch lower than the rest of the house. That helped to even it out a bit. They would've been perfectly fine used under furniture or in a corner of one of the rooms too. The tile assortment was great. Some of them were really fun and funky and some more mute but they all came together really well. The pictures don't do justice because they look so so so much better in person. When we told people that we were going to carpet the whole house with varied carpet tiles they thought we were absolutely nuts. Now they all love it. Installation was easy as well. All you need is a good utility knife with plenty of extra blades, a tape measure, a good straight edge like a t-square or maybe a yard stick, and a pencil. We did use a little extra double sided carpet tape in high traffic areas just for a little added peace of mind but it probably would've been fine without it. One of my biggest concerns was if it would hold during vacuuming as well as with 3 cats that like to scratch the floor. It's done beautifully with both. The carpet has been down now for probably two months and it still looks just as it did when we put it down even after daily vacuuming. Sometimes twice a day. It hasn't frayed at all where the cuts butt up to the tile or in the door ways. Overall, excellent product. The price is great, they're easy to install, so far they've stood up to a bit of wear and tear, and they're neat looking. Also, if you spill something that won't come out you can just pull a tile up and put a new one down. Buy one extra box than you think you'll need and hide any tiles that you don't like under the furniture too.

This is the beat! Easy to install, durable, and I love the various tiles! Everyone who sees it likes it. I also like the fact that I can change out any tiles that get damages, although nine have been yet. I put them in my two bedrooms and used them to replace some old carpet on my garage stairs. The thick rubber backing works as a great insulator. They clean up very well, even dog puke.

We ordered 6 boxes. Strangley one box had half the tiles with a different backing that made the tiles higher than the rest. Will be returning. But the product is easy to install and looks great. Would be nice if it has a few more strips of adhesive. 3 per tile is odd for then being so long. Need to purchase extra carpet tape or adhesive.

I was skeptical at first, but after installing 275 sq. feet of these tiles in our basement in a little under 5 hours with 0 experience or skill, I am very pleased! The hardest part was cutting the border tiles. That alone took about 4 hours itself. I only used the tape on a couple of tiles just to see how it looked. I ran a vacuum over it and nothing moved so wht bother with that. The only thing I don’t like is the different thicknesses of some of the tiles, other than that great product!

I always read the bad reviews first and decide to buy based on those complaints so this is an answer to the bad reviews. 1) These tiles are assorted and I assume are cut from leftovers. Out of the 6 boxes (60 tiles) purchased, 2 tiles were scratchy outside carpet and 8 tiles were more foam like and not even carpet. The backing varied greatly and so did depth of the tile. I got a few that were higher grade thicker tiles and they set higher than the surrounding pieces. 2) this is NOT high grade plush carpet pieces, think of the cheaper thinner stuff you find in office buildings. Some reviews were upset this carpet was not soft... some pieces were but overall it was not. 3) the adhesive backing is not great. Buy yourself additional tape to use on the corners. Also, some of the pieces had original tags on the back and when I took that off the adhesive came off with it. *** These will not stick to sub-flooring unless it was sealed, do not waste your time even trying unless you buy glue. I laid mine on concrete and the adhesive strips barely worked. 4) Overall these were exactly 24x24 inches, a few pieces seemed to be a little off but overall this did not impact how it looked in the room. 5) most of these tiles were basic grays and browns with a few loud colors thrown in. I was fine with the color assortment. Overall this was the cheapest and easiest way for me to cover up the concrete floor. I was extremely happy with this product but do not expect a two thousand dollar outcome for $200 tiles. I would recommend unboxing everything first to sort out the oddballs pieces to place in doorways and/or closets. Also, buy additional carpet tape.

I got these to replace the carpet in a finished basement that flooded. They were easy to install, look great, and will be cheap and easy to replace if the basement ever gets wet again. Very happy with these!

Installed this in my laundry room. very easy to install. I like the look too. overall a fun easy project.

Out of the 6 boxes i received only one tile of carpet was damaged. I got it because i thought it was peel and stick. It is, but there's three very thin layers on the carpet tile that are adhesive and the rest of the carpet is not.. I recommend if you do buy this carpet to buy a adhesive to put under the carpet tiles, especially if it's going to be walks on. Other than that the tile itself isn't bad at all. I didnt get many bright colors in my order but over all i am satisfied with what i got.

I used these on laminate and slick tile to help my elderly dog that was slipping and falling on it. I am confident they will stay put even without being wall to wall. I also made an imitation area rug with the extra and put them on top of a non slip backing (with out the adhesive) and they stay put like that as well. My only complaint is that several of the tiles in different boxes were missing the rubber backing and just had the adhesive applied to a felt like backing. I thought these would slip more so I didn't use them. Since I didn't need all of them I didn't want to return a whole box but still I paid for them so that was annoying.

I needed flooring for my home office and I am so happy with this carpet. I laid the tiles myself and To my surprise they came out really good. I have had no problems with lifting or shifting they look nice and I Am happy.

Easy to do. And looooved all the different prints. Just wished there would have been more glue/tape on each square.

Overall happy with product and price. Bought 6 boxes, had a couple patterns with 5 pieces, several with 3-4 duplicates, and quite a few unique patterns or only 2 of the pattern. Better mix than I was expecting. Most of them are very similar in thickness, one pattern slightly thicker and one thinner. Used for home gym where mismatched tiles adds a fun spin and thickness difference causing no issues with equipment imbalance and can’t really tell walking across room. Mixture of gray/blue/brown/green tones. Some random blue and red tiles. Two thin strips of tape holding each tile, will see how they hold up

I love this carpet. I have placed it directly over my ugly laminated flooring. Some tiles needs extra hour behind it to stick a little better, we just dab some gorilla glue on run with it. I have alot of traffic in and out the house so this helped with keeping my upkeep simple. I live how each box of tile is different, so it like Christmas opening the boxes. My delivery was on time and we have ordered about 5 times from Home Depot. (not sure how many boxes we would need, or how much of the house we was going to do) .even the cat loves it.worka well with my grey sectional. Places in living room and dining room.

I installed the Carpet Tiles in my Home Theater and they look great. These tiles are very easy to cut and lay down. I totally recommend them. I have received so many compliments

Very easy to install and the final product looked great.

My original order was 15 cases. Out of the 15 cases there were approx 10-15 tiles that were not carpet, but rather a synthetic/foam like material. We did not use them. I ended up ordering another case to compensate. Outside of this issue, the project was a great success. A great alt. to wall to wall

These squares were used on my concrete basement floor and worked very well. My only complaint is that I expected more designs other than the striped patterns. The variety of colors was to my satisfaction.
