Love it. The laminate color dark brown hickory are beautiful floor. I need 35 cases more in order to match the other Hallway and bedrooms. I already installed in the floor in the hallway and four bedrooms but one bedroom has not finished the floor, needs 35 cases of traffic master dark brown hand-scraped Hickory laminate wood flooring. Cause out stocks

LOVED it then, still LOVE it now!
Hubby installed in our kitchen/dining room, he's rather handy so it seemed easy enough. I am here to tell you about the look and wear. We installed May of 2014 and all I have done is sponge wipe spots and dust mop it weekly. I LOVE it. The hickory worn look is fabulous, but I took home the sample piece way before we installed and lived with it on the floor. I tried to scratch with my keys, I wanted to see about shine (cuz too much and dust shows), we decided to go ahead and I LOVE it. Now I'm trying to talk hubby in to putting it in other rooms. I highly recommend.

Descent flooring, fairly easy to install
We have used this 12mm flooring in 5 homes already. It looks great and is fairly easy to install. Clients love it when paired with light yellow walls and white 6" trim

Worth the hassle
Installed in our living room and dining room over 700 sq feet with 20 degree angles to work with. Read the instructions before install. We found out we did not need to put the moister barrier because its a sub floor not concrete and opt out. Not something to do with your wife also... lots of issues with it not seating correctly. Over all after the cussing and sweat it turned out great. 12 hours of hard work and it looks amazing. I am a IT profession and was able to do this DIY with my wife.

Wonderful product, wonderful value.
Just finished installing the Farmstead Hickory laminate flooring in my kitchen. I have worked with laminate flooring on many different occasions, this was by far the best experience I have ever had. Installation was easy and quick. The flooring was an exceptional value, and it looks beautiful. I will definitely use this product on future projects.

Fantastic flooring value!! Looks great
This flooring is an overall great value at 1.29 sq ft. The look of this floor once down is equal to floors costing $4 sq ft. Since putting this down in a bedroom I've bought more for the dining room and will be doing the master bedroom soon. Install is a little tricky but after the first couple of rows all went smooth.

BEAUTIFUL FLOORING!
We installed this in our dining room and it's GORGEOUS! It's sturdy, thick flooring with a beautiful look. We previously installed TrafficMaster's Saratoga flooring (which we also loved) and expected the installation to be the same. But this product is much more difficult to install compared to the other version. We expected the sides to click together, but it takes a significant amount of pounding to beat these boards together! I would recommend a piece of 2x4 (rather than the block from the install kit) to pound the board ends together. Also, make sure you pad your pull bar (we used a piece of underlayment) to prevent scratching the surface when you bang the sides in. It does cut easily with a chop saw and table saw (using carbide blades). We are thrilled with the final result - it looks just like real hand-scraped wood!

Best DIY floor EVER!
Having never put down any kind of flooring, my husband and I were a little worried at first. That said, by the end, this flooring was literally a snap to install. We opted for a diagonal installation (yes, that was bold for first timers,) and could not be happier with the results. There was very little waste, although we were careful to use the trimmed planks on the opposite wall, we had enough left over to take care of an additional bedroom downstairs. For installation, we did "pre-condition" each plank by laying it in place and giving it a quick slide in the previous row's "groove" before proceeding (it helped deburr flanges and smoothed the saw-cut edges for a clean, unencumbered lock.) We also soon learned that for a diagonal floating floor, it was easier to connect the entire length of a row end to end, first, and then place the entire connected length of planks into the prior row groove, and click-snap the whole row at once. We did the complete installation with just a compound 10" sliding miter saw, and a little portable jigsaw. The compliments have not stopped, and folks cannot believe it is not real wood! This laminate has the texture and handscraped look matching the wood pattern it has printed on it. GORGEOUS!!!

Love this floor
We purchased this flooring over a year ago and had someone install it for us. So I can't comment on the installation, but as far as the quality, it's great for the price. We have 4 kids (all under 7), and 3 pets (1 dog 2 cats).... as far as reading the reviews regarding 'not to get this product if you have pets or kids' I disagree. Our dog has had an accident and it did buckle a small amount, which was disappointing, but that will happen with any type of laminate or wood flooring, and the fact we didn't see it till several hours later. Other then that, we have had a great experience with this floor. It doesn't get scratches as others have commented on in their reviews. It is super easy to clean up if there is a spill.

Did not purchase
This product was not in stock at our local HD. We bought a box and had it shipped to the house as a sample. We found it to be inferior to other samples we had picked out. Granted the price was 30-40 cents cheaper per sq. foot, we still opted for a competitors' flooring.

Amazing Value
We LOVE our new floor. It wasn't super easy to click in, but once we got the hang of it, it went pretty quickly. The look is great - it looks high quality, but you can't beat the price! So far, all spills have wiped up without a problem and there are no scratches or dents (even with a dog, cat, and rabbit). Great purchase. Very pleased.

we love this floor
we love the look this floor has for our home, this is our first experience with laminate flooring and so far it is a good one. We had it professionally installed, as we did not have the tools to install it and we are somewhat older. They did a great job and the installer also commented on the quality and value of the product. LOVE the look of this floor

Better to walk on than ceramic tile
This 12mm thick flooring was easier to install but still difficult for two people to install on the longer runs. As soon as you lift 30 degrees to lock in place the earlier segment un-couples.

QUALITY PRODUCT...LOOKS RICH
Excellent product for the price...I have used it in over 6 projects and very happy with look and installation ease. ONE negative is that twice ,when it was delivered to store it was DAMAGED...and it took almost 2 weeks to get it replaced...so make sure you order extra as it can be very timely if you need to complete project in timely fashion!

Don't buy if you have dogs or kids!
Product looks good as long as it stays completely dry! My dog had an accident in the house while I was gone and it completely ruined my floor! I understand it is laminate, but I would think it would be a little water resistant! NOPE, it is not!. Don't buy if you have dogs or kids!

Great flooring
We put this in our living room and hallways. We are musicians and have rolled very heavy gear across the floor many, many times and not a scratch or mark. We have three very playful large Pit Bulls running around on it and no scratches or marks. We will be putting this in the bedrooms also. Great flooring.

Still loving my floors
We have now had these floors for about 16 months and they still look brand new. With 3 children,a dog and a pool we are pretty hard on our flooring and have been very pleased with the durability. The installation is somewhat difficult and my husband had to get a few friends to help since we did about 75% of our floors in one week.

Poor Quality
I purchased and installed over 1200sq feet of this flooring. The floor looks nice and seems to be very sturdy, but cannot hold up to daily use. Installation was typical, I have installed many types of laminate flooring. There was nothing particularly difficult about this flooring, though there were a couple boards that simply wouldn't click into place.
After installation the floor seemed great until my 6 pound puppy had an accident on the floor, I noticed the 3" puddle within a half hour of it being there and when I went to wipe it up I realized the floor had buckled at the joints.
I have had the floor for over a year now and there are 5 or 6 spots where small amounts of liquid have been on the floor and have resulted in highly noticeable warping. I chose laminate flooring because I didn't want a simple spill to ruin my carpet, but instead it is ruining my laminate.
I have a different type of laminate installed downstairs, it has seen the same use and has been subject to the same accidents, but it has shown no signs of warping. It seems to repel liquid rather than absorb it into the cracks.
Moral of the story, if you have kids and pets and your floor may be exposed to small amounts of liquid, avoid this flooring, it soaks liquid up like a sponge!
