This shiplap is very easy to install and finished walls look great. Please note: You do need to cull through the individual boards, like you do most lumber. Some are really curved and bowed. Also, we bought 20 boards from Lenoir City and needed more so we went to the Oak Ridge store and bought 20 more. Half way through the install on two walls that met in a corner, we realized the boards weren't the same width and therefore the shiplap "cracks" weren't lined up by more than 1/4". We thought it was our recently tiled floor was uneven. Finally we discovered it was the actual shiplap want the same width. The Lenoir City was a true 5" and Oak Ridge was 4.75". We finally got it fixed by removing and staggering the two batches to get the same width in each wall. The nurses from Oak Ridge has a label on the back for a Behr paint formula called Bar wood White that the paint department was able to mix so we could have touch up or trim paint. It matched perfectly.

Absolutely poor quality product. This is NOT "Barn" or "Rough Cut" shiplap. I have to sand ALL of the boards as true rough cut shiplap has a circluar cut pattern, this is just rough, nasty lumber. Which means I also have to repaint all of it and the paint is even poorly done. Every board is also warpped, crowned, and poor end cut. If I could return all of it I would, but not possible at this point. I WILL NOT buy another UFP product again and neither should you! Especially given the price!

Looks more like siding it's warped so bad. I have ordered 3 other ship laps in different colors from Home Depot and this stuff was just the worst ever. My master bedroom should be the nicest looking of all the rooms, and instead my contractor had a hard time nailing it to the wall because of the warped boards. I should have stopped her and I should have returned the product. I'm completely dissatisfied with the look of my wall in the master bedroom.

This one definitely is the nicest of the shiplap we have ordered. We ordered our different options from the home Depot. The color is definitely on the yellow side but is nice and looks the best.

Installed all three color options (white, gray, brown) as a floor for a new shed. The brown appears to be the highest quality of the three with uniform measurements and less bowing. The white and gray fluctuated in size. Important because this is a tongue-and-groove application; the goal is tight seams. More expensive than other options but achieved the desired aesthetic.

This wood was perfect for us because it was well priced, it came in long planks, and it was pre-finished. It took my husband and I about one day to do the wall, and another day to add the trim around the jamb. Make sure you let it acclimate and be prepared to have this stuff warp a little after it’s up. To me that’s part of the look and it’s fine. Also, get an extra box. Lots of pieces had damage from shipping with splits on the corners. Overall we are happy and love the new vibe in the room

Extremely happy of the outcome. We used these to cover an ugly tiled ceiling. Now our ceiling looks much better and we did not even need a layer of paint!

This product was super easy to install. Each piece was very beautiful.....but....the color charcoal and actually looks more like a dark brown. We will paint it so that it appears more like the store picture. We preferred the rough side, but both sides can be used.

Wife was away on activation and she talked about wanting some walls done in shiplap. So I decided to do this project well she was gone. Was going to use 12 ft pieces but after seeing them they where warped and twisted. So went to 8 foot pieces. It took awhile to sort through them to find nice straight ones with no major flaws. I got them home let them warm up for a day and installed them with trim boards. Went up easy and used my brad nailer and liquid nail in a few areas.Word of warning though. They say 1x6x8 board. Yes they are just under 6 inches wide, but with the lips on both sides they coverage is only 4 1/2 inches. I only learned when I was almost done , and I was a couple boards short. I though I had 12 inches of height coverage with two boards when you really only get 9 inches of coverage. I also stopped in the paint department and has a small sampler color made up to do touch up and paint and cut ends. It looks amazing.

Exactly board for porch signs. I love it and yhe price is very good.

This shiplap is beautiful, and we'll manufactured in its look. Occasionally I found boards that are bowed or slightly undeveloped. it's not hard to work around, but I do reccomend being prepared to make adjustments. With all that said I still love this product.

The shiplap was very good quality. Most of the pieces were perfect and made the installation of my shiplap wall easy and this is the first time I’ve done this. The color was consistent and my only suggestion for anybody wanting to install shiplap is definitely get the nail gun. I got the Ryobi cordless 16 gauge finish nailer and I’m super glad I did.

This ship-lap was perfect for an accent wall in our bedroom. Light Brown was a little darker than pictured but it turned out terrific. Be sure the use the "face size" for figuring out your sq footage because of the overlap. Despite others complaining about warping and cupping, I let my lumber acclimate to the room environment for several days before installing it (as directed in the instructions) and had no problems. I figured sq footage estimate well over because of some comments about waste. I had absolutely NO waste other than trimmings. I have about six or seven full lengths leftover..... I guess I will have to find another project to use them on. Great product!

I love the looks of this. However after getting our walls half done we noticed that it’s not all white. It’s really disappointing. Now we have some white and the rest of the white is yellow looking. And it was ordered all at the same time as suggested

The boards are solid and stain really well! They are going to look amazing when I get them up! They were of a different cut (rougher) than the 4ft boards I bought from this company, so I'm having to sand them down before staining! But the product is great!

Harder to work with than normal shiplap but the rustic look is worth it!

This product looks exactly as you would expect it to from the description. Just a couple of things to consider. The boards can be warped and twisted but with the right tools and a two people, you can make it work. The biggest issue I had with it is that there is no way to these boards are six inches wide. At best, by my measurement, they are shy of 5 and 3/4 inches wide. Even without gapping, which adds to the look of the finished product, you will need more than 2 boards per foot of elevation on your wall. I would have still bought them had I known, but would have bought more than my customary 10% overage to accommodate. As it was, I just required a second trip to HD to pick up what I need. The finished affect is really nice. Finally, if you want a solid install, invest in a stud finder and mark you studs from top to bottom. This allows for a lot fewer nails used during install.

We made an online purchase for these shiplap boards, and picked it up at the local store. We ordered 34 boards total. About 10 or so boards were textured on one side as described, the others were not. So, we were forced to use the non-textured side to make the product/look work. We tried calling the local store, but there wasn't anything they could offer since we already began the accent wall. I thought that was odd. The boards also had a bunch of random holes in them which is not described on the website. The look still worked out well (see pics) but the product certainly was not as described, and the store did not provide any assistance. I would just be extremely cautious before purchasing this product without seeing it first.
