Although the unit indicated it was fully charged (all 3 lights on after charging for several hours), as soon as we connected it to the car battery the charging indicator lights decreased to 'Low' in less than 30 seconds. This is before we even attempted to start the car. Returning back to the store as defective.

I bought the product because of all the features it advertised. Literally took out of the box...dead. Charged it took about 6 hours to charge, was going to use it 3 days later...charged it again, took a day...dead. Charged it again...dead the next day. Complete waste of time and money...tried going back to the store, but since I didnt have the box they wouldnt take it back. 170 to just sit in my garage.

Vector 700, The portable car battery
I had a car that was draining the battery nightly and I couldn't figure out why and I couldn't go anywhere without a jump start. Charging this every night let me get at least 3 starts on one charge (didn't test it out too much, I wasn't wanting to get stranded).
I used this mostly on a 2.5L 5 cylinder with a dead battery and the car would start right up.
I also successfully used it on a V6 Toyota venza and a V8 Chevy Express Van.

Doesn’t charge.
I bought this as a replacement jump starter I had before. This was the first Vector I’ve ever bought and will be the last. You get what you pay for. My phone charging cord is ten times heavier than the cord used to charge this unit. I’ve owned three jump starters over the years and the one thing they all had in common was the outdoor type extension cord needed to charge the unit. Any how I had this one plugged in for over two days and barely had the power to run the compressor. When the battery test button was pushed to check charge status it never moved off of the first light. If you buy this unit I hope you have better luck. Maybe I just got the lemon.
