I’d like to modify my previous review. After revisiting the app a couple months later, there was no longer a charge to integrate the fan with our smart home devices. It was easy to connect with Alexa and we now can control the fan via app or voice. The fan is sleek looking and quiet. There is no delay to the LED light when using the remote or app, only with the original light switch. We like the dimmer function

These fans are so disappointing. There is a 10 second delay whenever you turn the LED light on. To utilize the advertised smart functionality, you have to pay an additional $10 on the app. The remote is always falling off the magnet; however, it looks sleek, is very quiet, and has a nice dimmer function.

Light does not turn all the way off unless turned off by switch. If using remote there is a constant faint glow. If turned off by switch, fan doesn't work. Dumb design. Do not put in a bedroom if sensitive to light.

When the electrician installed this he left it turned on. I loved it for the first two weeks until I turned it off. Now I cannot get it to turn back on. I have tried all the troubleshooting in the manual. Loved it wouldn’t work so please help me get it back on.

Wow, what a mess. This fan and light worked fine the first few times I used it, but suddenly stopped working. I tried the reset methods provided in the troubleshooting guide, but they didn't fix the problem. It is impossible to get through to WAC technical support on the phone or via chat, and I am not expecting a response to my email requesting assistance. Will be returning this useless piece of landfill waste to the store.

Massive delay (10 sevonds) between when the lights come on or fan if you turn the switch off

Very good ceiling fan however three stars because I bought it following merchandising suggesting works with Apple HomeKit and turns out it was a typo, a mistake written on the Home Depot website.

They look good and they're very light, the latter not being a good thing: they are very plasticky and 2 of the three we bought make a subtle rattling noise when they spin. Keep very well in mind that one of the main features of these fans are their "smart" capabilities and connectivity with Google Home, Apple Home Kit: you have to pay $10 for the app, one for every fan!!! The app is very poorly implemented and - at least for me - integration with Google Home doesn't work. So I end up using only the remote control. Don't buy these; buy something else, cheaper, and just but a "smart" wall control, that will work better.

Once the fan was installed, it was great. But installing it was a bear. I finally had to call in professional help to finish the job. Instructions were very poor, probably written by an engineer and not a home user. There were not even directions on how to use the remote! Two people at Home Depot said "anyone who can use a screwdriver can install it." Wrong!

Purchased two of these fans within two weeks of each other. First one installed and worked fine. Second unit installed and nothing works - motor or light module!!! Returning for refund. These products cost entirely too much to be defective, especially when a person works so hard to get the thing installed!!

Excellent ceiling fan

The fan is great. Everything about the fan is great. Annoyances which prevents 5 stars:1. Installation instructions are horrible. 2. There is no wall switch included. It’s an additional $50. 3. App to control fan by phone is $10.

Love this-- nice and simple look. The instructions are awful though-- the diagrams are not well detailed, and it really took a long time to figure out, for example, which of three "adapter plates" the instructions were referring to at each point in time. Now that it's done though, I do really like it. It's so quiet! But great air movement. It's only been up for a few hours, so we'll see how it lasts...
