Good feature set, high grade camera, water-resist
Already had one that worked flawlessly, so I bought another. It arrived with a crack in the mount, where it attaches to the camera. We'll see how Wyze handles it.

    Essential tool to get rid of rats!
    You can't imagine how disturbing it was to watch the videos this cam was able to catch in the pitch blackness at night. I was hearing noises and suspected a rat but traps didn't help at all. They were too smart. I never saw them, and had no idea how they got in. By using this cam, I got to see what was going on (and to my absolute disgust). A rat sitting on the rim of my dad's coffee cup and drinking! WTF! By using this cam, I was able to see where they were going, where to place my traps and poison, and see if they showed interest. Finally success! Plus I know they are really gone because I don't have anymore motion detected videos in the morning. I can sleep again thanks to this cam.

        Don’t waste your time/money. Returning mine today
        Bought this today, thought it would be useful. After spending over an hour for this camera to simply read a QR code to set itself up, it would not read the code. Watched videos of how the light may effect the reading of the code, tilting phone etc. It wouldn’t read. The online help is a joke, can’t talk to anyone, just by email only. Needless to say, it’s going back on my way home!

          Night and Day (literally) difference from v2
          I had four V2 cams, and wanted to upgrade to V3, but on a limited budget, so I only replaced two. There is quite literally a night and day difference between these and the older cams. When I pull up my four camera views, I have to sometimes remind myself that I'm NOT looking at daylight shots on the two new ones, because they are that kind of clear. On my two older ones, particularly shooting into areas outdoors that have little extra lighting, I get only the most vague outline of buildings or property -- with the V3, I get extreme level of detail, clear as day. The shot I'm attaching isn't the best, just the only one I ever bothered to capture, it's focused on a tree (sorry), but its good enough to give you the basic details. Both of these shots are cameras indoors, pointing out a window. Stark difference. I will upgrade my other two the next time I have some money sitting around.

            Great picture until it gets rained on
            I have 3 v3 all 3 of them are out door has a great pic at night. Sicks they are less than 1yr old and now can't since it stormed very blury picture

                Impressive low light color video
                I am simply impressed at the capabilities of the V3 camera. The low light color video is particularly amazing. The camera picks up colors that I can't even see at night. I also captured a delivery truck bang into my fence, including plate number. It helped me get a claim paid out. The monitoring service is great too. Great value!

                  Wow, I bought one of these, and ended up getting 5 more lol. Amazing video quality and built. Very easy to setup, a kid can do it alone following the Wyze app instructions. Love all the perks I get with the camera. Also cam plus is great, the subscription isn’t expensive like a lot of other competitors, just keep it acce$sible for all, please. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and I’d buy again, soon :)

                    Wyze cam 2 vs. 3
                    I really like the ease and cost of Wyze cams, having 7 of the version 2 cameras. I recently have been replacing the version 2 cameras with the version 3's and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Literally the difference is night and day. The price has not gone up, but the quality of the images, especially at night, is fantastic. Only have 1 more to replace. Thanks Wyze!

                    These cameras are AMAZING! The clarity of the picture no matter how much or how little light there is is awesome! The real time alerts make it easy to stay on top of tresspassers on our property. And the cost is so Affordable! I love the continuous recording option with a 32 GB memory card, it has paid off for me so many times already in a short span of maybe 2 months. I have approximately 80 of these cameras and will probably add more! Thank you Wyze for creating something that does what it is intended to do.

                    Very bad firmware causing the camera to not connec
                    Very bad firmware causing the camera to not connect. They have replaced the unit 3 times and it continues having issues of not connecting. So I have a useless plastic white box. Never buying again from Wyze. I used to like the products.

                      I like this camera so much, that I have purchased a second unit as well. Great picture and features, grab yourself a high quality microSD card for continuing recording and you're set. I also opted for the yearly subscription at $15. I will report back once I find out how they hold up outdoors over a Canadian winter.

                      Pre-ordered: 10/27/2020; Received: 12/10/2020; RED light of death: 08/10/2021. You were here eight months. You braved Texas bi-polar weather: Rains, Snow, Sleet but gave out in the Heat. Eight months of you randomly going offline (when connected to spotlight). When I removed the spotlight you were a trooper you stayed on fighting. But I won’t miss your annoying false motion detections - my cat walking on my car is not a person. You couldn’t detect a person randomly walking into my driveway but you could detect cobwebs, pollen & bugs. I won’t miss you blowing up my phone with hundreds of notifications. I won’t miss the back to back firmware updates (beta). Gone to soon…

                          Very good camera for the price. It has options to view videos triggered by motion. It can tell you if a person, vehicle or package was in the video. It is not perfect, it makes mistakes in determining right things, however there is a way to report a proper object so that their AI learns and improves.

                          This camera works well day and night. App freezes during setting adjustment but just closing and re-opening the app solve the problem. So far my experience with the app is good. Although, it is recommended 32 GB, I added 64GB micro SD card Sandisk high endurance and record local 24/7 or motion events is perfect (your choice).This camera really needs low light at night for a color nigh vision. The plus subscription is not expensive compared with my other brand camera (Nestcam). Strongly recommend this camera, I got three and all are working perfect.

                            LOVED IT, UNTIL IT JUST STOPED WORKING
                            I received my v3 for free from the company as apart of a Black Friday promotion, for purchasing a 1 year subscription to cam plus! After waiting a few months for my Cam to arrive due to the back order/chip situation; it finally got here! I must say, MAJOR improvement over the v2! I have roughly around 10 Wyze cams.... including the a few of the original, 1 Cam Pan, several v2's, Wyze Cam outdoor, Wyze video doorbell...along with 1- V3; Most recently I received the home security bundle, but have yet to set it up! I absolutely loved my V3..... while it lasted that is! I ordered the spotlight Kit with my free promo Cam; and used it to replace my current V2 in my diningroom. Amazing picture... beautiful sound quality..... very fast response time when trying to remotely view... and the color night vision was fantastic. After a few days I started to notice a greenish yellow pixels type "fog" on the live and recorded image. I have a slightly low hanging diningroom light, so I just chalked it off as maybe it was a sort of glare from the light. However, after a few more days, the "pixel fog" started to grow larger and larger...... Until finally it consumed the entire image. Completely confused, I restarted my Camera with the power cycle function on the app. But the camera would not reconnect. Once I arrived back at home, I decided maybe I should do a full hardware reset and start from scratch...... Now, the camera literally refuses to power on at all!?!?! Note that from the time it was first unsealed from the factory box, it was securely mounted on my diningroom wall. I used a formatted Wyze Brand 32g micro SD card, as well as the the original mounting hardware, factory outlet plug box and oem cable..... I've researched several different issues, to possibly find any sort of solution... with ZER0 Luck...... Sadly, I am extremely let down.... I had hella high hopes for the V3 and initially was ecstatic of my new camera!

                                It only took me several months to pull the trigger and 3 nails on our tire to get this cam. (I had to see if someone was playing with us LOL.) Stationed on our front porch, awesome video quality for the price and I did the free trial of their cam plus just to see if it's worth paying for. And it totally is, now I'm on their plan. I don't mind paying extra for it coz the camera itself is already priced better than the other cameras out there that also requires a subscription plan to get full features. So technically, you still have a pretty good deal here. What also blew me away was the clarity and brightness of the images at night! I def recommend getting this camera :)

                                    I ordered a total of 4 of these. Two were defective. One had a black vertical line in the middle, and the second had a very pink hue to the picture. I tried to post a review and it was blocked by the company saying it didn't meet their standards. How about the cameras don't meet MY standards?

                                      The Cam v3 is great! My camera has captured video of the aurora (northern lights), cars going by the end of my 100' long driveway and birds at a bird feeder about 40' from the camera. The night vision with the IR on is very clear in no light and with a little natural light exceptional! With less then half a moon i can see clearly across my meadow, over 200' at night. I have a couple and will be adding more

                                          This is my 3rd Wyze cam, and this generation has the best picture to date. It is very clear, and covers a large area. The sound is scratchy, with a constant scratch noise in the background, even when there isn’t anything making any sound. It makes listening to voices almost impossible. Not sue if my cam has an issue, but the sound is basically unusable.

                                            The v3 camera is Wyze’s best so far.
                                            The nighttime image is great. The water resistance let’s me put it outside where there’s no window sills and covers my home’s blind spot where I’ve had several break-ins. The installation screws seem to be the wrong size but the camera itself is wonderful.
