The website states this is compatible with Ring Video Doorbell 3. It is NOT. The holes do not match up to be able to mount on the Ring 3.

No it advertised that it would fit my ring and it did not fit. So I will return it

It does what it's designed to do but it isn't very secure since it is made of plastic. If this was made from powder-coated metal it would be more difficult to steal the Ring and could hold up better in weather. I've seen what the Sun can do to plastics over time.

I feel hoodwinked by the description of the product. There is no "Ring Video Doorbell 1" now being offered (and version 1 is never called version 1, so what WAS it called when it was offered?). There is, however, a Ring Video Doorbell Wired. This doesn't fit that version. I'd have returned it if I hadn't already modified it. I don't blame the product, but Home Depot.

The aesthetics deserve 2 stars. It does NOT fit the basic Ring. (The all-black "Video Doorbell Wired" on ring.com.) Since ring.com does not list a "Ring video doorbell 1," I thought there was a good chance that it would. This is far too wide for Ring's all-black Video Doorbell Wired. The screw holes don't match, and even if you did manage to MAKE THEM FIT, it wouldn't be centered. It would leave the electronics open to the elements and it would be even more ugly than it already is. (The adjustment screw mechanism on the top is going to be ugly, even if it does fit your Ring.) The current Ring models that appear to be the correct size for this are all the ones that are black on top and silver on bottom. * Video Doorbell (2020 version) * Video Doorbell 3 and maybe Video Doorbell 4, although they don't list it as fitting. As for me, I could make this work if I create a wooden plate to cover the hollow guts of this, with a hole in the center, and then attach my Ring to the plate. Or I could upgrade my Ring, I suppose. That would be kind of bass-ackwards, but it's an option.

The mount worked well, but there is no way to secure it to the wall. Any one with a screwdriver can pull it down and take my Ring doorbell with them.

Satisfied with product, better than nothing. Would be better if it would expand slightly more so a side mound and view would be more effective.

Very cheaply made. Starting angle of 10 deg is a bit steep but wanted to try it anyway. Screws holding power is weak and strip easily. It did not meet my needs so simply threw it out.

My entry way is circular. It came out perfect. Enjoying the expanded view

Easy to install. Performs perfectly.

So far so good. Super easy to install and makes viewing alot easier. Seems like a fantastic value and they give you all the hardware you except for a Mason drill bit.
