I intedned to purchase a new ladder (for nearly $400). What arrived was clearly used and used hard. Delivery lady said thats how they are. When I called the store the supervisor tried to defend the terrible service and product as if ‘thats all we have available’ is my problem ot good enough. Shame on HomeDepot. Shame on store #6639

The ladder was perfect to reach a high roof safely. I added a stabilizer attachment and extention pass through arms for safety. I am very pleased with these tools.

I dont think I was just unlucky and got a defected ladder. Ladder is twisted when full extended. I measured the placement of the ladder latch locks and the are 1/4 of an inch off. Returning and buying a different brand. Huge disappointment.

Loved this 300lb load ladder for two years. The other day, had the feet burred in the ground while on the ladder. Ladder shifted slightly. When I got down I noticed the *plastic* 45 angle bracket on the bottom rung was broken and the foot actually tore away at the fiberglass ladder ripping it. This ladder was supposed to last 30 years but lasted two!

This is a very sturdy ladder, doesn't flex, feels safe. Had it for many years, store it inside a tool shed away from sunlight. The extra safety of fiberglass is well worth the weight, I use "Ladder Mover" to easily roll it where I raise it.

I've used the ladder for tree trimming, exterior painting, and it feels real safe when you're up there a ways. I used to have a cheap ladder and it was sketchy, but this is very well; however, it's heavy to lug around.

Bought this ladder new in 2019 to reach second story gutters to clean them once a year. Professional gutter cleaning was $300 each time so it seemed like spending $400 on a ladder to DIY was a worthy investment. Got up to use it recently (this would be the 3rd time) and I noticed what looked like a crack near the 4th rung of the extension. Not a good feeling at 20 feet up. Got down, sent photos over to Werner who said it's a fiberglass bloom. I explained I can hook my fingernail on/under it and they replied sorry, not a defect and no warranty. Never dropped it or hit it with anything. It never fell over. Out $400 on a ladder that's been used 3 times sucks but I guess lesson learned. I'll back to aluminum. Other than the crack it's a good ladder.

I mean it's a pretty good ladder but I'm giving it one star because seriously, why aren't the external guide brackets beveled?!? When I go up or down the ladder, I usually grab the stiles rather than rungs where everybody puts their muddy feet - but I have scraped my hand to the point of bleeding so many times just because the external guide brackets are freaking edge sharp. Where were the freaking engineers??? Werner should have hired me cause the brackets would be beveled to prevent unnecessary scrapes all the time.

I ordered this ladder online for delivery. It was delivered the next day and the delivery experience was top notch. The ladder is not nearly as heavy as I thought, and I am able to carry and setup the ladder by myself. I purchased my fist two story home last year and its a problem not being able to reach the roof with my 12 foot extension ladder. I needed to clean the gutters on the second story and wanted to paint the upper story. I was able to clean out the gutters. Climbing the ladder the first time was a bit scary, but I got use to it. I don't think I will try to paint, because there is a lot of area that I can't reach or I don't have enough room to safely position the ladder. I did not immediately figure out how to use the rope/pully to raise the ladder, so I just did it manually. I watched a wernerco.com video for this model and figured out how to raise and lower the ladder using the rope/pully and it is easy to do, you just need some good hand strength to start the pull.

I purchased the 24ft fiberglass at home depot about 1.5 years ago. I have used this ladder a total of 5 times. I keep stored out of elements while not in use. Ladder has never been dropped. It is now warped and cannot be fixed or replaced or Werner. Look elsewhere if you want something that will hold up.

buy a ladder of these 6 months ago, it started to break, obviously it is a factory defect. I contacted the company and they told me that they do not become responsible for repairing it or changing it to me very annoying. They sayd. I have checked the pictures that you forwarded. Unfortunately, these type of damage cannot be repaired by recoating the ladder. Recoating can prevent the ladder to get exposed to elements that eventually leads to compromising the fiberglass material of the ladder - thus, resulting it to be brittle and crack. Fiberglass is a heavy duty material and does not crack easily. Cracks on the rails of a fiberglass ladder is usually a result of an outside force/weight that hit the ladder. Also, the rails are not replaceable so the ladder is now beyond repair. Dont buy this produc.

WATCH OUT for ladders sold at the Kyle, TX. store! Many ladders are used being sold as new! One was used long enough to have someone's name on the side with a magic marker. See image. Others have mud and grass on the foot of the ladder. I checked these out after receiving a ladder that was scarred all over and filthy.

For a standard two-story house, this is the ladder you need.24 feet one allows you to install the U-bar which provides more stability, plus 300 lbs rating is the norm.For DYI purposes it may be kind of hard to find storage in the garage, but it pays for itself just with one gutter cleaning.Great ladder!

The 24 footer extension ladder got me to my heights with no problems. I was more than satisfied.

An awesome price for an AWESOME ladder.

Good Price at Home Depot. Well built. Have an older fiberglass Werner Ladder like this. Left it out standing up one cold day and the foot froze to the ground. Snapped off when I tried to move it. The newer model seems to have a better/stronger design for the foot attachment. Only negative on this one and the old one - The latches/catch mechanisms are a little too wide and block a fair portion of the rung. You have to be careful and place your feet in the center of the rung. Other than that a great ladder

I'm very happy with this ladder. It's light in weight yet very solid feeling even when fully extended. It's long enough to reach the roof of my 1920's Colonial. Great ladder for painting.

this ladder is a dream. after years of using an aluminum ladder i will never go back! total confidence when up in the air thanks to the sturdiness of this gem.

It's just a ladder, nothing special. It arrived several weeks sooner than promised, the HD associate was very helpful and brought it to the front of the store for me.

I an constantly up and down telephone poles in my profession and when you are toting a ladder on your shoulder up hills and through the woods, weight matters! This thing is super light and easy to handle. My last ladder weighed twice as much and I have no idea why because this thing doesn't flex much and hold my 220lb self just fine. Highly suggested.

As an electrician we needed a ladder to do service upgrades and this is a great ladder but unfourtunately it was not tall enough so we exchanged it for a 32' ladder because many electric services are too high for a 24' ladder.

As a new homeowner, I was throwing around the idea of buying the cheapo aluminum one, but am glad I took my dear 'ol dad's advice and bought this fiberglass one (he's an electrician). It's MUCH sturdier than the other one, and how often do you buy ladders anyways? Used it in NC to repair soffitt 18' up. Takes 2 to fully extend and position safely. A little shaky on top, but felt safe. Be careful of the pull rope as you go up and down.
