I put off this project for months thinking it would be difficult, but watched a youtube video and it was VERY easy. This kit changed our UGLY deteriorated trip-lever fixtures into a glowing beautiful look with convenient toe operation. Highly recommend!

Although manufactured overseas, this solid brass drain and stopper is probably the best quality of its kind that I have seen so far. A possible improvement for sales and marketing would be to include a tough plastic wrench of sorts so the average Do-it-yourself-er can more easily install it without butchering-up the internals or the finish. The finish, by the way, is excellent. Something I would categorize as "show chrome" that should last a lifetime, especially as compared to most others with a quick dip in the vat.

I like that this matched my Oil Rubber Bronze fixtures. I did need to look up, how to change out drain trim because mine seemed to be pretty stuck. My issue with the plunger design in general is that they tend to become bacteria farms and get gross. I have a plunger design in my sink and it's always getting totally clogged with bio film. Also the plunger design on this doesn't allow as much water to drain away. Might be good if you accidentally drop a small item in the tub. I think for me, I prefer the twist type or a good old fashioned rubber plug. It looks nice and is well made, solid brass with the rubbed oil finish. Very solid.

I acquired this product to replace the original drain stopper in my home that was installed over 25 years ago that still worked but was losing its aesthetic appeal due to pitting. Removal and replacement required a plumbers tool that I happen to already own (you need this for undersink work as well as tub work) but was pretty straightforward. I had to access installation instructions online since no instructions were provided with the product but it works well and looks awesome. This product is a great update for old drain stoppers that still work but look bad and for accessorizing new installations. Nobody wants to touch the drain, and you can operate this one with your foot.

My old tub stopper was not seating into the rubber seal as good as it should and I was tired of pushing and wiggling to get it to seal. Also, it was the style that has the knurled knob that my feet needed to avoid. This new pop-up design is smooth and well made. The reducer adapter is true threaded brass which feels of quality. My old adapter was plastic which worked, but since I installed it five years previous, I always felt it was cheap. Sure hope this nylon pop-up mechanism lasts. My feet really like this new stopper assembly. It was fairly easy to install if you understand the plumbing, although there was no instructions.

When we bought our house the stopper for the tub was missing so we had been using one of the old fashioned rubber plugs that you normally see in utility sinks. This unit really dresses up the tub, is very easy to use, just tap it with your foot to open and close. Easy to install with a tool sold in the hardware/plumbing department of Home Depot that makes it much easier to unscrew the old drain. Took my husband about 20 min. total to install. Also comes with a new overflow cover, so everything matches.

This fit perfectly in my tub. The finish is excellent and I'm glad I ordered it.
