[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple weeks ago and the ice maker is horrible. It won’t give me ice without making a loud bang and then the refrigerator door starts opening. During the night it makes a loud kaboom noise and hasn’t been pleasant at all. My refrigerator part is good but that ice maker is the worst I have ever had. It is full of ice but won’t dispense it. I have to take the tray out and take the ice manually then it makes that kaboom sound making new ice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second one in a year because the Doors do not match up and the seals also are flawed because they keep tearing.This is one of three that my daughter and Mother-in -Law also bought the same model after we thought it was a good buy but are having same problem. What does this Company plan on doing to resolve this issue Unfortunately this was not the case and the new one has the same Flaw and the seal is tearing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our Whirlpool refrigerator in November of 2023 for our new home. It replaced the exact same model we had in our previous home purchased in 2017. We were so happy with refrigerator we had to have the same one in our new home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The side by side refrigerator of another brand that came with this house was totally inadequate. This upgrade to a Whirlpool French Door model was long overdue. The refrigerator layout allows enough customization of shelf heights so that I can store items based on most frequent usage and easier accessibility. The lighting is bright and crisp; perfect for total visibility of everything that is stored. The bottom drawer two tier freezer is perfect for the amount of frozen food used. All in all, this Whirlpool does the job and more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this one to replace the exact same refrigerator since it was part of a set and I wanted it to match still. Unfortunately, the first one I bought only lasted four years… That's not very good but I'm hoping it was a fluke.

If I could give this 0 starts I would. This is the worst appliance I’ve ever had. The upper “self closing” door won’t close completely unless you slam it, and the freezer doesn’t seal, making it frosty all the time and very difficult to open/close because the track it runs on gets all icy. The ice maker will regularly dump ice out all over my floor when I open the freezer, scaring the h*** out of anyone else sleeping in the house if it happens at night. When it makes ice, each piece that drops into the bin sounds like a gunshot. If I could chuck it over the back fence, I would. My cheap college apartment from 30 years ago had a better refrigerator. This thing works like something I might have purchased at the Dollar Tree. DON’T waste your money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had this refrigerator for about two weeks so this review is limited. I have two issues so far: 1. My fault but I did not realize there was no butter compartment included (I’ve never had a refrigerator that didn’t have one before) and there doesn’t appear to be an accessory butter compartment that I can purchase for this model. 2. The interior water dispenser button is located above the spigot, rather than immediately under the spigot, so it requires two hands to fill a cup of water. Otherwise, I’m happy with the capacity and other features.

The only thing is that it makes slot of noise when water is dispensed into the lines Yoy can hear it running through the fridge. The plastic panel that cover the veggie drawer is very flimsy and not of hard plastic it comes of hinges everytime I open the drawer. I’m just hoping it last a while.

My last Whirlpool refrigerator was still going strong after 12+ years. I have had this refrigerator for only four months and the door seal has already torn off. I’m very displeased with the quality.

I bought 2 of these refrigerators: one for my daughter and one for myself. I noticed that the stainless steel was corroding near the door handles on both refrigerators. (See photos) It didn’t start happening until after the warranty period. In addition, I had bought a dishwasher and the same thing is happening. I contacted Whirlpool and they won’t do anything. So, would I buy these again…no!

After seven weeks of owning our refrigerator, it broke down. We’ve had it still less than a year and the repair man has tried to fix it Five times. We are using our 23 year old refrigerator that was moved into the garage …because we can no longer trust our new one! I have a feeling Whirlpool will not help us and this will continue until are warranty is up then we will be out the $1500 we paid and a new refrigerator that we can’t trust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with our new Whirlpool refrigerator! Our old whirlpool fridge fasted twenty years, this time we went with a French door style. Due to a wall on the right side of where our fridge is placed we had to be careful to check the width of the fridge with the doors open. The whirlpool hinge design fit in the 37” space and still allowed for the doors to open. Some models we looked at had thick doors hinged to the outside that extended up to 4” beyond the unit’s width when the doors were open, preventing one door from opening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Whirlpool refrigerator that lasted over 20 years, so we got this one to replace the old one. It is somewhat quieter than the old model. The lowest shelf no longer goes far down enough to allow for storage of taller items without raising the top shelf to the highest position, rendering that side hard to use and a lot of wasted space. I did that on one side and have two, skinny areas high up on the other, just so that I can store my water jug. The thickness of the door compartments take up just enough room to NOT fit all the things that used to fit in the door, which means they have to take up space in the main area. And, THERE IS NO BUTTER KEEPER! I'm very short, and it's very inconvenient to have to reach over the top basket to get to my butter, and that is high enough that it's almost the only thing I can keep in there. We don't have water hooked up to it, so I can't review the water system or ice maker. OH! But the freezer divider on the top level is weird and goes horizontally, not vertically, and apparently cannot be moved. I'm hoping the unit lasts, but I'm also still trying to figure out the best ways to utilize the space. The produce drawers are good.

Thanksgiving was coming and we were going to have guests. We went to look immediately and found a newer model of the same one we had that fit the built in look. It arrived and was installed the Monday before Thanksgiving. Only complaint is the louder humming of the compressor. Not sure if this is normal or not. Tried calling to ask but didn’t wait the twenty minutes for a reply

The large bottom freezer is about the same, good storag to organize and see. More is stored in the doors and the meat/ cheese slide out drawer is larger
