My new Whirlpool dishwasher is not only sweet to look at but it cleans everything beautifully and quietly!

This is an absolute piece of garbage. The inside is ALWAYS soaking wet. We had a tech come out to look at it and he said nothing was wrong with it, but for some reason this model has no fan to draw out the moisture and he commented that "they don't make them like they used to." I am very concerned about mold and rust. I am not exaggerating when I say there is no way for moisture to escape, so everything is always soaking wet when we open it. We make sure heated dry on, extra hot wash is on, we run hot water before the cycle, the rinse aide full - we've tried it all. DO NOT BUY!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our new dishwasher about a week now, so I though I would give our impressions. To start, this is not our 1st Whirlpool dishwasher, but replaces another brand we tried, but gave earlier than we hoped for. We look forward to this model living up to Whirlpool’s record of reliability. First, the build feels solid with all stainless interior. The filtering system is superior to our old machine and the sensor wash is a nice technology advancement. I like the multi position feature of the utensil holder. We prefer to use the door locations and find it attaches securely and leave more room in the lower rack for loading. Some people complain about the length of the cycles, but find it is only slightly longer than our old dishwasher. The controls are easy to use and understand and I like the indicator light on the door to let you know what cycle you are on. I have run loads using the different cycle choices and find the dishwasher exceeds the expectations we had. Dishes come out spotless. I prefer to air dry our loads, so I not used the heated dry cycle. However, we don’t find excessive moisture on the items. One thing I like is how extremely quiet this model is. Our old model was quiet but is even better. This was an important feature to us as our den is adjacent to the kitchen. We hope to enjoy this dishwasher for years to come

This dishwasher is so quiet, I forget it is running. I love the utensil bin on the door as it provides more room for dishes. Definitely would recommend this dishwasher.

I wanted another brand but this deal was too good to pass up and since no branding on the door nobody knows my appliances don't match. This unit looks fantastic on the outside. It is fairly quiet and install was simple. Though the wheel position in the manual was confusing. I will now need to change positions because I'm not perfectly level. I didn't need to buy any additional parts for my installation. I did have to make a custom bracket to attach to my granite countertop. It washes and dries well with the rinse aid and suggested high quality pods. My issues are the cheap feel of the rollers, not sure they will last long. Also the holes in the silverware basket are too small for some of my silverware. I wish the basket locked on the door better and I wish the soap dispenser wasn't so close to the basket. Another big feature I wish it has was a rinse. I think all dishwasher should have a rinse and a rinse and dry feature. Overall I'm happy and the unit seems worth the price I paid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the stainless steel interior as well as the exterior. It dries better without having to use the dry function. The silverware basket is great because its versatile, can be put in 3 different places as needed. Cleans wonderfully on the sensor function saving energy and with only 2 of us in the house we let the dishes sit in dishwasher for several days before washing. No need to prewash with this unit. Love it!

We have had this dishwasher for less than a year, and numerous plastic parts have been breaking off of it; the most recent part to break was a piece that hooks into one of the roller wheels, rendering the top rack very loose and unusable. It is disappointing how cheaply everything seems to be made now.

Dishwasher was easy to install on my own to replace outdated one. Runs super quiet. The only things are, you need to use rinse aid to get everything dry and the utensil basket should be larger sections.

Awesome dishwasher and just love the hidden controls on top. This completes our Whirlpool collection with all 4 for the kitchen.

I was shocked after running the first load at how clear my glassware was, they were practically invisible! It has excellent space as well. I really like that the silverware holder can be removed from the rack and hung on the door to create more room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After over 14 years of service our old whirlpool dishwasher was requiring resets frequently. It gave us many years of good service so we bought a new one. So far very happy with it. Hoping it is as reliable as the one it replaced.

So far so good!! Very quiet, cleans well, and love the way this appliance looks in my kitchen.

The dishwasher is very sleek looking and we love the fingerprint resistant surface. We 8nstalled it ourselves and the process was easy even for novices. Since it's new I can't speak to the longevity but so far we would definitely purchase it again.

When my 20-year-old Kenmore finally gave up the ghost, I thought, oh well. A dishwasher is a dishwasher. Boy, was I wrong! After a month of using it, I have come to love the stainless steel tub. I didn't think it would make that much of a difference for me, but that old plastic tub was stained to where i just couldn't get it clean any more. This one I don't have to worry about. I just seems to stay clean so far. The first thing I noticed was how quiet it is. You just barely hear it running. I mean, my hearing isn't what it used to be, but still.. sometimes I have to go look at the light to be sure it's running. The second thing I noticed is that I just don't seem to be able to fill the thing up. The same amount of dishes that stuffed my old dishwasher fits comfortably in this one. I don't wash my pots and pans in the dishwasher, but if I did, there would be room after the rest of my dishes have been loaded. I'm not fighting to fit the taller things in where they don't bump into the spray arm or block it's movement. Tall Tub! Big difference! The rinse agent indicator is very easy to see. This is new to me. All my old dishwashers were impossible to tell their level except for the fact that my dishes weren't getting rinsed properly. Not knowing before hand feels like a health hazard to me. This one, I can always be sure the rinse agent is full before I run the machine. My dishes come out sparkling! The silverware tray has slotted plastic covers that are too narrow for my silverware to fit through. I took them all off except for the two in the very center. I use those for plastic ware only. It seems to hold the lighter pieces in place so they don't end up down in the bottom of the dishwasher. I also like the fact that the whole thing mounts solidly on the door out of the way. I take it out to fill it (unless I just have a couple pieces) and slip it back in place before I turn the machine on. At first, I found it frustrating that the bottom dish rack wasn't sliding in and out smoothly. Then I realized that the door wasn't going all the way open on its own. You have to give it a nudge to be sure it's all the way down, then that rack slides in and out with ease, even when the silverware holder is in place. To my mind, this is fine. The door just seems nice and tight. I am completely pleased with this dishwasher and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good mid-range priced machine.

The fingerprint resistant stainless steel is awesome! Love, love, love how quiet it is. Can finally wash dishes at night without worrying about the noise! It cleans much better than the old model as well. It does take almost twice as long to do a load, but that's because of the newer energy efficiency features.

After seeing the great reviews I was very optimistic about this dishwasher ,but have been very disappointed. The racks are very light weight and feel really cheap. Even after adding in the rinse additive and using the heat drying cycle my dishes (not just the plastic dishes) do not get dry. In order for my dishes to really get clean I have to run hot water at the tap for 2-3 minutes until the water is hot. This model has an internal filter that the users guide says you need to clean and empty - - I have never heard of this on a dishwasher in my life. The filter does not easily come out from under the edge of the washer arm. I am very particular about always rinsing my dishes well before putting them in, and my dishwasher is tied into my disposal. However that being said there is constantly standing water in the well where this filter sits and it has solid particles in it - -I have no idea how to clean this and honestly shouldn't have to on a brand new dishwasher. It's not a plumbing issue because we had all of our drain lines checked before starting our remodel. Please look elsewhere - it's not worth the money. I honestly would take back my 25 year old kenmore if I could.

I bought this on 5/25/2019. I did not get the kit that is recommend, my 5 years old Maytag dishwasher needed to be replaced. I used the same drainage connectors and 110 power cord connector from my older Maytag dishwasher. Save yourself 30$. I took out the dishwasher myself and left it on the driveway for bulk pickup. Dishwashers are fairly light you may need to have another person haul it out. My wife helped me carry it to the curb. Save yourself another 20$. I watched a you.tube video on how to install a dishwasher. Pretty simple just have to have the right tools. Install time was about 1.5 hours since it was my first time. The unit works prefect. I have no issues. Stainless steel inside. It has a heating element so my dishes are dry when they are done. Dishes are nice and toasty so be careful when emptying a freshly washed load. The top buttons are nice, a light touch actives the unit. You do not need to press hard to chose which cycles. I did not get the extended warranty, I plan on paying for the home appliance insurance plan since my other appliances may eventually fail.

So far it works well. We replaced a 9 yr old whirlpool gold. The old one seemed to clean a bit better but it also held more detergent. We may switch to dish pods and see if it works better.

This is a great dishwasher. We love the Whirlpool products. The dishwasher does exactly what is designed to do, a great job of washing the dishes. The only reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is because it makes a louder noise intermittently throughout the cycle. However, when it doesn't make the loud noise the cycle is so quiet you don't hear it at all. I would recommend for style and cleaning dishes.
