I purchased this for my Whirlpool gas stovetop. The model number ordered was W10685483, but the griddle is stamped W10597158. So, I don't know if these are the same or not. Perhaps Whirlpool replaced the old unit with this new crappier unit. The picture in my Whirlpool manual shows the item almost covering the entire right section of my stove. The actual item received is smaller and just looks really weird on the grate (see pictures). It's actually so small that I question how useful this will be. However, the biggest issue is that the front burner is the largest burner on my gas stove...and this design gives you the least amount of surface area to use this burner.
Overall, this is a huge disappointment.

the griddle is really to small can only cook 3 eggs at a time or 2 pancakes I thought griddle would have been the same width of my metal grids the griddle is to small as in the width like to know if a griddle is available that is longer and wider I do not use griddle wasted my money

The griddle is shown to fit on the left side,...
The griddle is shown to fit on the left side, as it should for my cook top. I received a right had griddle. The right side burners are different size and therefore it cooks unevenly.
