[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded our appliances and found this highly-rated low profile model that would give us 5" more clearance above the range without compromising heating capacity. The LED surface light could be brighter, but we're happy with the increased stovetop visibility. The longer door and the fact that it sticks out 5" beyond the cabinets is not a problem for us and is worth the trade'off. The sleek front is easy to clean and matches our new induction range. Performance is fine, though punching in the time before closing the door takes some relearning. Exhaust fan is noisy on high but does what it's supposed to do.

I bought this over the range in May, after a precise installation by a professional, we noticed that it is blowing a good part of sucked air from underneath back into the kitchen space from the top part of it as well as from all the gaps bringing all the smell and grease particles back to the house, we spent a lot of time, energy and temper going back and forth between Whirlpool Canada and Homedepot to show them that it is not working the way it was supposed to work, eventually we returned it to Homedepot, very disappointed with Whirlpool producing something this expensive but not designed properly not to return the sucked air back into the house! You can watch attached video and see for yourself, the exhaust was checked thoroughly and it was open and clean. there is no channel from beneath the unit to the exhaust on the back or on the top, the air just travels through the whole machine to find it's way out to the exhaust!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this microwave installed a little over 2 weeks ago. I wasn't sure it would fit due to our cabinet configuration, but it looks great! The only thing I would change is to make the light a little brighter. The fan is phenomenal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and so far it's great, I bought the 10inch size to keep it further away from the cook top and was pleasantly surprised that it still accommodated anything we use in it.what I like best is how futuristic it looks inside, like a Teflon pan finish and it's just as easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and I love it! I have low cabinets and my previous microwave sit so low it “barely” met code for height requirements. Finally bought this one and I love it. It is sleek and beautiful. Because it is low profile I was worried I wouldn’t be able to fit certain things in it. I use large bowls when baking and sometimes soften butter in the microwave. Even my largest bowl fit without a problem. It has so many adjustable settings and it is one of the quietest microwaves I have ever (not) heard and the gentle chime when it is done is so pleasant. But if the chime is too loud or you hate it you can change the volume or completely turn it off. Can’t say enough about this microwave.

We've had the micorwave just over 4 years and it died. fli The flimsy plastic thing with wheels which is used to turn the glass turntable very often didn't work and the bowls or plate would slip. It's only 900 w, so food was cooked inconsistently. After 13 months, like other said, the touch setting to open the door barely worked, we would open it by hand That said, I loved the steam feature, the light over the stove, and the fan settings. I loved that I had more space to cook on the stove, instead not being able to see what was cooking on the back of the stove. I loved the stainless steel interior, it was so easy to clean and to see inside. Hopefully, Whirlpool will be able to take the kinks out, and make it better.

We watched a YouTube video for installation instead of following the manual and it was way easier. We have a very small kitchen and constantly need to find small appliances. This low profile microwave fit perfectly, and it matches all of the other black appliances.

We renovated the whole kitchen and installed all black stainless steel appliances…for our compact kitchen this was the perfect size…love it.

We were so happy to get rid of our old big microwave and get this Low Profile one from Whirlpool. This does everything our old microwave did without taking up all that space. The exhaust fan is powerful but the light could be much brighter. Cudos to Whirlpool for coming out with this great looking & performing Low Profile Microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this since February 21st of 2023. I love the low profile that gives you more of a view of the stove when you are cooking. Plenty of power and programable for diffrent types of food you want to cook. Looks great and easy to install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this microwave for a couple of weeks and love the low profile look and the functions. It looks great with our matching Whirlpool appliances and we love it.

I really liked the fact it gives me more space underneath. Features are ok. The one thing that drives me crazy is how sensitive the fan and light buttons are. Even the lightest touch when cleaning the microwave will turn them both on… It definitely heats things up fast!

The vent is loud when on max but very powerful. Sleek, compact and beautiful.
