Needed a small portable AC for a small 150 sf study room. This unit does the work cooling down quickly but, unfortunately, not so quietly. I was prepared for the noise from reading previous reviews. The noise keeps one aware of its existence but doesn't bother me when I work over the phone with my headset (with mic) on. The installation was easy by ourselves, didn't take long. The manual provides clear instructions on the installation on different types of windows. We added an extra layer of foam at the window panel to keep the heat from permeating in. Also, thanks to another review, wrapping the exhaust pipe is a brilliant idea! Will recommend it to anyone who needs a portable AC.
